Chapter 1481: Chapter 925: Sunrise and Morning Light (Part 3): Friends

The dim sky was gradually replaced by dusk, and the whole world seemed to be engulfed by darkness.

Only the occasional lightning flashing across the sky illuminated the desolate plains, with faint thunder echoing in the distance.

Occasionally, the monstrous roars could be heard in the distance, accompanied by the howling night winds, inevitably causing tension.

Ados and his group guarded a dilapidated house, watchfully observing their surroundings.

Suddenly, a faint energy fluctuation emanated from the house behind them, as golden light burst forth from its broken window...

Noticing this scene, their hearts instantly tightened.

The next moment, the broken door swung open, and Tony’s figure emerged from the house.

His aura had subtly changed, and there was an unmistakable excitement on his face.

"Thank you, Sir Ados,"

He walked up to Ados, both thanking him and presenting the beautiful and sacred icon of the Goddess with both hands.

Ados hastily and respectfully received it.

He couldn’t help but curiously gaze at Tony, both surprised and puzzled.

The other three mirrored this, their eyes resting on Tony with apparent curiosity.

Noticing their gaze, Tony smiled slightly.

He looked at the hesitant Ados and said:

"Sir Ados, what’s the matter? Is there something you want to say?"

Hearing Tony’s words, Ados nodded:

"Well... yes, I am indeed curious about a few things. Earlier, I wanted to ask, Lord Tony, what rank are you exactly? In my perception, you seemed to have just elevated to Black Iron, but when I first met you, I clearly remember you demonstrated powerful Silver skills..."

Tony was slightly taken aback, then laughed heartily; he didn’t conceal, but calmly explained:

"Sir Ados, you are correct, I have just advanced to Black Iron. However... as the Goddess’s Chosen One, I was granted Divine Favor upon arrival, allowing me to wield Silver-level powers for a certain period."

"Ah, I see!"

Ados suddenly realized.

He hesitated for a moment and cautiously asked:

"Then... Lord Tony, does this mean that although you are only Black Iron rank, you can still continue to wield Silver power?"

"There is a time limit; it can only be used as a trump card for a limited time."

Tony thought for a moment and replied.

Ados’s eyes brightened, and the others also cheered up.

This elder appeared to want to speak again.

Tony’s heart stirred:

"Sir Ados, do you have anything else to say?"

"Well... indeed... Lord Tony, I won’t hide it, there is actually something I wish to discuss with you."

Ados spoke.

With that, he took a deep breath, looking expectantly at Tony:

"Lord Tony, we plan to head to Dawn Fortress. Would you be willing to accompany us?"

Tony was stunned, then laughed heartily:

"Of course, my dear Sir Ados, I was already lost, not knowing where to go! Since learning this is the West Continent, I planned to head to Dawn Fortress; even if you hadn’t brought it up, I would have requested to join you!"

Ados was overjoyed:

"That’s wonderful! With your addition, our chances of completing the mission are much higher!"

"It’s only natural, and I shall do my best. As the Goddess’s summoned Chosen One, helping Life believers is my duty."

Tony smiled.

At this moment, he had fully embraced his role, seeing himself as a Chosen One Warrior fighting for the Goddess.

After speaking, he glanced at the system time, then checked the small map in the upper right corner.

"Are we setting off now?"

Tony asked.

"No, Lord Tony, the nights in the West Continent are the most dangerous; even if you can wield Silver-level power, if we encounter a large scale of corrupt beasts, we would be in peril."

Ados shook his head.

"Indeed, it’s safer to travel by day. Let’s rest and depart when the weather is better,"

the female Mage Mire also said.

Listening to them, Tony nodded:

"Then let’s travel tomorrow; I too need some time to check some information."

"Information?"

"Well... nothing, I meant, just spend some time familiarizing myself with the power after leveling up."

...

Thus, Tony joined Ados and others in their escort team.

They camped right there, deciding to continue their journey during the daytime the next day.

The dilapidated village became their temporary camp, and they drew lots to decide their night watch shifts.

However, Ados politely declined Tony’s participation, saying that as the esteemed Chosen One, he shouldn’t be troubled with such trivial tasks.

Tony declined several times before agreeing.

Truth be told, the realism of the "Elf Kingdom" was too high, and he wasn’t truly confident he could handle keeping watch correctly.

Moreover, he indeed needed some rest time to sort out certain matters.

Crawling into the sleeping bag provided by Ados and others, he peered through the broken window at the rolling clouds outside, took a deep breath, connected to the game system, and logged into the official game website.

Today marked the day when the new player quotas for the month officially took effect, and he didn’t believe he was the only one who chose Dawn World.

Since he encountered a wrong location issue, perhaps others might have similar situations too.
