Victor deactivated his armor and looked at the new notification that appeared on his retina.

"Oh." Victor raised an eyebrow when he read the notification and opened his inventory, where he saw a new skillbook.
He brought out the skillbook, and the details of the skill appeared on his screen.

"It’s almost the same, and I’m sure if the minimum requirement to harm the user while activating the skill wasn’t an opponent of the same Tier, it would be SS Rank as well," Victor muttered as he clicked his tongue. His One with Lightning skill required enemies to be one Tier higher than him to damage him, but that was not the case for this one.

Victor looked ahead and raised an eyebrow when he saw Amber walking toward him before giving him a deep kiss.
"Mmmmph."
"As expected, Master, I knew you would win," Amber said with a seductive smile as she looked at Victor and teased, "But you were slow. I finished my opponent before you."
Amber spoke in an arrogant tone.
Smack!
"Hngh." Amber moaned when she felt Victor spank her buttocks.
"Heh, my enemy was way stronger than that Duke Brightflame trash," Victor said playfully, causing Amber to roll her eyes.
"By the way, this is for you," Victor said.
Amber raised an eyebrow as she took the skillbook. The moment the details of the skillbook appeared on her retina, her eyelids trembled. She looked at Victor with a dazed and disbelieving expression and said, "This is really..."
Victor simply nodded, and Amber immediately understood. Her face lit up with excitement.
She had always been extremely jealous of Victor’s ability to turn into lightning. She also wanted the ability to transform into ice. Victor had promised that he would help her obtain a similar skill in the future, so when she saw the undead using that skill, she had been both shocked and excited. She had hoped Victor’s insane luck at obtaining rare drops would come through, and who would have thought her wish would actually come true?
’Damn, he sure has heaven-defying luck when it comes to things dropped by monsters,’ Amber exclaimed inwardly as she looked at Victor with adoration.
"Thank you." She jumped on top of him and started kissing his lips and face as Victor stood silently and accepted the assault.
Seeing them openly flirting in the middle of the devastation and corpses while they were covered in blood made the onlookers’ eyebrows twitch, especially Rina, who felt a surge of jealousy and longing.
"...For some reason, I feel uncomfortable just looking at them," Eleanor whispered to Rina and Emily as she stared at the duo.
Emily nodded repeatedly. "Same here."
’Damn, judging by their relationship, it seems my daughter would be the third wheel.’ Hilbert felt his temper flare for a moment, but it cooled down when he noticed the jealous look on his daughter’s face.
Even Rina could feel the corner of her eye twitch a couple of times as she watched the scene before her.
Crack
"Amazing." Amber’s eyes widened in shock as she directly activated her newly learned skill, shattered her arm as it turned into ice, and regenerated it instantly.
"By the way, why didn’t you kill him yet?" Victor asked with a raised eyebrow as he pointed toward Duke Brightflame, who had turned into an ice sculpture. He could still feel the faint traces of life force, which meant he was still alive.
Amber shrugged and replied, "I kept him alive. I thought you should kill him, and maybe, thanks to your luck, you might get some rare drops."
Victor nodded, thinking it made perfect sense, then raised his hand and uttered,
"Multi Purgatory Lightning Serpents."
Rumble
Victor muttered as he pointed toward the sky. Multiple serpents shot into the heavens before descending toward Duke Brightflame.
"Gravity Manipulation."
Victor increased the weight and power of the attack by intensifying the gravity as the serpents descended toward the frozen Duke Brightflame.
Boom
As soon as the serpents collided with the sculpture, it exploded, and Victor along with everyone else sensed the Duke’s life force vanish completely.
"Sigh..." Hilbert, seeing this, could not help but sigh as his decades-old enemy perished. There was also a hint of satisfaction in his complicated gaze.
"Huh?" Victor was suddenly stunned when he saw a new notification, and his eyes widened in disbelief.
[Ding Ding]

[As all members of the Brightflame family have been killed, you have conquered all the territories of the Brightflame Duchy.]
"Ah, this..." Victor was speechless as he thought, ’Don’t tell me they were already dead, and Blaze and the Duke were the only remaining members of the Brightflame Duchy.’
Victor was speechless as he could not find any other explanation. He was stupefied by the Duke’s decision. If his son was the last of the Brightflame bloodline besides himself, he should not have brought him to the battlefield. If he were the Duke, he would have locked his son safely inside the Duchy with a strong army guarding him, created a harem of beautiful women for him, and made sure the only thing he had to do was produce heirs to secure the Brightflame bloodline.
He then opened his Territory Panel.

"Even though the population has increased, it’s still a long way off before I can turn Silver City into the Silvernum Kingdom," Victor muttered with a sigh as he recalled the conditions he had learned from some of the players who had managed to create kingdoms in their previous lives, mostly guild leaders.
First of all, the player or NPC needed to have a minimum of 3,000 km² of land under their rule that had been recognized by the Records. Second, and perhaps the most difficult requirement in the early stages, was to have at least five Tier 4 players or NPCs under the player’s command who were one hundred percent loyal to the prospective king. The last requirement was to have a population of two million along with an army of one million soldiers.
While Victor was reminiscing, everyone else, especially every single member of the Hall Duchy, received a new notification.
Hilbert’s, Rina’s, and Emily’s expressions changed immediately when they saw the notification, and their eyes nearly bulged out.
[Ding Dong]
[The Brightflame Duchy has been conquered by Victor Silvernum.]
[The Brightflame Duchy has been absorbed into the Silvernum Territory.]
[Victor Silvernum has renamed the Brightflame Duchy to City of Dawn.]
[City of Dawn’s stance has been set to Neutral.]
’Heavens... that bastard’s entire bloodline has been wiped out... Holy shit.’ Hilbert cried inwardly before turning stiffly to look at Victor, who closed his window and looked at them with a smile.
Rina regained her composure, and her expression brightened. There was a hint of excitement in her gaze as she walked toward Victor and said, "Congratulations, Victor, on conquering the Brightflame Duchy."
"Thank you," Victor said with a smile.
Amber, who heard this, had a question mark over her head and asked, "What are you talking about?"
"I just conquered the Brightflame Duchy. It seems that idiot Duke and his son were the last members of the Brightflame bloodline," Victor said with a smirk as Amber’s mouth hung open.
"Congratulations, dear," Amber said with a smile after recovering from the unexpected news.
"Cough..." Everyone’s attention turned toward Hilbert, who walked forward and coughed to get their attention.
"I would like to thank you again for your help, Baron... no, I should call you Duke now," Hilbert said with a smile.
"It’s fine. I gave my word to Rina and Eleanor," Victor said with a smile, causing Rina to blush slightly.
"I would like to invite you to stay in the Hall Duchy for a few days. After I clean up this mess, we can have a proper chat, if that’s okay with you," Hilbert said.
"That’s fine, Duke Hall," Victor replied, and then a maid led Victor and Amber to their room.
