Chapter 218: Chapter 127: Forcing the Dragon Lady to Bathe! Unwilling? It’s Not Up to You!

An image surfaced in Su Xuan’s mind: a Vampire that glowed with a kaleidoscope of neon colors...

Hmm...

’Maybe I should think this over carefully.’

"By the way, there’s something I think I should tell you."

Lucia suddenly spoke up.

"What is it?"

"During our mission, we ran into a young woman who, like you, is a Guild President. She asked for our help hunting a High Level Demon Beast." As Lucia spoke, she glanced toward Rosaline. "Rosaline agreed to her request and successfully helped her hunt it down."

Su Xuan turned his gaze to Rosaline. He knew this ever-righteous Knight would do something like that.

"Mhm."

Rosaline nodded, then took a pair of pearl earrings from her pocket. "This was her thank-you gift to us."

Su Xuan’s gaze fell upon the pearl earrings.

[Pearl Earrings (Elite): An accessory that slightly increases Perception. Agility +20.]

"How strong was the Demon Beast you killed?" Su Xuan immediately asked.

"Quite powerful. It took me two sword strikes to kill it," Rosaline answered.

"..."

Su Xuan’s eyebrow twitched. He wished Rosaline wouldn’t say things that sounded so much like bragging with such a straight face.

Still, if it took Rosaline two strikes to kill the Demon Beast, then its Level had to be over 50.

"What about the other Adventurer’s strength?" Su Xuan pressed on.

"Weak. Very weak," Lucia replied softly.

"Mhm," Rosaline agreed with a nod. "Their Guild only had one Female Elf, and her strength was probably about the same as Roxia’s."

Their answers made Su Xuan frown slightly.

If the mission target was a Level 50+ Demon Beast, then the quest’s difficulty should have been at least D-Level, possibly even D+ Level.

However, judging by their description of the other Guild’s members, they were likely only E-Level in strength.

This reminded Su Xuan of that Player on the forums who kept getting quests that didn’t match her strength.

’Could it be her?’

Su Xuan remembered how many B-Level Guilds had tried to get in on the action back then, only to suffer heavy losses.

He’d heard that it took a B+ Level Player to resolve the crisis. But after that, no one was willing to help that Player so easily anymore.

"Alright, I understand." Su Xuan nodded lightly, silently committing the matter to memory.

Lucia, meanwhile, had been observing the changes in Su Xuan’s expression. She noticed a flash of surprise cross his face, but he quickly regained his composure.

From this, she deduced that not all Guild Presidents received strange quest assignments; it was just a special case.

This explained to her why a leaf from the Golden Tree had appeared in that girl’s hands.

Night soon fell, blanketing the entire sky.

Lucia and the others left the Guild one by one, their adventuring for the day complete.

Su Xuan was about to log out of the game and return to the real world to wash up, lest he start to stink.

Just then, Mare Rhine walked up to Su Xuan and asked, "Human, where am I to sleep?"

"You..."

Su Xuan fell silent for a moment. There were indeed spare rooms in the Guild, they just weren’t furnished with beds yet.

’Besides, do Giant Dragons even choose to sleep in beds when they rest?’

While Su Xuan was lost in thought, Mare Rhine strode into his room.

Then, she grumbled in dissatisfaction, "Human, your room is filled with a strange, musky scent."

"..."

"That’s my room," Su Xuan immediately reminded Mare Rhine.

"It’s mine now."

Mare Rhine leaped lightly and landed on Su Xuan’s small bed.

The moment she stood on it—BOOM!—with a loud crash, the entire bed collapsed instantly.

!?

Su Xuan stood frozen in place. His little bed had just borne a weight it should never have had to bear at its age!

’But that shouldn’t have happened!’

’That little wooden bed was more than strong enough to withstand the force of him punishing the Little Succubus, so why did it collapse the moment Mare Rhine stood on it?’

’Could it be that even in her human form, her weight is the same as when she’s a Giant Dragon?’

"Such poor quality."

Mare Rhine glanced around, sighing at the collapsed wooden bed.

Then, the scales on her body vanished, and in an instant, she transformed into a young woman with long, crimson hair.

Only a few Dragon Scales covered her private areas, but she didn’t seem to mind Su Xuan’s gaze in the slightest.

"Close the door. I’m going to sleep."

Mare Rhine lay down on the collapsed bed, hugging her dragon tail tightly like a pillow, and prepared to drift off to sleep.

The sight made Su Xuan’s brow furrow.

’That’s my bed!’

However, before he could even speak, he saw that Mare Rhine had already fallen quietly asleep.

"This girl..."

Su Xuan shook his head helplessly, walked over to Mare Rhine’s side, and fixed his gaze on her crimson dragon tail.

Because Naida was a Soul Body, this was the first time Su Xuan had ever seen a real Dragon-man’s tail.

The red scales on the tail had a vivid, layered texture. Each scale was engraved with minuscule runes that shimmered in the faint light.

With each of Mare Rhine’s steady breaths, the scales seemed to come alive, opening and closing slightly.

The sight made Su Xuan extremely curious.

He slowly extended a finger and gently touched one of the Dragon Scales. The sensation was uniquely silky, almost impossible to describe in words.

Under the touch of Su Xuan’s fingertip, the Dragon Scale seemed drawn to him, opening a slight gap and revealing the pink flesh of the tail beneath.

"How interesting," Su Xuan smiled with satisfaction. Whether in her human or Dragon form, Mare Rhine exuded a unique charm.

Just as he was about to touch it again, suddenly—!

Su Xuan observed the scales on Mare Rhine’s tail suddenly stand on end like a cat’s fur, bristling with hostility toward him. At the same time, a pair of crimson eyes were glaring at him furiously, as if they wanted to tear him to pieces.

’She’s awake!?’

Faced with this situation, Su Xuan said nonchalantly, "Go take a bath before you sleep. Don’t get my bed dirty."

"A bath?"

Mare Rhine was clearly confused by Su Xuan’s words; she couldn’t understand what he was talking about.

’Ridiculous!’

’Do Giant Dragons even need to bathe?’

"What, you haven’t bathed in nearly ten thousand years? How bad must you stink?" Su Xuan asked teasingly.

"Ignorant human! Blessed by the Power of Destruction, how could I possibly have an odor?" Mare Rhine said dismissively, her hands on her hips.

"So you haven’t bathed, then?" Not wanting to waste any more words, Su Xuan took Mare Rhine’s hand and said, "Come on, I’ll take you to the bath."

"Wait! Let go of me! I won’t do it!"

"AHHH!!!"
