Chapter 285: Sylvia’s Transformation! Soaring Combat Score

The cocoon surrounding Caelus slowly cracked apart as fragments of crystallized energy drifted into the volcanic air, and blue Chaos Aura began circulating around his body like living flames.

His transformation had completed perfectly, every cell resonating with the Chaos Dragon Body that now belonged permanently to him.

Caelus thought it was strange. His power was now blue in color, he did not know why.

On the other hand, Volcano King was looking at Caelus in silence.

His eyes widened as he observed Caelus stepping out from the remnants of the cocoon, and his breathing became noticeably heavier with each passing second.

He slowly walked toward Caelus while staring at him in slight shock.

"Impossible," the Volcano King whispered.

He circled Caelus once while observing every detail of his transformed state, his gaze moving across the small blue horns emerging from his forehead and the circuit-like patterns extending around their base.

"Your transformation, how are you controlling it already?"

"Most races lose control the first time they awaken, some require months before they completely synchronize and be able to use it all time." he explained while stopping directly in front of Caelus. "Yet you’ve already reached perfect harmony with the Chaos Dragon Body."

His expression became contemplative as he studied Caelus more closely.

"Could you be the First Ender of Origin?" he asked carefully. "Did you take human form to walk among mortals?"

Caelus chuckled slightly before shaking his head.

"No, I’ve simply experienced the Chaos Dragon Body before," he replied.

The Volcano King became even more confused hearing this explanation, his brow furrowing as he tried to understand what Caelus meant by those words.

He opened his mouth to question further but decided against it, recognizing that some mysteries were better left unexplored.

"Perhaps Origin truly is beyond my understanding," he muttered quietly to himself.

Caelus then opened his Status Window after the Volcano King stepped back, the familiar blue interface materializing before his eyes with updated information reflecting his permanent transformation.

The numbers were looking great.

Every statistic had doubled from the permanent integration of the Chaos Dragon Body.

His combat score alone had increased by twenty-five points on top of the doubling effect, pushing him far beyond what normal Rookie Rank players could achieve.

A rookie usually had like 100 combat score at level 50.

This was already on the level of the elite Rank.

Caelus soon closed the Status Window and quietly turned toward Sylvia, her cocoon still floating in the air several meters away from him.

Crimson light repeatedly pulsed from inside like a heartbeat, each pulse growing stronger than the last as her transformation continued.

The Volcano King smiled faintly while observing the cocoon with knowing eyes.

"The stronger the race, the longer the awakening. But you seemed to have awakened early" he explained as he gave Caelus a side eye

Caelus quietly watched the crimson pulses without saying anything.

She never possessed a racial transformation back in the Abyss, and he had originally believed vampires simply had enhanced physical abilities without any true awakened form.

Apparently those racial powers had been incomplete all along.

This world’s Race Awakening was restoring the original bloodline that vampires were meant to possess, unlocking potential that had remained dormant throughout their time in the lower dimension.

A genuine smile spread across his face as he continued watching.

He was happy Sylvia would become even stronger.

Inside the cocoon, Sylvia’s transformation had already begun at the deepest level of her existence.

Crimson Mana started flowing through every blood vessel in her body like rivers of liquid fire, the energy spreading from her heart outward until it reached even the smallest capillaries.

Her vampire blood stirred in response to the awakening, ancient genetic memories activating one by one as the True Progenitor bloodline fully manifested.

Every cell in her body began evolving simultaneously.

Her bones became lighter yet paradoxically stronger, the molecular structure reorganizing itself into something far more efficient than human anatomy could ever achieve.

Her muscles transformed next, each fiber becoming capable of generating force that defied their delicate appearance while maintaining her elegant physique.

Her presence changed most noticeably of all.

Instead of the oppressive weight that most powerful beings radiated, her presence became elegant and refined, carrying an authority that demanded respect rather than fear. The transformation understood that she was royalty among vampires, and her Aura reflected that noble status perfectly.

Physical changes followed the internal transformation.

Her silver hair grew slightly longer, reaching past her shoulders now with an almost ethereal shimmer.

Her skin became even fairer than before, achieving a porcelain quality that seemed to glow faintly from within.

Her eyes transformed last as her sclera darkened to pitch black while her irises became crimson with vertical slit pupils, the combination creating a striking appearance that enhanced her beauty.

