Chapter 1539: Chapter 957: The Path of Transcendence (VI): Vacation_2

Tony didn’t know if the so-called blessing was real or fake, but the house price made his heart ache. The contribution he spent was enough to buy a manor or castle over a thousand square meters in the city center of the Dawn World.

Of course, he already owned his own castle in the Dawn World, with an accompanying land area of nearly three thousand square meters, and the castle itself is five hundred square meters, standing eight stories tall.

Next to the castle, he even built a Mage Tower, and Tony "hired" an NPC mage in exchange for supporting experimental research. Many potions he carried were crafted by the mage.

Additionally, amongst the facilities attached to the castle, there’s even a base for docking starships...

It can be said that Tony’s stronghold is unquestionably luxurious, and it’s quite well-known even among the player circles in M Country.

All these were accomplishments Tony achieved through his efforts in earlier years.

After all... he is considered a founding player on the West Continent of Dawn World.

Don’t be fooled by "Elf Kingdom" being just a virtual online game running for nearly ten years; the wealth gap inside it is no less than the real world.

Being ranked among the top five thousand players, although Tony is relatively poor within the top five thousand, it’s still compared to them.

The assets he accumulated are probably unmatched by the combined total of a thousand Black Iron Rank or even Silver Rank novice players.

In the extraordinary world, power is paramount. Although the duration of play influences the wealth accumulated, outstanding skills can still bring substantial assets through mastery.

Speaking of which, during plane development, Tony’s status as Gold Upper Level Full Level was enough to change many things.

In this game, there’s a saying that goes—

Ordinary players in "Elf Kingdom" can rise in three ways: first, by latching onto the thigh of an orange NPC, second, by clinging to a golden player’s thigh, third, by becoming a golden player themselves.

In the extraordinary world, power reigns supremely, with extraordinary levels bringing many benefits.

Precisely because of this, Tony felt grateful towards the ones who guided him, helping him avoid many detours and progress smoothly to the Golden Rank.

After buying the house, Tony also hired two beautiful Half-Elf maids for daily upkeep.

Reportedly, they are descendants of Elf-Human Hybrids from the Oros Half-plane, whose parents successfully purified their bloodline to become Half-Elves, later giving birth to them in the Beautiful City of Kenolan.

Many similar Half-Elves exist in the Elf Forest, who are the main workforce employed by players, visible across various industries.

I must admit, as his strength grew and wealth in the game increased, Tony became more fond of the "Elf Kingdom" game.

If there’s anything he was dissatisfied with, it would be the lack of a reproductive system for players in the game.

Once you enter the game, it feels like something’s sealed. Though players might develop feelings for others, be it another player or simply an NPC, but they lack those worldly desires...

Such a waste!

Tony sighed.

Oh, right, he learned this term from someone.

Who was it? The name was on the tip of his tongue, but he couldn’t recall it immediately. He remembered that person frequently visited the headquarters of the Mengmeng Committee, often consulting on cooperation matters with its leader, Little Xian Miao, sporting a headful of red, explosive hair...

In short, players lack reproductive capabilities.

Unless you pass away in reality and become a memorial NPC, only then do you become a "complete" elf.

Memorial NPCs are not numerous in "Elf Kingdom," but they certainly aren’t few either. Tony alone knows over a hundred significant ones; each had a dedicated obituary in the game following their demise in reality.

Regarding all memorial NPCs... interested players estimate there are at least hundreds of thousands across the entire server.

Still, the most famous one remains a player named "Boxed Meal" from Tianchao, reportedly the first player in "Elf Kingdom," seemingly passed away due to illness.

He is distinguished not only as the first memorial NPC in "Elf Kingdom" but also because his memorial NPC account remains the sole player among the deceased to reach the Legend rank.

Additionally, he fathered a daughter with his elf wife in "Elf Forest."

Memorial NPCs strive to retain the original player’s abilities and habits.

To Tony’s knowledge, even after "Boxed Meal" passed away, his memorial NPC holding the player’s habits remained remarkable.

Apart from enjoying life steadily for the first few years, later, he couldn’t sit still. After some hustle, he became the NPC guard captain in Chosen City.

Soon after, he outright advanced to Legend rank.

Reportedly, legions of Tianchao players pestered him constantly, kneeling and flattering, trying to gain favor.

By irritating his memorial NPC to annoyance, he deducted every favor point to negative numbers, finally breaking free.

It’s quite amusing.

Enough chit-chat, let’s return to present matters.

Having dealt with the housing issue, now comes the decoration.

The bought house was actually already decorated, but Tony disliked the existing style, so he contacted the guild’s construction team, requested a design based on his ideas, and had it done directly.

They are all from the same guild, with discounts as well. The Mengmeng Committee’s construction team is renowned for its design and engineering prowess.

Having seen their previous works, Tony often suspected that even in reality, they could achieve fame.

Or saying... it’s quite possible numerous players here engaged in construction or design in real life, merely returning to their old trade in the game.

With Magic, such a wondrous ability, decorations and constructions are much more convenient than in Tianchao. The [Purification] magic alone can "one-click clear" various pollutants during construction.

Within just two game days, the decoration was completed.

Tony didn’t follow the process entirely. He entrusted the matter to the construction team then returned to the spaceport, flying his starship to the Starship Factory for modifications.

In "Elf Kingdom," the starship modifications at Chosen City offer the best value for money.

The reason simply being this place has the highest traffic flow and the most developed transportation, where almost every guild with starship factories has a branch, most near the spaceport.

The Mengmeng Committee also has its Starship Factory, but it is not in Chosen City; rather, it’s positioned at their Mountain Peak City headquarters.

To Tony, it’s a city comparable to Shantem’s main city in the Dawn World.

And such cities, in the entire Segis World, aside from Chosen City, there are at least seven others.

After docking the starship at Mountain Peak City’s starship factory, Tony stopped caring further, having already coordinated with the guild member responsible for the starship factory, planning to retrieve the remodeled starship later.

As for what’s next, he planned to give himself a vacation to explore around Segis World.

Segis World is the most bustling world in the game, and certainly the most fun world; being here, naturally, one must indulge in leisure.

Various battle contests, various entertainment activities, diverse cuisines, along with stunning landscapes... are all captivating.

Tony spent over half a month relaxing in the game.

Considering he was on a business trip in Tianchao in reality, his daily work wasn’t busy either. Whenever free, he remained inside the office’s stealth pod, euphemistically calling it work, but was actually goofing off.

If there’s work indeed, he could handle it in the game, with four-fold accelerated thinking, enabling extremely fast processing, definitely worth having.

Nevertheless, overall, Tony felt "Elf Kingdom" didn’t significantly boost his work efficiency.

Since, even with accelerated thinking... it merely extends his gaming time.

Regarding work, it’s still dragging at the last moment, executing a deadline escape.

Twenty days later, Tony ended the vacation.

It wasn’t due to new missions, nor because he had to work.

But for the date of an offline gathering, which was coming up.
