[Capture both items of the Primordial Chaos and kill the God Gaia]

[Reward 01: +500 Upgrade Points]

[Reward 02: +270 Celestial Points]

[Reward 03: Cultivation in the Divine King Realm Unlocked]

’Is that it? Are you sure you don’t want us to kill the queen too?’ Bruno retorted dryly after reading the main mission objective.

Alm just let out a heavy sigh; with each new realm, the missions got more and more suicidal. However, they couldn’t complain. They were under enormous pressure to get stronger, and the rewards—whether direct or indirect—were generous and could help a lot.

[This is the border region, very close to the queen’s home, but isolated by the formation. This is where the bloodline of the sealed beasts is used. They are sealed so that their primordial power can be drained to nourish the God Gaia; their blood, in turn, is used to nourish this small region.]

[In this place, the heroes constantly imprison the mutant or abnormal races that emerge in the universes. These races, which have potential that caught the attention of some hero, are forced to refine their bloodlines to the maximum in this Qi-less environment. From time to time, they are given the opportunity to take a test and go to the Alpenglow planet.]

Alm and Bruno read the summary and nodded. So, that’s how it was. The formation that led to the planet had this small separated area. Huying had mentioned that mutant races existed in that place, but hadn’t explained how they emerged.

The whale explained everything to Ruri, and the Ice Phoenix listened, quickly commenting: "I really didn’t know about this place. But indeed, every century, a new group arrives on the planet."

It became clear what the Heaven’s Will was intending. He couldn’t place them directly in the location, but managed to insert them there without drawing attention. The whale and Ruri had primordial bloodlines dense enough to disguise their presence. Being part human, their blood disappeared easily, making them perfect for infiltration.

After discussing the plans with Ruri, she nodded and let her Dragon bloodline fully take over her body. Although this power could only be used for a short time, thanks to the energy stolen from the sealed beasts that nourished the place, the bloodline was constantly replenished and could remain activated indefinitely.

"Keep the beast world open so all your pets can absorb this too," the whale suggested, and Ruri nodded eagerly.

After examining their disguise, everything seemed perfect. They now passed as legitimate mutant Golem and Dragoness. The next step was to gather information about the test: when, where, and how it would happen.

They left and mounted the back of the beast, then began to explore the surroundings. Leaving the forest, they reached the edge of the island, where a sea of incredibly blue and pure waters stretched out.

The beast, being half-fish, could swim and take them anywhere. However, despite its power, it refused to move in that direction, pointing fearfully.

Ruri could force it, but it wasn’t necessary. In that direction was the domain of another terrible mutant beast. From the fearful expression of the beast they were on, the master of that territory was an existence it couldn’t challenge.

Alm and Bruno didn’t feel any danger, as they could easily kill anything by burning through resources. But it didn’t make sense to do that now.

They chose to head in another direction. The beast, incredibly fast, ran and jumped, making the journey a bit bumpy. When they reached the sea on the other side of the island, they realized it was even faster swimming than running. Had they encountered this creature in the sea, their only option would have been to flee desperately.

Mutant beasts were unpredictable. A mutation could happen naturally in any race, but if it occurred in powerful species, it could give rise to a new race or abnormal individual. But if it happened in a humanoid race, for example, it could mean a premature death sentence. A pure Yin or Yang body was an example of this type of deadly mutation.

Alm and Bruno reflected on this as they were carried at high speed through the sea. The queen’s race was probably a high-level mutation case, as an individual of that race could be born anywhere. But they had a specific mutation, which, even if it appeared in other races, was considered the same species.

Shortly after, they arrived at a small mountainous island.

Nearby, there were sea beasts that owned the place. But the beast they were on was much stronger and scared them off without even a real fight.

Alm and Bruno felt something at the center of the island, so they entered. Exploring, they found a glowing lake surrounded by very white mist. In the center of the lake was a small floating island, vaguely visible, resembling a mystical paradise.

On the shores, the beast immediately crouched down to drink the water, which seemed irresistible to it. Ruri looked at the whale, who ignored the scene, leaving it be.

They, in turn, explored the center island and were shocked to find numerous precious natural ingredients growing there.

"This is the legendary Sacred Yang Bamboo?"

The whale stared at the three-meter-high bamboo in front of her, and supreme Yang flowed from it. Coltia’s ecstatic voice echoed from the beast world:

"Yes! Heavens, I’ve only seen this once in my life, a long time ago. Just a single stalk, and it was thanks to it that I was able to advance into the immortal realms more easily."

She spoke in utter ecstasy while observing... there were hundreds of them growing naturally there, not just a single stalk like she had found in the past.

"Great. Take everything and use it for cultivation."

Without hesitation, Coltia left the beast world in her true form and began harvesting the bamboo as gently and carefully as possible.

To her, this was the greatest gift she could receive. With it, she could easily return to her peak — and this time, she would be incomparably stronger.

Ruri gave a slight smile. After waiting a few minutes for everything to be completed, the group moved on. There was nothing useful left on the island.

