*Roar!*

Suddenly, at this moment, a deafening cry sounded in the distance, alarming the blue clad youth.

He slowly opened his eyes and stood up, looking into the direction of the roar.

The origin of this roar is definitely not from at least ten miles around here, and I doubt a normal animal’s roar can be heard more than ten miles away.

With the exceptional vision and other senses of an Innate Realm cultivator, he could see as far as a hundred miles without using Divine Sense. As he looked into the distance, his gaze landed on a horrific, palpable scene.

Tens of thousands of Demon Beasts gathered in one place, with the majority of them being in the Qi Condensation Realm and Foundation Establishment Realm, while a few hundred were in the Acquired Realm. There were even a few Innate Realm ones.

Seeing this scene, his eyes narrowed slightly as a look of coldness flashed across his face.

"It seems a Demon Beast Tide has been triggered here. If that’s the case, then there must be other cultivators nearby too." He calmly said to himself, placing his right hand on the sword hilt resting at his waist.

Immediately, he leaped up into the air, not using any Spiritual Energy at all!

He didn’t fly, instead, he ran towards the direction of the Demon Beast Tide, crossing hundreds of feet with each step he took.

He wasn’t using any Spiritual Energy, but just relying on his physical body to do this!

This was an Immortal Cultivator!

Even without the use of Spiritual Energy, an Immortal Cultivator’s physical body itself would be very powerful.

A single punch without the enhancement of Spiritual Energy could still shatter mountains and divide seas.

Not to mention, a Innate Realm cultivator’s body was impenetrable by Rank-2 and even some Rank-3 Dharma Artifacts. Acquired Realm cultivators could barely match up to them with the usage of Spiritual Energy, and that too was in the condition that the other party wasn’t using any Spiritual Energy.

Of course there were exceptions to this too.

But the one truth that cannot be denied was, a true Immortal Cultivator was a powerhouse in all aspects, an all-rounder.

There were only some cultivators who decided to increase their other attributes and only focus on them, for example, a Body Cultivator.

Being a Body Cultivator didn’t mean they didn’t cultivate any cultivation technique or had no Spiritual Energy, they were also just like the rest, except for the fact that a Body Cultivator’s physical body was generally more powerful than normal cultivators. They mostly focused on cultivating close range and melee combat techniques.

Although the blue clad youth wasn’t a Body Cultivator, being an Innate Realm cultivator, he still had impressive physical stats and could run a hundred miles in a matter of minutes without the use of any Spiritual Energy.

The reason why he didn’t use any Spiritual Energy was because he was confident that he could fight against opponents of the same realm relying only on his physical body and strength. At most, he’ll use a bit Spiritual Energy without using combat techniques.

With these things in mind, he quickly sped up, his foot barely touching the ground as he ran.

Meanwhile, a few moments ago, on the side of the Demon Beast Tide.

Multiple figures gathered in the sky, some floating without the support of any Dharma Artifact while the rest stood on their flying swords as they looked at the myriads of Demon Beasts before them.

"Amitabha, so this is the Demon Beast Tide that happens in this area once every 300 years I’ve heard so much about...such a great number of Demon Beasts gathering together like this, with quite a few of them being Innate Realm powerhouses and attacking the cultivation world, truly terrifying." Said a young, bald monk looking to be in his mid twenties, wearing a saffron colored Kasaya which emanated powerful aura, indicating that it was a Dharma Artifact.

He was called Zheng Yong, the eldest disciple of the Little Zen Temple located at the mointain border of the Qingyun Region.

He had a calm expression on his face, his eyes closed with his lips curved upwards slightly and tone of voice even. It was an expression of peace and tranquility, as if not even the greatest of calamities could do anything to him.

"You need not fret, as we also have quite a few capable Innate Realm experts with us, including you yourself, fellow daoist Zheng." Another man who seemed to be in his thirties spoke up, wearing a loose white robe.

At this moment, a cultivator standing on his flying sword suddenly asked, "Senior Zheng, are there no Demon Beast Tides around the Little Zen Temple?"

All the other people around them also looked at Zheng Yong curiously.

Zheng Yong just shook his head slightly and said, "There are indeed no Demon Beast Tides around my Little Zen Temple as it’s located in quite an isolated area."

