When Yang Wei were to learn that his own blood related family killed him in his past life, would he still go back to them?

He probably didn’t know much about his origins right now from what Tian Yongheng concluded.

However, when he will come to know of them later on, there is a chance he will be swayed by familial ties and won’t be able to move forward on the path to immortality.

This was why asking this question was necessary. Tian Yongheng would never accept a disciple who did not whole heartedly want to pursue a certain goal.

Yan Jingfei’s goal was to protect the people around her and ascend to immortality, while Lu Qingfeng’s goal was immortality as well. Liu Ruoxue’s goal was to avenge her brother and become a supreme existence, while Jian Qi’s goal was to reach the apex of the Sword Dao. They each had their own goals, and Tian Yongheng’s existence just made it much easier for them to pursue their goals.

If Yang Wei’s heart was not with his goal, his Dao Heart won’t be strong enough and be the cause of his downfall.

If Tian Yongheng accepted him as his disciple, he had to take responsibility for him as well and prevent his disciple’s path from being severed.

Hearing the question and then Zhou Yi’s answer, Yang Wei fell into deep thought.

He didn’t answer as quickly as Zhou Yi and needed some more time.

What does the Peak Master mean by this?

Does he know something about my background?

Or is he testing me?

Countless thoughts ran through his mind as he searched for the answer to this question which Tian Yongheng had asked him.

After a few seconds, he finally spoke up.

"I will not. My path is what matters to me. Anything or everything that obstructs me in my path to immortality will be destroyed by me, by pure force if it comes down to it."

His eyes were filled with determination as his resolute words fell, making Zhou Yi look at him with a raised eyebrow.

This kid sure knows how to act in a situation.

Zhou Yi thought silently.

Hearing his answer, Tian Yongheng nodded slightly before speaking.

"Very well then. However, the day you break these words of yours will be the day you will no longer remain my or the Eternal Peak’s disciple."

His voice was calm, but carried a trace of warning within.

However, Yang Wei was more stunned at the way Tian Yongheng addressed him.

Without thinking any further, he knelt down and kowtowed before exclaiming, "Disciple greets master!"

All contradictory thoughts of his vanished in an instant and instead, he was filled with an overwhelming feeling of happiness.

Now, I have greater chances of ascending to immortality!

He thought happily.

Tian Yongheng raised his hand slightly, the invisible Spiritual Energy lifting Yang Wei up.

Yang Wei looked at him with admiration, his fists cupped.

Turning his gaze to Zhou Yi’s floating remnant soul, Tian Yongheng spoke calmly, "Go and cultivate under the Bodhi Wisdom Tree. It’ll help both of you greatly. Don’t be in a rush to get back your physical body."

Zhou Yi was stunned at first but then quickly nodded and went back inside of Yang Wei’s Storage Ring.

Tian Yongheng then looked at Yang Wei again before speaking, "You should go and introduce yourself to your seniors as well. I will inform them about you. Come and see me again after that."

Saying all of this, he closed his eyes and waved his hand dismissively.

Yang Wei didn’t say any longer and went out of the cave abode to introduce himself to the others.

Tian Yongheng had already informed all those who needed to know about Yang Wei becoming his fifth disciple, including Lu Qingfeng, through the Symphony of Infinite Distance.

Every core member of the Eternal Peak had learned this Divine Power, even Zhao Ye, so it wasn’t difficult to communicate amongst themselves.

So I’ve finally accepted a future Immortal Emperor as my disciple, huh...

Tian Yongheng couldn’t help but sigh faintly as he thought of that.

He still didn’t know what realms Immortal Emperor and Immortal Sovereign represented, but he was sure that these were probably big shots in the Upper Realm.

After all, there was no way a common realm would have ’Emperor’ in its name.

Perhaps Immortal Emperors were above all Immortals and Gods, ruling over the Upper Realm, and Immortal Sovereigns were similar to the dukes and marquises serving the Emperor.

