Chapter 1902: Chapter 1717: The Person in the Coffin!

In the Cosmic Edge, Spiritual Energy is scarce and the Dao is far beyond reach, yielding few individuals of supreme status. The strongest among them is named Divine Desolate Venerable, a Third Layer Heaven Great Power, who has been the only such great power in this vast desolate region for three hundred thousand years.

Ultimately, this singular great power was alarmed and rushed forward, only to find himself shockingly unable to catch up to the ancient coffin, with the gap between them growing ever wider—unbelievable.

After all, he was an ancient great power, albeit only at the Third Layer Heaven. Despite that, he was considered a top-tier figure across the Ancient Universe, yet unexpectedly couldn’t keep up.

Upon the second encounter, Divine Desolate Venerable circled through other star domains, only to find, upon drawing closer, that this mysterious ancient coffin seemed to sense his approach. It then emitted light and possessed a strange and evil absorbing power that could draw out his Divine Power for consumption.

Had it not been for the considerable distance and timely realization, he believed he might have been sucked dry by the evil ancient coffin.

After this, he kept away from the ancient coffin and commanded everyone to maintain a safe distance from it, forbidding them to approach.

The mysterious ancient coffin continued traveling through star domains, steadily pilfering the starlight power of the Heavenly Stars.

It even occasionally dove into the utmost fringe territory, where the Ancient Universe ends—a boundless desolation with few stars, filled with violent Chaos Qi, not pure Chaos Ancient Energy but a mix of various violent forces, terrifying even to great powers unwilling to easily tread there.

Yet the mysterious ancient coffin, upon entering, consumed all the destructive Chaos Qi, transforming into a vast storm, shaking the starry sky and astonishing many.

After several months, all movement subsided, with the ancient coffin perched motionless in the desolate fringe territory.

During this period, numerous powers emerged from various stars, rushing toward the coffin’s location, thinking the previously perilous and now silent fringe territory must harbor supreme treasure within the coffin, given its influence that even the powerful Divine Desolate Venerable dared not approach lightly.

Despite warnings from Divine Desolate Venerable about possible supreme evil within the coffin, greed drove many to surround it, discussing plans to open it and reveal its supposed treasures.

No matter the attacks from strong figures, Divine Skills, or Daoist Soldiers, the mysterious ancient coffin remained unopened.

Adding to the horror, all Divine Ability attacks vanished into the coffin, absorbed completely.

Similarly, any Daoist Soldiers and Magic Artifacts nearing the coffin turned instantly into scrap, drained of Divinity, leaving many distressed yet increasingly wary of this mysterious ancient coffin.

After exhausting all efforts but still unable to open the coffin, the various strong figures were left helpless.

At that moment, several powerful figures appeared in the starry sky, traversing the void—the formidable Heavenly Kings.

Heavenly Kings, renowned figures of the fringe regions, commanded immediate respect from all present, who dared not show negligence.

"Honored Heavenly Kings, this ancient coffin is extraordinary. We suspect it holds supreme treasure, yet none of us can open it."

The Heavenly Kings, quite arrogant, scrutinized the mysterious ancient coffin, but after attempts to open it similarly failed, it was only upon blood sacrifice that the mysterious coffin emitted light, flinging the lid away.

All were surprised, not expecting the coffin to open in such a manner.

What stunned them, however, was discovering a smaller ancient coffin inside upon opening.

Witnessing this, the Heavenly Kings collectively blanched, recalling certain legends. They closely studied the once-flung lid before quickly departing as fast as possible.

Seeing them leave, the gathered strong figures realized something significant, hurriedly following suit. Once a safe distance was achieved, one Saint Master Level figure couldn’t contain his curiosity and inquired, "May I ask, honored Heavenly King, what is the origin of this coffin?"

The Heavenly King solemnly replied, "Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin!"

"Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin?"

Everyone exchanged bewildered looks, evidently puzzled by what it meant.

"In the realm of existence, two types of ancient coffins are most feared—one being the Divine Nine-layered Coffin, which entombs emperors, kings, or supreme immortals," the Heavenly King elaborated, "and the other being this Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin. Although it doesn’t match the Divine Nine-layered Coffin, those buried within are at least cosmic dominators like ancient monarchs."

"Although any ancient monarch buried within has perished, a starved camel still surpasses a horse—the heroic spirit of an ancient monarch must not be provoked, for disturbing them could instigate a curse of destruction upon all life."

The strong figures were astounded, never expecting the mysterious coffin to have such monumental origins. Merely thinking back on their repeated attacks with Divine Power and Daoist Soldiers left them shivering.

If they had indeed disrupted the presence within the Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin, chances were they would have to join the funeral rites.

"Fortunately, not all coffins were opened, else the calamity would have been great," a Heavenly King sighed in relief.

Just then, a clanging sound was audible, causing everyone, including the Heavenly Kings, to shiver.

For the sound emerged from the direction of the Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin.

Stiffly turning their heads to look, gazing fixedly at the coffin, they watched as a lid was flung with no external force.

"Could it be—"

The strong figures gasped, soon watching as each successive lid flew off the Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin, every flight causing a collective jolt among them.

Soon, accompanied by another clang, the Fifth Layer lid flew of its own accord.

With only the final lid remaining, could an ancient monarch’s corpse strife, unleashing havoc across this starry sky?

Yet without hearing another lid’s sound, they watched as a vague silhouette rose slowly, its sudden appearance causing the hair of every being present to stand on end, eyes widened in terror.

Though puzzled why the Fifth Layer, not the Sixth Layer, was opened, time for thought was gone—every figure, Heavenly Kings included, fled skyward, intent on alerting Divine Desolate Venerable about the impending disaster.

Simultaneously, within the Reincarnation Six-layer Coffin, a figure gradually stood, hair cascading, eyes shining like stars, with a faint crescent Moon Seal upon its brow.
