Chapter 85: Chapter 9: Soul Magic Mirror! Ivsha, Now It’s My Turn

"Okay."

And so, they soon arrived at Yerman’s family castle.

"Mr. Su Xuan! Your timing is perfect. We were just about to have dinner. Would you like to join us?"

Seeing Su Xuan, Natasha immediately invited him to dinner.

Su Xuan glanced over and saw that only Roxia and Natasha were in the dining room. Despite this, the spread of food was incredibly rich, looking more like a luxurious banquet.

"Just the two of you for dinner?" Su Xuan asked.

"The other members of the clan have families of their own," Roxia replied calmly.

Her tone held a peculiar emotion, and her gaze shifted to Rosaline, who stood beside Su Xuan.

"Do you want to come home for dinner every night?" Su Xuan leaned close to Rosaline’s ear and whispered.

"Am I able to?"

"Oh, that’s right."

Su Xuan turned back to Natasha and the others with a smile. "In that case, I’d be happy to join you."

After they were seated, Natasha immediately brought tableware for the two of them and asked, "And what about Ms. Ivsha?"

"Ivsha couldn’t make it this time. She’s feeling a little under the weather," Su Xuan replied.

’It was true that Ivsha was feeling a little unwell—because she’d eaten way too much!’

"Oh, is that so? In that case, Mr. Su Xuan, you should have some more. Please, try what I’ve made."

Natasha smiled as she poured Su Xuan a glass of fine wine.

Su Xuan was a bit taken aback by her warm hospitality.

"Oh, by the way, Mr. Su Xuan... about that matter we discussed before..." Natasha suddenly asked, her beautiful eyes glancing toward Rosaline, who was sitting quietly to one side.

She was, of course, asking how to break Roxia’s Curse.

"Rosaline, why don’t you tell them about the Curse," Su Xuan directed.

Rosaline gave a slight nod, then slowly removed her helmet.

The familiar face appeared before Roxia and Natasha once more, making their hearts tremble. This was the first time they were seeing Rosaline since she had regained her memories, the first time they were hearing her voice after so long!

"Aunt Rosaline..."

"It’s been a long time, Natasha, Roxia."

Rosaline offered a brief greeting before getting straight to the point. "We did, in fact, learn how to break Roxia’s Curse. While curing it completely is extremely difficult, simply suppressing it isn’t a major issue. All it takes is a combination of a few herbs and bathing three times a day. That will reduce the Curse’s effects to a minimum."

She looked at Roxia and continued, "Roxia, this Curse isn’t as dangerous as you think. At most, it can only attract Demons within a radius of a few kilometers. It’s practically impossible for it to cause a massive beast tide."

"Auntie, are you saying my Curse didn’t cause this beast tide?" Roxia frowned upon hearing this.

"That’s right." Rosaline nodded. "Your Curse was just a catalyst. The true cause of the beast tide lies deep beneath Sunset City!"

Roxia and Natasha both looked stunned.

’The Curse they had been so worried about was merely a trigger?’

"Natasha, does your Guardian Clan have any records of something hidden beneath Sunset City?" Su Xuan asked.

’Logically, something that important should have been recorded.’

Natasha shook her head, as she was also in the dark. "I’m not entirely sure," she said. "The Guardian Clan fell into decline a century ago. The books were sealed away, and the Sunset City Lord took most of them." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

Then she seemed to recall something and added, "Perhaps you can find the answer you’re looking for in the Guardian Clan’s attic. I can take you there, Mr. Su Xuan!"

"Great. Let’s go right after we finish eating."

"I’ll come help," Roxia offered.

Natasha gently refused Roxia’s offer with a smile. "There isn’t much in the attic. You two should stay here and catch up. Roxia, it’s been a long time since you’ve seen your aunt, hasn’t it?"

"..." Roxia didn’t answer, merely nodding. Her turquoise eyes gazed at Rosaline, filled with unspoken words.

After dinner, Su Xuan followed Natasha to the Guardian Clan’s attic.

As the Guardian Clan had long since fallen into decline, the family castle felt deserted and desolate. Most of the remaining belongings had been tossed into the attic.

Su Xuan followed Natasha up a winding spiral staircase.

Along the way, Natasha asked quietly, "Mr. Su Xuan, have you... done something recently?"

"Why do you ask?"

Su Xuan asked, puzzled.

At that moment, Natasha turned to face him. The candlelight reflected in her eyes, making them breathtakingly alluring.

She smiled. "It’s nothing. I just think you’ve become more and more charming lately."

Su Xuan fell silent. ’Could this be because of my [Succubus Physique] entry?’ a thought flashed through his mind.

"We’re here."

Having climbed the spiral staircase, they finally reached the attic at the very top of the tower.

Su Xuan scanned his surroundings. The attic was crammed with a jumble of furniture and books, making the space feel crowded.

However, one thing in particular caught his eye: a massive wooden chest. It was fastened with several locks, as if guarding something precious within.

Natasha strode gracefully toward the chest and crouched down slightly. As she did, her form-fitting skirt clung tightly to her skin, accentuating her full, curvaceous figure.

After opening the chest, she took out a book.

"This book might hold the answers you’re looking for. Let me see if I can find anything," Natasha said, flipping through the pages. But Su Xuan’s attention had been captured by another item in the chest.

It was a mirror, lying face-up, reflecting the attic’s ceiling.

’But what Su Xuan couldn’t understand was... why was Natasha’s reflection in the mirror?’

’Wasn’t Natasha standing right beside him?’

As the thought crossed his mind, a notification popped into Su Xuan’s view.

[Soul Magic Mirror (Epic): A mirror capable of sealing souls. Can only be used by the Guardian of the White Rose!]

"Mr. Su Xuan, I think I’ve found the clue you were looking for!"

Just then, Natasha’s voice cut in. Pointing at a passage in the book, she continued, "A long time ago, the Guardian Clans of the White Rose poured all their efforts into sealing a powerful Evil Demon in the deepest part of Sunset City. But that’s all it says. There’s no other information."

"Well, at least now we know what’s sealed in the depths of Sunset City," Su Xuan said with a smile.

But just as he finished speaking, Natasha’s voice sounded again. "Mr. Su Xuan, can we... do it here?"

"Huh? Natasha, what did you just say?"

Su Xuan was completely taken aback. He was baffled. Why would the normally prim and proper Natasha suddenly say something like that?

But in response to Su Xuan’s confusion, Natasha looked even more bewildered. "Mr. Su Xuan, I didn’t say anything."

’You didn’t say anything?’

Su Xuan’s brow furrowed. His gaze grew heavy as he looked at the mirror lying inside the chest.

And at that very moment, the ’Natasha’ in the mirror was flashing him a fawning smile...
