This fellow...shouldn’t he heal his body first? And most importantly, how does he know who I am?

Tian Yongheng couldn’t help but think this way before nodding slightly and replying, "Yes, how did you know?"

He asked calmly in that same indifferent tone of voice, not using any honorifics but still appearing polite on the outside.

"It was just a random guess, I didn’t expect it to be really true!" Yun Jiang exclaimed in a little bit of shock.

Originally, he had heard rumors that the Master of Eternal Peak was very good looking and powerful.

Although he had never personally witnessed him taking action before, he guessed that he must be very strong to have nearly the same amount of reputation as the Turquoise Lake Swordmaster in the Qingyun Region.

As for knowing how he looked like...

"Ah, I heard that the Master of Eternal Peak was very handsome. Seeing senior’s extraordinary appearance, I had an hunch that you may be the Master of Eternal Peak!" Yun Jiang said enthusiastically.

Hearing his words, Yan Jingfei and the others had strange expressions on their faces.

"I see. Then, why were you searching for me, young master Yun?" Tian Yongheng asked.

"It’s nothing too special. I was just hoping to exchange a few moves with senior."

Tian Yongheng couldn’t help but be stunned inwardly as soon as he heard that.

Didn’t you just get beat up? And you still want more?

He suppressed these thoughts and shook his head slightly, "Young master Yun is still injured from your previous spar with fellow daoist Zhao here, you should recover first. And I have to go back to the Eternal Peak soon. Let’s spar sometime later." He said, his tone of voice serene.

As soon as he said this, his Spiritual Energy immediately wrapped around both him and Yan Jingfei before taking off into the air to avoid any further conversation.

"Alright then, senior. I’ll come to the Eternal Peak in the next few decades!"

Surprisingly, Yun Jiang did not persist on fighting with Tian Yongheng and just agreed with him.

He actually had pills and other medicinal ingredients which could help him recover in just a day or two’s worth of time, but after hearing that Tian Yongheng had some work to do, he decided to put this matter aside and focus on exploring the Qingyun Region first.

He’ll meet plenty of strong opponents in this period of time too. He could just go to the Eternal Peak anytime to challenge Tian Yongheng now that they had met.

Yun Jiang was quite an extroverted person with a unwavering will, but he was still more than a thousand years old and not a stubborn child. So he didn’t dwell on it any longer.

Tian Yongheng nodded slightly at him before taking off with Yan Jingfei.

The reason he so hastily left was because he did not want to get involved with any of the major factions, at least not until he was strong enough.

He quickly flew at an incredibly high speed, traversing tens of thousands of miles in an hour.

During this time, Yan Jingfei and him talked about quite a lot of things, and Tian Yongheng cleared a lot of doubts that she had.

He only stopped after reaching the Eternal Peak.

Both Tian Yongheng and Yan Jingfei landed at the summit where his cave abode was at.

"Then, master, I’m going to cultivate in seclusion till I breakthrough to the Eighth Stage of Innate Realm." Yan Jingfei said respectfully, cupping her fists.

She had already broken through to the Sixth Stage of Innate Realm back in the Turquoise Lake Sword Manor, and would probably take around 10 years to breakthrough to the Seventh Stage of Innate Realm since it was a bottleneck.

Usually, it would’ve taken a normal cultivator around a hundred years to breakthrough such a bottleneck.

And even geniuses below the level or Chosen Ones would’ve taken around 20 to 30 years at the very least.

However, Yan Jingfei already had a foundation from her past life, so she could break through this fast.

Tian Yongheng nodded at Yan Jingfei, speaking slowly, "After you enter the Golden Core Realm, come see me. I’ll impart to you a sword art."

Hearing his words, Yan Jingfei instantly became excited.

A sword art imparted by master can’t be simple!

Her eyes gleamed, and she nodded fervently.

Tian Yongheng raised his hand, dismissing her as he went back to his own cave abode.

Yan Jingfei also went back to her own daoist temple at the foot of the majestically tall mountain.

It hadn’t been long since Tian Yongheng left the Eternal Peak, so it hadn’t really changed much in these past few years at all.

Despite that, he still felt quite nostalgic, a sense of malencholy rising in his heart as he sat at the cultivation mat in his cave abode.

This was his only home left in this world now, after all.

He patted the cultivation mat below. It was a Rank-3 Dharma Artifact, a milky white mat made of the Natural Spring Silk, very comfortable for sitting in a place for long periods of time. It also emanated a faint, white glow in the dark.

He had received this mat as a gift from one of the surrounding factions.

He ran his gaze through the entire cave abode.

It wasn’t just this mat, there were also many other things here which were either given to him by people to establish good connections or traded for resources that the Eternal Peak possessed.

Unknowingly, the Eternal Peak was already recognized as a Golden Core Realm power in the eyes of the Qingyun Region, the only Golden Core Realm power around this area.

Initially, it was only a rumor. But after the many events that happened, and with Tian Yongheng not saying anything against such claims, it was deemed as true.

Now, all the powers around here wanted to be on good terms with the Eternal Peak for their own survival and prosperity.

This all happened before Tian Yongheng even left the Eternal Peak to visit the Turquoise Lake Sword Manor, so he couldn’t do anything about it as of now.

Maybe it was a good thing, since with the status of a strong Golden Core Realm faction, no one would easily offend the Eternal Peak, at least not in the Qingyun Region.

Sighing softly, he closed his eyes and immersed himself into cultivation.

The goal was Void Refinement Realm!

...

Meanwhile, on a snowy mountain surrounded by other mountains and forests, multiple figures could be seen flying at incredible speeds, more than 10 other people chasing after them from behind.

It was winter, and the air was cold, the terrain filled with snow and chilly auras.

At this moment, the temperature suddenly rose to a great degree all of a sudden.

A red flame rose from the snow covered mountains, and crashed down onto the 10 or so people chasing behind the other group.

However, the next moment, the smoke instantly disappeared and the people the flames landed on were completely unscathed.

In the group that was being chased by them, a young man wearing a purple robe showed a slight frown, emanating a potent aura of Yang Energy.

He was none other than Lu Qingfeng!

Besides Lu Qingfeng were 3 more people, 2 women and a man.

The women, looking to be in their mid twenties, were exceptionally beautiful, with clear, jade like skin and long flowing hair.

The man was a little taller than average, but he emanated a powerful aura from deep within, wearing a long, yellow robe with a spear in his hand, like a fierce war god who had descended from the heavens.

The man turned around and flew high into the air, aiming the spear at the group following behind them, and shot out with all his might.

*Whoom!*

A terrifying roar sounded from the spear as it tore through the air and headed towards the group, directly aiming for the head of one of the people in the group.

*Bang!*

But before it could land, a flying sword appeared out of nowhere and blocked it, causing a loud sound to echo through the vast snowy mountains and the forests.

The flying sword and the spear quickly clashed with eachother, sending shockwaves throughout the land.

The man floating in the air clad in yellow controlled the spear, his Spear Intent bursting forth.

*Boom!*

The other Sword Cultivator’s Sword Intent collided with the yellow clad man’s Spear Intent, causing a loud boom.

At this moment, Lu Qingfeng also flew up high into the air, three miniature suns forming atop his head radiating intense Yang Spiritual Energy, seemingly about to burn down everything.

Celestial Swords condensed around him, continously swirling around.

The yellow clad man’s Spear Intent also reached an unprecedented height, suppressing everyone down the mountain.

His opponent’s Sword Intent instantly dispersed upon contact, the sword shattering into countless pieces.
