Chapter 181: The Legendary Teacup of Endless Tea! Trial at the Captial, King Azula, the Ruler of Vampires
"I should probably use this time to increase the power of my artificer." Caelus nodded as he was going back.
He wondered what sort of powerful artifacts he could create.
The way artificing worked was similar to engineering.
You trace patterns on objects.
It could be anything. The Origin Network would randomly assign an effect onto it.
Or if you already have a blueprint, then just use that and mass-produce the same artifact with the same effect.
On the way, he bought a tea set and a bunch of strange items, which earned him a weird look from the vendor, but he did not mind.
Once he was back at the house, he began.
The first thing he wanted to try it on was a teacup.
He took it, and soon a pen appeared in his hand. He began inscribing. A list of options appeared before his eyes.
[1. Offensive.]
[2. Defensive.]
[3. Support]
[4. Utility.]
"Hm." Caelus was thoughtful. He looked at the teacup. It should be utility, right?
But it was fine. He had multiple teacups. He would just try it out on everything.
For now, he selected utility and began drawing.
Minutes went by as a shine erupted from the teacup.
[You’ve successfully crafted a Teacup of Free Tea (Legendary, 1-Star)]
[Teacup of Free Tea (Legendary, 1-Star): If you pour this down, it can pour down a nourishing Oolong tea that can relax an Iron Player completely. There is no end to this tea. You may even fill a pool with this tea. The best part is that it will always be hot.]
"Oh?" Caelus was surprised.
It turned out this teacup’s effect was better than he thought, and thanks to his perception, it was directly at legendary.
On that note, now he or Sylvia would not have to make tea for guests.
With that said, he moved on to the support option.
The artificer profession was still at Iron since he acquired this profession before he made the benefit where it automatically adjusts the profession rank to the rank of the person.
It was truly a pity.
But he only got inspiration for benefits when he did something. That is how things were, learning from experience.
Soon, he began crafting the support type.
[You’ve created: Teacup of Healing Drink (Legendary, 1-Star)]
[You’ve obtained +500 Profession EXP]
[Teacup of Healing Drink (Legendary, 1-Star): A teacup that pours freshly chilled mint soda. This chilled mint soda will rapidly begin healing your allies. Once the drink is finished, you will be back to full health. Make sure it is a 250 ml glass. Each pour uses up 1 energy of the artifact. You can refill 1 energy using 20 mana, and the max storable energy is 5. Effective at Iron-Rank.]
Caelus nodded.
Then, he made offensive and defensive types.
[Teacup of Armor Drink (Legendary, 1-Star): A teacup that pours a fresh fruit smoothie. It could be random flavors. If you have any allergies to fruits, then this is not for you. Each pour inside a 250 ml glass will form an armor shield that will be the size of half your HP.]
There were other types too.
But for now, the priority was reaching Silver III.
Hence, he began the grueling process of artificing.
A few hours later, his entire room was flooded with artifacts, especially teacups. He had bought more since the ones he initially bought were nowhere near enough.
[You’ve created: Teacup of Damage Drink (Mythical, 3-Star)]
[You’ve obtained +1,000 Profession EXP]
[Teacup of Damage Drink (Mythical, 3-Star): A teacup that pours an energy drink that is chilled. Each pour inside a 250 ml glass will increase your damage by 5. Effective for Gold-Rank.]
[Ding! Level up!]
[Artificer (Tier 3: Silver III) (0/25,000 EXP)]
"Phew." Caelus heaved a sigh of relief.
It was 5 PM right now, and luckily, he managed to get to Silver III.
This was better than he thought.
Just then, his phone rang.
"Ring! Ring!"
He looked at it to see it was surprisingly Brenda.
He immediately picked up the phone.
An anxious yet troubled voice came through.
"It is not good, Caelus. The royals... they have found out about our plans. Our leader, Ashhart, a minister, has been found. Someone from our team has snitched on him."
"Now, the royals know about the team, including us."
"Ashhart has been called in for a trial at the Supreme Court."
"It will take place today in an hour."
"The royals plan on streaming this to set an example."
"Um?" Caelus wore a stunned look hearing this.
Damn, the Solaris Kingdom sure was filled with snakes, was it not?
At the same time, he noticed a caller ID from the corner of his vision; it was from old man Welt.
"Why is the court happening now?"
"Because we were abruptly called out in the morning, other court trials did not happen either. Hence, the postponed court trials are still ongoing right now and will go on until late night."
"Oh." Caelus nodded.
He understood that well. Starting tomorrow, there probably would not be time for such things with the merger of the middle expanse cluster. Hence, finishing them would be the best option here.
But did that not mean his dear uncle, the patriarch of the Ashborn family, Lloyd Ashborn would also be undergoing trial right now?
"I will be there," Caelus spoke as he cut the call, leaving Brenda confused.
Caelus swiftly called old man Welt.
"Caelus." Welt’s deep voice came through.
"I am at the supreme royal court right now. I am going to oversee the trial of Lloyd Ashborn."
"So that you get the justice that you deserve."
"You do not need to come. The king and his family are present here today."
"Things are not looking good right now. A minister’s betrayal has been identified, and he has been called in for a trial as well. It comes directly after Lloyd Ashborn’s trial."
Old man Welt’s words were simple. Things would turn for the worse in the trial room today. Perhaps even something he himself could not handle. But he made it clear that he would not leave without giving Lloyd the punishment he deserved.
However, Caelus simply cut the call hearing this.
"I am afraid I cannot stay put," Caelus smiled. "I need to take revenge for the previous host."
Boom!
Caelus’s terrifying power erupted.
He went out of the mansion and stared at the sky before shooting straight into it.
His next destination: the capital city.
----
At the same time, in the central plains.
Sylvia came out of the private jet with the two vampires.
Leonard came in with an anxious look on his face.
"Come quickly. Our father might be here any moment now," he said anxiously. "Let us go back to my mansion."
"Alright." Sylvia nodded.
They began briskly walking, from the plane area straight outside the airport.
Seeing Leonard’s uneasy expression, Sylvia frowned.
She wondered why he was so anxious. Their father had visited many times before, but he never showed such an anxious look.
Just then, Leonard, who was walking ahead, froze.
Seeing this, Sylvia tilted her head and spoke.
"What happened, brother?"
That was when an arrogant voice cut through the air.
"See, King Azula. I told you Sylvia Reign was not in the central plains but in some backwater kingdom on the Aria continent called the Solaris Kingdom."
"Indeed," a dignified yet indifferent voice cut through.
The instant Sylvia and Leonard heard the voice, they both froze in their tracks.
They both recognized the voice immediately.
It was none other than their father, Azula Reign. The ruler of vampires.
----
At the same time, to the side, a man sat with a grin on his face.
"This is getting interesting."
He held a staff in his hand, and wore dark sunglasses, a hat, and clothes that had white and green stripes.
If Caelus saw this man, he would recognize him in an instant.
Allstar.
