Chapter 291: 11th Town, Making Things Public And The Next Day

[Town Alert]

[Hostile players have entered Genesis Town.]

[Town members are under attack.]

[Location: Eastern District]

Caelus’s expression shifted immediately, his relaxed posture becoming rigid as he processed the information.

Sylvia noticed the change and stepped closer. "What happened?"

He showed her the notification floating before his eyes, the red warning text reflecting in her crimson pupils.

"Someone is attacking Genesis."

Without wasting another second both of them broke into a sprint, their enhanced bodies carrying them across the town at incredible speed.

The players attacking Genesis belonged to another division of Shadow Halberd Guild, but they were not acting under Marcus Vale’s orders. They had come secretly on their own, driven by jealousy and greed.

Their captain had learned that Vale had begun secretly cooperating with Crimson Fang Guild, and the knowledge burned in his chest like poison. Vale was trying to monopolize the rewards, trying to earn favor with Crimson Fang by himself while leaving his own guild members with nothing.

Because of that jealousy they decided to attack Genesis first, believing they could earn contribution and take over the town before Vale could claim any credit. They would steal the opportunity right from under his nose.

They believed Genesis was just another weak beginner town, an easy target that would crumble at the first sign of real pressure.

That’s what they thought either way.

Caelus and Sylvia arrived at the Eastern District to find chaos spreading through the streets. Several Shadow Halberd members were attacking non players and frightening players, their weapons gleaming as they struck down anyone who resisted.

NPCs cowered behind overturned stalls while players retreated toward the residential district, none of them strong enough to fight back against the organized assault.

The Shadow Halberd captain stood in the center of the destruction laughing confidently, his sword dripping with blood as he surveyed his handiwork.

He was a burly man with scars across his face and cruel eyes that showed no mercy.

"This is what happens when beginner towns with no guild backing them forget their place," he declared loudly. "Genesis should simply surrender now and save everyone the trouble."

Another member laughed beside him. "Even if they survive today Crimson Fang Guild will eventually destroy them anyway, we’re just speeding up the process."

"Finished?"

Caelus calmly walked forward, his footsteps echoing across the suddenly quiet street.

Everyone turned toward the voice.

One Shadow Halberd member immediately recognized him and his face went rigid. "Caelus Kross..."

Before doing anything Caelus calmly opened the livestream function, the interface appearing before his eyes as he activated the broadcast.

Within seconds viewers began flooding into the stream, his recent popularity drawing massive attention. The viewer count climbed rapidly past ten thousand and showed no signs of stopping.

Comments exploded across the screen.

[Genesis is under attack?]

[Wait that’s Sylvia!]

[I’m recording this.]

The Shadow Halberd captain’s expression twisted with anger seeing the livestream activate. "You think a camera will save you?"

Caelus simply smiled.

The Ancient Dragon God manifested behind Caelus with a thunderous roar, the golden Fighting Spirit towering over the battlefield as lightning crackled across its scales.

Sylvia moved beside him with the Crimson Sovereign materializing at her back, the vampire Fighting Spirit radiating blood-red energy that made the air itself feel heavy.

The Shadow Halberd captain charged forward with his sword raised, clearly hoping to end the fight quickly before reinforcements could arrive.

Caelus didn’t even bother dodging.

The Ancient Dragon God’s massive arm swept forward and caught the captain mid-charge, golden claws wrapping around his body and stopping his momentum completely. The captain struggled desperately but couldn’t break free from the Fighting Spirit’s grip.

Three other Shadow Halberd members rushed toward Sylvia, believing she would be easier to defeat.

The Blood Sword construct tore through the air as Sylvia moved like flowing water, her blade trailing crimson light with every slash.

Lightning crackled along the edge of her weapon as she activated her Lightning Attribute, each strike carrying enough voltage to paralyze her opponents.

The first attacker fell before he could even raise his guard, Sylvia’s blade slicing through his defense and sending him crashing into a nearby wall. The second tried to flank her but the Crimson Sovereign moved independently, its massive claws sweeping him aside like a ragdoll.

The third hesitated for just a moment.

That moment cost him everything.

Sylvia closed the distance instantly and struck him across the chest, her strength launching him backward until he skidded across the stone street and stopped moving.

Meanwhile Caelus dealt with the remaining attackers using Telekinesis, invisible force grabbing them and slamming them into the ground before they could coordinate any kind of defense.

The Ancient Dragon God’s arms manifested into different weapons throughout the battle, golden claws becoming a massive hammer that crushed one attacker’s guard, then shifting into a spear that pinned another to the ground.

Their teamwork was seamless, Caelus handling the main threats while Sylvia covered his flanks and eliminated anyone who tried to escape.

Comments flooded the livestream throughout the battle.

[Their powers are insane.]

[No wonder they cleared Volcano Trial.]

[Genesis isn’t weak at all.]

[Shadow Halberd picked the wrong target. XD]

[Bro that Fighting Spirit is cheating. How do I get one, I hope Caelus Kross will soon upload a Tutorial Video]

[Tutorial Video? aren’t there like 5000 different ones out there?]

[Yeah, but I trust this guy more.]

[Sylvia is terrifying.]

[They’re getting cooked.]

The battle ended in less than two minutes, every Shadow Halberd member either unconscious or too injured to continue fighting.

Suddenly a special notification appeared across the stream.

[Congratulations! "MoonEmpress" has sent ×1 Super Origin Crown (10,000 Origin Credits)]

Comments immediately exploded.