Stopping for a moment, he continued, "But I’ll be glad to slay the Demon Beasts here and free them of their accursed form, granting them the right to reincarnate. It truly will be a great merit for everyone present here."

Everyone present nodded and expressed their opinions, chatting casually.

More and more cultivators began to gather around, forming a strong force of more than a thousand cultivators in varying groups. The weakest among them were in the Foundation Establishment Realm, while the majority were the Acquired Realm ones.

There were less than 10 Innate Realm cultivators present, including the Zheng Yong and the man in the loose white robe.

Some time later, just as they were all talking about battle strategies, a deafening roar was heard from the multitude of Demon Beasts.

*Roar!*

They immediately turned their attention to the direction of the sound, all of them turning quiet.

"Fellow daoists, be careful. It’s beginning." One of the Innate Realm cultivators said in a sharp voice, grabbing the hilt of his greatsword resting on his back, which seemed to be a Dharma Artifact of at least Rank-3.

All the others started to prepare as well, exchanging glances and a few words to eachother.

No matter how weak the powerful Innate Realm cultivators said these Demon Beasts were, they were only weak in front of the strong. But for the weaker Foundation Establishment Realm and Acquired Realm cultivators, this fight was no different than a life or death battle.

In the end, they had to rely on themselves. If they faced an enemy who was multiple minor realms higher than their own, they could only wait for death.

That’s why the weaker cultivators started to form groups ranging from 10 to 30 people each and reminded themselves not to scatter around but move together, if they wanted to survive, that is.

The next moment, all hell broke loose as both sides rushed forward.

*Clang!*

*Swoosh!*

*Bang!*

*Boom!*

Various sounds echoed throughout the battlefield as the Immortal Cultivators and Demon Beasts collided, making the event look like a mythological war between the human gods and demonic deities inscribed in the ancient records.

The insurmountable might of both parties caused destruction and wrecked havoc all across the landscape. Ground collapsed and earth trembled, mountains flattened and rivers split open.

Powerful spells, divine arts, and heavenly techniques were used constantly by the Immortal Cultivators to suppress their opponents, while the primal instincts of the mindless Demon Beasts allowed them to fight till their last breath without caring for any injuries or pain.

All of this, when the main players of the game, the Innate Realm powers, hadn’t even intervened yet!

The Innate Realm cultivators watched behind closely, searching for any misconceptions and being on high alert to avoid getting sneak attacked, although they highly doubted that Demon Beasts, even of the Innate Realm, possessed the ability to launch a sneak attack on them.

At this moment!

Right from the frontlines, an entire mountain nearly a thousand feet tall with a crushing weight and even Demonic Energy surrounding it was thrown onto them!

With that powerful of a Demonic Energy, that mountain could easily crush even Acquired Realm cultivators!

Not just that, it’s speed was incredibly fast too, surpassing the momentum of the mid stages of Innate Realm!

All the Innate Realm cultivators present instantly used their own respective Dharma Artifacts and attacked the mountain, intending to destroy it with sheer force without any hesitation.

*BANG!*

A loud sound echoed throughout the land as their combined attacks landed on the mountain, smoke rising as the skies turned dark due to so many Innate Realm experts taking action all of a sudden.

However, immediately afterwards, Zheng Yong felt a pressure descending down from the heavens like supreme heavenly might and looked up only to find the mountain still falling down, completely intact.

"The Demonic Energy surrounding it is too strong; we’re no match at all!" He shouted, his expression changing drastically.

Just as they were about to dodge, three more towering mountains descended from all directions, and with the mountains’ descending speed surpassing their own, they were left with no escape.

This is truly unexpected...!

All the other cultivators’ expressions also changed, reflecting surprise, anger, and then finally fear.

*Whoosh!*

At this instance, they all felt as if something extremely fast passed by them towards the falling mountain.

They only heard someone mutter in a deep voice, for what seemed like the name of a Sword Technique.

"Sword Immortal Descending From The High Heavens."

*Swoosh!*

*Boom!*

And the next moment, an explosion sound rang throughout the battlefield. The Innate Realm cultivators, their expression full of surprise and hidden joy looked up to see the back of a young man clad in blue facing them.

In front of him, the descending mountain had already been cut into two. Seeing this, all of them quickly escaped to the front and avoided the other three mountains falling.

At this moment, the tanned young man in front of them, with an expressionless face, truly looked like a descended Sword Immortal from the high heavens.