He didn’t really have an idea of what the Nine Great Immortal Worlds of the Upper Realm were like and how they were divided, all was but pure assumption.

At this point, Tian Yongheng finally opened his eyes and looked at the Celestial Orb of Heaven and Earth floating before him.

Right now, he was watching the reincarnated Tian Hai, who had already reincarnated over 2 or more times in the past 100 or so years.

Tian Yongheng only knew of this from the time frame, as he had not really personally witnessed Tian Hai’s past reincarnations, and just started watching him in this current one.

In this reincarnation, Tian Hai was born as the second prince of a mortal dynasty, and although Tian Yongheng couldn’t figure out where was he reborn, he could guess that it was still a world related to Immortal Cultivation from traces of Immortal Cultivators, and concluded that Tian Hai had just not yet come into contact with them.

If he could reincarnate into the Second Great Mortal World of the Lower Realm from the Myriad Worlds, then Tian Hai could surely reincarnate into the Myriad Worlds or any other Great Mortal World in the Lower Realm.

Right now, Tian Hai was just 15 years old, yet there had already been 2 assassination attempts on him.

It may have been because he had good karma that he was able to reincarnate as a prince, but because of his great mentality he had shown since young, he had become a threat to the crown prince or his older half brother.

Tian Yongheng felt that Tian Hai might not be able to survive till 20 years of age if things went on as they were now. Even if he survived, he might be exiled after the crown prince ascended the throne.

Although this world had Martial Arts as well, they weren’t as strong as in the Second Great Mortal World, and the strongest Martial Artist Tian Hai had come into contact with was only comparable to a Immortal Cultivator at the Third Level of Acupoint Opening Stage or a peak Third-Rate Martial Artist in the Second Great Mortal World.

Thus, Tian Hai had no hopes for gaining strength to resist thousands of people unless he came into contact with Immortal Cultivation, which was an extremely difficult task.

However, Tian Yongheng couldn’t do anything even if he wanted to.

He didn’t even know which world this was, let alone the exact location of the mortal dynasty where Tian Hai was at.

Perhaps this is related to my cultivation. After all, the Tribulation Transcendence Realm is not enough to go beyond the barrier of the Second Great Mortal World.

If I breakthrough to the Immortal Ascension Realm or beyond, only then will I have the chance to intervene beyond the mortal world.

As he was thinking of this, another thought struck his mind.

I wonder if the Nine Great Mortal Worlds are the only worlds in the Lower Realm and the Nine Great Immortal Worlds the only worlds in the Upper Realm?

There should be other worlds...but they weren’t recorded in the ancient scripts.

As he pondered over this, he probed the Celestial Orb of Heaven and Earth with his Divine Sense and the scenery within the orb changed in an instant.

He had just switched from Tian Hai to Pei Shuanzhen.

Pei Shuanzhen, the bearer of the Immortal Isolation Curse, was a Perfected Immortal Ascension Realm Great Elder of the Grand Sun Sect who died by Tian Yongheng’s hands some time ago.

Before his death, Tian Yongheng placed a Dao Mark on his soul and he could now also watch his reincarnations through the Celestial Orb of Heaven and Earth.

In the scene depicted inside of the orb, a young man, seemingly in his late twenties, was sparring against multiple people at the same time in a 100 meter big arena, which was surrounded by a protective Array Formation.

Outside of the arena, rows of people sat and stood in a colosseum like structure while a few people maintained the Array Formation on all directions of the arena.

Tian Yongheng was surprised to see that the young man fighting, Pei Shuanzhen, was already an Immortal Cultivator, and that too at the peak of Acupoint Opening Stage.

This fellow came into contact with Immortal Cultivation this quickly after reincarnating for the first time?

He couldn’t help but be even more astonished before he realized that Pei Shuanzhen was born into a Foundation Establishment Realm cultivation family which was a part of an Acquired Realm cultivation faction.

Despite having the Immortal Isolation Curse, his Providence is still pretty great.