[WHO DONATED THAT?]

[Ten thousand?!]

[Rich people scare me.]

[Wait... she donated because Sylvia is pretty didn’t she?]

[SIMP.]

[Worth it though.]

Sylvia noticed the donation and seeing that it was a girl, she thanked her with a playful smile.

Caelus simply ignored it.

Caelus lifted the Shadow Halberd captain into the air using the Ancient Dragon God’s grip, the man struggling desperately as golden claws tightened around his body.

"Can you say out loud what the Shadow Halberd Guild is doing against the Genesis for the live watchers?"

The captain spat defiantly. "Go to hell."

Caelus simply increased the pressure, the Fighting Spirit’s grip squeezing tighter until bones began to creak.

The captain’s defiance crumbled almost instantly, pain overriding his loyalty.

"I’ll talk" he screamed. "First of all, Marcus Vale didn’t order this attack, our group hated him! He secretly partnered with Crimson Fang Guild and we wanted to steal the opportunity before he could take all the credit! That’s why we came here."

Caelus nodded, that made sense. if the guild’s intention was to attack, they wouldn’t have sent the fake protesters in the first place.

"And what about today’s protesters?"

"That was Vale’s doing, he coordinated everything with Crimson Fang Guild! They wanted to destroy Genesis from within but we decided to attack directly instead!"

The livestream chat immediately exploded.

[WAIT THEY ADMITTED IT.]

[Yesterday wasn’t fake after all.]

[Crimson Fang actually hired people?]

[Shadow Halberd has no shame.]

[Guilds bullying beginners now?]

[Expose them.]

[Clip this.]

[Post this everywhere.]

[Now this is some hot news. I should share this on Blue Bird and make some money off the impressions.]

Inside Crimson Fang Guild headquarters Reign Bloodfang watched the livestream with an increasingly ugly expression, his crimson eyes narrowing as he witnessed everything falling apart.

The room became silent as his subordinates realized things had gone catastrophically wrong.

Public opinion was shifting against them with every passing second, the confession spreading across the internet like wildfire.

Reign quietly crushed the glass in his hand.

"Idiots," he said with anger. "They ruined everything."

Caelus then headed toward Shadow Halberd Town immediately after obtaining the information.

Sylvia following close behind as they crossed through the Regional Lord Territory.

The journey took only minutes with their enhanced speed, both of them arriving at the guild’s modest town before anyone could warn Vale about what had happened.

Marcus Vale was still inside his office reviewing reports when Caelus kicked the door open, the wooden frame splintering from the impact.

Marcus Vale jumped to his feet with confusion written across his face. "Why are you here?"

Caelus showed him a recording of the livestream, some players had already clipped it.

Marcus Vale watched in horror as his carefully constructed plans crumbled before his eyes. His face turned pale, then red with anger as he realized he had been betrayed by his own people.

"Your internal problems aren’t my concern," Caelus said. "But Genesis suffered because of you and you are going to pay for that. Heh."

Vale’s expression twisted with desperation and he drew his weapon, choosing to fight rather than accept defeat.

The battle lasted less than 10 seconds.

Caelus dominated him completely, the Ancient Dragon God overwhelming Vale’s defenses with pure power while Telekinesis restricted his movements.

Every attack Vale attempted was countered before it could connect, every escape route sealed before he could reach it.

The final blow sent Vale crashing through his own desk, his body slamming into the wall behind it and leaving a crater in the stone.

And in the end, he beat the guy up till he gave over the Town Ownership.

[Town Ownership Transfer Initiated]

[Shadow Halberd Town has been conquered.]

[New Owner: Sylvia Reign]

The livestream chat fully supported the decision.

[Deserved.]

[Justice.]

[Shouldn’t have messed with Genesis Town.]

[Common Caelus Kross W.]

[This is one of the rare moments where a Non-Guild Player is winning against a Guild]

Caelus then looked toward the sky as a familiar notification appeared.

[The Origin Ascension Domain will now.]

Seeing this, Caelus swiftly closed the screen.

there was an option to merge the Shadow Halberd Town, but they didn’t do it just yet.

There was still time after all.

They soon returned to Earth as the domain closed, both of them appearing back in their apartment.

The remainder of the day passed with discussions about Genesis’s future, plans for defenses against potential guild retaliation, infrastructure improvements that needed immediate attention, strategies for dealing with Crimson Fang Guild’s inevitable response.

Meanwhile the internet exploded with controversy.

Clips from Caelus’s livestream had gone viral, spreading across every major platform within hours. People criticized both Crimson Fang Guild and Shadow Halberd Guild for their coordinated attack on a beginner town with no backing, public opinion turning sharply against both organizations.

Sylvia sat beside Caelus on the couch, her head resting against his shoulder as she let out a sigh.

"We’re definitely going to get attacked by them eventually, aren’t we?"

Caelus smiled softly. "Probably."

"But we’ll get through it together."

Sylvia smiled warmly and nodded.

Night fell once again.

Both entered the Origin Ascension Domain, reality twisting around them as they crossed between worlds.

The moment they spawned inside Genesis a massive system notification appeared across the entire town, the text glowing with brilliant golden light.

The sealed mine began shaking violently.

The ground trembled beneath their feet.

A brilliant golden light erupted into the sky, illuminating the entire settlement with its radiance.

[Origin Ore Vein has completed its formation.]