The cocoon finally cracked.

The moment the cocoon shattered completely, her Vampire Power erupted without warning.

Blood Aura exploded in every direction like a crimson shockwave, the pressure so intense that even the volcanic rock beneath her feet cracked from the force.

Her instincts immediately began taking over as ancient predatory impulses surged through her consciousness, demanding that she hunt and feed and dominate everything around her.

She struggled against the overwhelming sensations.

Her breathing became unstable as she fought to maintain control, her newly awakened power threatening to consume her rational mind entirely.

"Control it," the Volcano King’s voice came. "Do not fight it, accept it."

Sylvia remembered the knowledge the Volcano King had previously transferred into her mind, centuries of experience with vampire transformations flooding back to her in an instant.

She closed her eyes and stopped trying to suppress the awakening entirely, choosing instead to synchronize it with her own soul.

The key here was acceptance rather than resistance.

She allowed the power to flow through her while guiding it with her will, treating it as an extension of herself rather than an enemy to be conquered.

The ancient instincts gradually recognized her authority as they submitted to her consciousness.

Her powers slowly calmed down.

The crimson energy that had been raging outward reversed direction, flowing back into her body where it settled into perfect harmony with her existing power.

The transformation completed itself in that moment of acceptance, bonding permanently with her soul.

[Ding!]

[True Progenitor Synchronization Complete.]

[Permanent Transformation Achieved.]

The Volcano King smiled proudly as he observed the successful awakening.

At the same time, more system notifications appeared before Sylvia’s eyes immediately after the synchronization completed.

[Ding!]

[Description: Allows the user to perceive the darkness within living beings. The greater a person’s sins, murderous intent, and evil actions, the darker their soul appears.]

Sylvia instinctively activated the new ability without consciously deciding to do so, her crimson slit pupils glowing faintly as the power awakened within them.

She turned toward Caelus and looked at him through her Sin Eyes, curious what she would see.

His soul appeared brilliantly radiant.

Golden light surrounded him like a protective halo, pure and untainted despite everything he had done to survive in both the Abyss and this world. She smiled warmly at the sight.

"You’re still the same," she said softly.

Caelus raised an eyebrow at her words.

"What did you see?"

Sylvia simply smiled.

"Nothing bad."

Sylvia opened her own Status Window to examine the changes from her transformation.

[Transformation]

Her statistics had doubled across the board just like Caelus’s transformation, and the permanent integration of the True Progenitor form had elevated her combat score to 182.

As she was observing the status window, the Volcano King’s body gradually began becoming transparent as small volcanic embers started floating away from his form.

His time in this realm was finally ending, the ancient spirit that had lingered for countless eras was finally being released.

He quietly smiled as he observed the two young players before him.

"I can feel it," he said softly.

He closed his eyes and allowed the sensation to wash over him completely.

"My lingering spirit has finally been freed."

He looked toward both of them one final time, his expression carrying genuine warmth and satisfaction that his final duty had been fulfilled.

"Thank you, may your journey surpass even ours. May you reach the realm beyond Divinity."

"Don’t forget to train with your Twin Soul Resonance as well. You need to train it a lot to use it at any time you can. It is one of the best skills you can have and unlike normal skills, aura skills doesn’t have any restriction, you can use as many as you want."

Caelus nodded respectfully toward the ancient being.

"Thank you for everything. Senior. Rest in peace."

Sylvia also bowed deeply to show her gratitude.

The Volcano King smiled one last time before his body slowly dissolved into countless volcanic embers, each one drifting upward toward the crimson sky before fading away completely. The ancient guardian was finally at peace.

The entire volcanic world began collapsing around them the moment he disappeared.

Reality twisted violently as the volcanic dimension crumbled.

And just as quickly, their time in the domain also came to an end.

[Domain is closing!]

Six hours had passed and It was time to go back.

Their figures turned into rays of light before disappearing back into Earth.

"We’re finally back." Caelus sighed.

But before either of them could say anything else, Caelus’s phone suddenly began rining.

He took it out and looked at the caller ID displayed on the screen, his expression shifting to mild surprise.

It was Freya.

"Freya?" he muttered.

He swiftly answered the phone without hesitation.
