"Rookie?" His lips twitched.

He had been a Crown, and now he was reduced to nothing but a Rookie. He did not know whether to laugh or cry.

He knew what this rank really meant. The note from the Origin Domain had spelled it out perfectly. Rookie was just the First Sequence dressed up in a baby name.

Fine. He could climb it again. He had done it once already.

"Is my skills and other stuff split up now?"

That part threw him off slightly. Back in the abyss, everything sat in one messy pile. Now the screen featured neat little tabs.

[Talent]. [Skills]. [Traits]. [Professions].

Each category was boxed off on its own.

Then, he saw two lines near the bottom.

[Combat Score: 3]

It was good to know that the familiar combat score was still there. He filed that information away.

His hand moved on its own and tapped the [Talent] tab. The list slowly opened.

Caelus frowned. "Where are my talents?"

The screen was almost empty. He scrolled down and then scrolled up again. Three entries. That was all that looked back at him.

His extraction talent, Star King, and his Ascended Body.

The rest were gone. They had been wiped completely clean.

His face went stiff as a new note slid up over the screen.

[Note: The abyssal talents are not suitable for use in this world. The real world cannot calibrate abyssal talents or powers.]

For a second, he just stood there reading it. Then, he let out a slow breath.

"Oh well." He shrugged. "Half of them were dead weight anyway."

It was true. He had pulled in a stupid number of talents down in the abyss. He had dozens of them, but out of that whole pile, he had only ever really used two. The rest just sat there taking up space like junk thrown in a drawer.

His divine duplication was gone too. It didn’t make the jump.

Only one thing had made the jump in good shape.

Ascended Body.

Which was quite weird, because he had many talents of the same grade, Lower S-Rank, but only this one ended up staying with him.

Could this Ascended Body have some secrets?

He was definitely sure that it did have a secret.

He looked closer at the entry for the Ascended Body. There was a button blinking right under it.

[Recalibrate]

But he was not in a hurry to recalibrate it.

He also checked through the other stuff.

In Skills, he saw many skills excluding his Ender Passive.

[Skills: Ender’s Passives (Secret, 1-Star), Origin Sever (Secret, 1-Star), Temporal Regression (Secret, 1-Star), Golden Light Palm (Divine, 1-Star), Lightning Vow (Divine, 1-Star), Telepathy (Rare, 1-Star).]

These skills were interesting because before, they didn’t have any known ranks or stars.

Now they did.

They were at Rookie Rank, and Origin Sever, Temporal Regression, Golden Light Palm, and Lightning Vow all showed different rarities.

Some were Secret, some Divine, and Telepathy was Rare.

But now he understood why they didn’t have rarities before. It was simply because these skills belonged to this world and not the abyss.

And now that he was here, he could view their rarities, which was quite interesting. Secret and Divine.

The Secret rarity skills glowed with a black and white color, while the Divine ones glowed with a rainbow color.

Rare was just a blue color.

As for other skills, they didn’t cross over.

He also took this time to reintroduce himself to these skills. Origin Sever and Temporal Regression were straightforward and his main skills; he remembered them well. The others were the ones he got from the gods.

Telepathy let him talk to someone via the mind.

Golden Light Palm helped with subduing evil and dark forces and also dealt lots of damage.

Lightning Vow let him make a vow with someone, and if either party broke it, they would get struck by lightning.

With that familiarization done, he moved on.

He also lost his Aura Tiers. He didn’t know why, but the technique still existed in his head with a difference in how it was done; instead of ranks, it just continued increasing with training.

But the abilities he had before could be regained through training, like his Aura Bullet and Fighting Spirit.

On the traits list, he only had Telekinesis.

He then headed back to his school in Long Island City.

He studied at LIC High School as a final-year student. It was the same in the previous world and also in this world.

The only difference here was that this school had powerful supernaturals.

He soon reached the dorm to see Chad at his table, scrolling through his phone, watching short videos.

Caelus shook his head. The year was 2026. Everyone, no matter what world, was still addicted to short-form content like this.

It was to the point that people had short-term attention spans.

Caelus didn’t comment on this.

He swiftly entered his designated bathroom.

He knew drastic changes would take place in his body upon awakening the Ascended Body here, hence he didn’t want to make a commotion with Chad present.

But before he underwent the transformation, he decided to check through the Ascended Body stats once again.

[Ascended Body (Lower S-Rank): You have the peak strength and power of a human. Your cell density has increased several folds, and your muscle fibers and bone structures are condensed to a microscopic degree.]

[Passive (Ascended Filter): The body filters out toxins, poisons, and cellular corruption automatically.]

[Passive (Injury Redirection): You can redirect critical attacks that land on you and redistribute them to a different, less fatal area.]

[Passive (Molecular Overdrive): When using eye-related abilities, time appears as slow as a crawl in your vision as your synaptic firing speed matches the processing power of a supercomputer, allowing you to react just as quickly.]

[+5 Combat Score.]

[Any move from you can break energy barriers or skills related to energy.]

"Thank God it still is almost the same," Caelus sighed.

He was level one.

He had 0 EXP, and 2 out of the 3 total combat score he had came from his body enhancement talent, which had already been merged into the Ascended Body. Now, if he made the recalibration, he would have 6 Combat Score.

Ascended Body also allowed him to break energy and spells barehanded.

He also had the Star King talent. He decided to check it out.

[Star King (Upper S-Rank): You are the king of stars. The power of stars powers you. Use it to boost your stats and use it to utilize skills.]

[You can use the power of stars once requirements are met.]

[You can select two skills from the talent.]

"???" Caelus was confused.

"Requirements? What requirements?"

"System, I will crash out."

"You took away my powers, now you are even putting requirements on?"

Ignoring the last notification of the Star King Talent for now, Caelus decided to check out his Endless Extraction too.

[Endless Extraction (SSS-Rank): You can extract anything in this world. 10 Extractions per rank.]

"???" Caelus was even more baffled seeing this.

"Why is this also limited?"

Why was his path to overpoweredness being limited by the domain?

That was when the Origin Network’s notification arrived.

[The abyss is where there is no restriction to powers because it exists in a lower dimension.]

[The powers you possess have reached their intended state]

"What the hell."

[Ding! Would you like to know the difference between the abyss and the real world in depth? The Origin Network has compiled a list of changes for the Ender.]

Seeing this, Caelus immediately pressed yes.

He was way too confused about all this.
