Chapter 7142: Tortoise Immortal

Worldbearer Tortoise was the final resistance, facing a tough choice. The inhabitants of Divine Firmament placed all their hope on this group.

If Worldbearer were to surrender, his primordial friends would also leave them to their demise.

“If my world dies, I die with it.” Worldbearer refused.

“Tortoise Immortal!” Onlookers were moved to tears.

“He’s the one most worthy of respect, a true savior.” An overlord said.

Their faith was shattered with the divine beasts’ betrayal. However, Worldbearer Tortoise continued to protect them.

Kun Peng’s expression darkened upon hearing this.

Worldbearer Tortoise continued: “Gluttonous brat, don’t forget the suffering you have endured. Qilin, don’t forget your original pursuit. You two have done so for a long period of time.” Worldbearer hoped to persuade them.

“Elder, I will focus on the big picture instead, the survival of the divine beasts matters more than anything.” Gluttonous breathed in deeply before answering.

“Then why did you struggle back then for His Majesty? Wouldn’t everyone be expendable?” Worldbearer asked. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Gluttonous had no response.

“Elder, you should surrender.” Qilin spoke, unwilling to switch sides.

“It appears you have fallen. Your gift, Eternal Lamp, is the reason for your downfall.” Worldbearer said.

“We will send you on your way, Elder, and the other primordial immortals shall be food.” Kun Peng spoke: “Seal!”

“Seal!” His four allies shouted and glowed with a crimson light.

Countless roars came from the sea of wisdom in harmony.

“Clank!” All of Divine Firmament was sealed in the blink of an eye. Inhabitants felt their veins being sealed as well, unable to leave.

“What?” Overlords and immortals couldn’t believe it.

Alas, their dao and bloodlines had a deep connection with Divine Firmament. Once this seal was activated, they were entirely trapped.

“We can’t leave.” Stone Immortal said.

“So the Divine Beast Seal is real.” The monarch was also trapped: “Closing all escape paths.”

“This will not happen!” Worldbearer used his innate gift again, pushing up Divine Firmament.

“Boom!” Suddenly, he exploded into a bloody mist. This wasn’t due to someone else’s attack but he self-detonated.
