Chapter 6417: Difficult Demand

Everyone knew who the traitor was - Luosha Devil Emperor. She differed from Whale and Ocean-gaze in that she was an inner disciple enjoying ample resources and training.

She didn’t let them down, having reached the heavenreach stage before the betrayal. Some viewed this betrayal as logical since she was pushed out to Devil Cult despite being so powerful.

The outcome of the three cultivators subjected to the imperial selection varied greatly. Whale seemed to be the most promising since he became a primal ancestor at the essence stage.

Ocean-gaze was a heaven ancestor, famous but albeit weaker than Whale. The worst outcome belonged to Luosha who was vilified for joining Isles of Evil. Others considered this a fall to depravity.

Nevertheless, this had nothing to do with Imperial League. Now, Iron Spear demanded them to attack Isles of Evil to hunt her down.

The emperors exchanged glances. Finally, Virtuoso shook his head: “Senior, our league is weak and cannot defeat Isles of Evil. We only hope to survive so I’m afraid we can’t be of service.”

He declined politely and stressed their weakness. The villains themselves were strong, not to mention having the defender advantage.

Their six emperors stood no chance, not even if they were to count Ocean-gaze Ancestor. It would be a fortune to not be attacked by the isles, let alone go on the offensive.

This was the reason why Ocean-gaze Ancestor spent his birthday alone. No one was in the mood to celebrate when the odds were heavily against them.

“What is there to be afraid of? They are a group of uncoordinated ruffians and we are your backers. Destroying them is a meritorious contribution.” Iron-spear said.

This annoyed the emperors since they weren’t a part of Trinity. They were leaders of their lineages, not appreciating the command to become cannon-fodders. They would be dragging other members down with them.

“I appreciate your high evaluation.” Virtuoso shook his head: “We do wish to help but survival is our highest priority.”

“I am not asking, this is a command.” Iron-spear’s expression soured as he uttered coldly.

“A command?” The emperors were infuriated.

They were prideful beings due to their success, not to mention having zero affiliation with Trinity.

“Trinity commands Imperial League to launch an attack against Isles of Evil.” Iron-spear’s voice echoed.

As a primal ancestor, he looked down on emperors and desolate gods.

“Even if we have the capability, we are not under Trinity’s jurisdiction.” Virtuoso said.

“Imperial League was founded by Ocean-gaze Ancestor who came from Trinity, so you must obey.” Iron-spear repeated.

“Imperial League has nothing to do with Trinity. We will not comply.” Virtuoso feared no one since he came from Immortal Bronze Palace.

“Do you not wish to exist any longer?” Iron-spear’s eyes turned cold, freezing the waters nearby.

The emperors exchanged glances, ready to fight instead of running against this primal ancestor. After all, Imperial League was their home and they still had the grand momentum ready.

“Virtuous Nephew, what caused you to be furious?” Someone leaped out of the water and said.

“I found my pot.” He laughed while holding a pot still intact.

“You’re back, Ancestor.” The others heaved a sigh of relief.

“Senior Uncle.” Iron-spear bowed slightly.

“What happened?” Ocean-gaze asked flatly.

“Senior Uncle, please order an attack on the isles to hunt the traitor.” Iron-spear said.
