Chapter 413: Project Relay (1/2)
Aside from Project Fusion, one of the other two projects Jay had assigned to MJ solved this problem perfectly, though it had originally been meant for a completely different purpose.
It was Project Relay, designed for reliable communication and terrain surveillance inside the Bloodline Realm.
The earlier wristband prototypes were far from ideal. Both the materials used and the level of Spirit Energy Engineering behind them were limited.
The first version of the wristband prototype had been created during the Day-2 rest period. As time passed, newer versions were developed with additional features.
But even the latest versions were still far from what could be achieved with better materials and MJ’s improving Spirit Energy Engineering expertise.
So starting from Day-24, as part of Project Relay, MJ began creating a high-end version of the wristband prototype, using stronger materials, including higher grade Spirit Ore and Spirit Crystals.
The result was the Orion Relay Model-I.
MJ then mass produced it so there would be enough for every Orion Vanguard member entering the Bloodline Realm.
Jay originally planned to distribute them on Day 29. But something unexpected happened when he broke through the 2nd Universe Limit.
Using Universe Points, he upgraded the║SOUL A.I║skill all the way to Grade-9, allowing MJ’s Spirit Engineering expertise to match that of seasoned Tier-9 blacksmiths.
To put that into perspective, Jay’s Growth-type armor, the Centauri Kavach, had been crafted by a Peak Tier-9 Blacksmith using top-grade materials and an essence fragment from a living Centauri star.
If MJ were given the same materials, he could theoretically create similar Growth-type equipment.
Of course, theory and practice were different. Forging such equipment required the physical strength of a Tier-9 lifeform to handle those materials properly.

MJ’s Corpse Integrated Bodies had not reached that level yet. His physical stats were still the same as Jay’s, currently at Tier-7 Mid Phase.
Even so, there was still a lot MJ could do.
And so he did. He improved the already created 1st model of the Orion Relay, strengthening the materials further, making them durable enough that even energy attacks would have a hard time destroying them
With that, the 2nd model of the Orion Relay was created. MJ not only added several useful functions to it but also turned it into a full-fledged Spirit Equipment, and that too a Legend-grade one.
Jay then took out a dark-grey contraption that looked like an arm bracer with a circular protrusion on its surface and sent it hovering toward Akor.