The beast saw them return and bowed deeply. After absorbing all the essence of the lake, its aura grew explosively. The lake was a treasure given to it. It was clear that it understood it had been helped, and even if Ruri removed the slave seal now, it would probably still follow them, serving as transportation.

Without wasting time, they continued exploring the surrounding islands, only following those that gave off some kind of special feeling.

Along the way, they stumbled upon various unknown and frightening natural things. However, Yinou and Huying, inside Ruri’s beast world, roared with excitement, commenting on how valuable those things were.

There was an abundance of items with pure Yin or Yang energy, all stored in the beast world, where Ruri’s pets could absorb them and grow rapidly.

However, the level of valuable things those islands held came with their dangers. Many were inhabited by extremely powerful beasts. But Ruri took the lead like a mother wanting to feed her children. She fought alongside that mutant beast against them all.

They were all defeated without burning any resources. With the bloodline of a primordial beast combined with her skill, it was nothing more than a trivial matter.

Moving from one island to another, they spent nearly two months on this exploration. During this time, they passed through hundreds of islands and collected thousands of treasures.

Finally, they approached a continent.

Upon reaching the land, the whale gave Ruri a look. She trembled slightly before letting out a long sigh. Then, she turned to the beast that had accompanied them so far, waving her hand and removing the slave seal.

"You’ve helped us a lot, and we’ve paid our debt. Now, isolate yourself and absorb everything you’ve gained. Maybe your intelligence will increase significantly, and your future will be different," Ruri said, visibly emotional. Without looking back, she turned, clenched her fists tightly, and walked away.

The beast, as if partially understanding her words, tried to make a grunt, but the whale shot it a stern look, and it remained silent. And so, they parted ways.

The continent was indeed vast, likely the place where the greatest powers involved in the test were gathered. After a day of travel, in a mountainous region, they felt a dense Yin death energy in the air and began moving toward it stealthily.

Soon, they began hearing sounds of intense clashes, indicating a fierce battle was underway.

"Die, you damn invaders!" A furious roar echoed through the air, coming from a group of creatures resembling demons, with strange marks on their skins. They were attacking another group, which consisted of several hundred mutant beasts.

The mutations of these beasts were all similar; they already formed a new race. Under the attack, they did their best to escape, but the ground around them was already stained red with spilled blood.

The two groups seemed to be evenly matched in bloodline power, but the demons had the numerical advantage and better equipment. All the demons wielded powerful, dark weapons. It was only a matter of time before it all ended.

Next to the whale, Ruri watched the battle with a cold expression. The demons were using weapons made of demonic metal. Alm and Bruno could also clearly feel their evil karma. It was evident these creatures had no hesitation in destroying everything to become more powerful.

"Bastards! We have no grudge with you! Why are you attacking us?!" roared the leader of the mutant beasts.

"No grudge? You’re invaders! You just arrived and want to steal our resources! You’re thieves, and we must eliminate you before you become a threat!" fiercely retorted one of the demons.

Ruri and the whale listened attentively, using their souls to catch the words. It was clear that the races brought by the heroes, either individually or in groups, had to compete for resources with those already inhabiting the place.

"Stop resisting! We’ll capture you and take you to our clan. You can live, as long as you accept our conditions. But if you’re stubborn, death will be your only reward," declared the strongest demon, who seemed to be just an ordinary soldier from a large clan, assigned to resolve smaller matters.

"Really?" The leader of the beasts, desperate, saw a chance to save his people. Though there were doubts, submitting might be the only option to ensure their survival. After all, even the heroes recognized the immense potential of their race. These demons surely wanted to have them as slaves, rather than completely annihilate them.

"Of course. My Corrupted Demon clan always keeps its word," replied the demon arrogantly.

Alm and Bruno almost laughed out loud. The name of the clan made it clear how "trustworthy" it was.

"Fine, we...!"

Before the leader of the beasts could finish his sentence, the demon shot a black light that pierced his head.

"Ah!"

The scream of pain reverberated as the other beasts panicked. With their leader dead, they lost their command and unity; they started to fall apart in just a few moves. One blade cut through their heads, while another pierced their skulls. The strangest part was that the beastwomen fighting weren’t being killed, only the men.

Even after all of this, they didn’t die immediately. Their souls kept screaming, enduring unimaginable pain until they collapsed completely.

The whale explained the truth to Ruri: This was a classic practice of the demons. The men had been killed and their souls refined through demonic methods. As for the women... if they were still alive, it was only because they were going to be used to produce new slaves. They would be forced to get pregnant, and their children would be born enslaved, using techniques that made any revolt impossible. It was a good way to get loyal slaves.

"I curse you! You will never have peace!"

*Puff!*

One of the women screamed before being pierced by a sinister spear. The demon used her as a message for the others to behave. Her head shriveled quickly, while the weapon glowed with a dark light, absorbing her soul. Her soul’s screams of pain echoed with a macabre torture.

After a few minutes, with everything finished, the demon leader gave instructions: "Take them all quickly. We don’t have much time, and we need more power to ascend to the celestial world. Intensify the search."

"Even if you hurry, it’s already too late."

A voice echoed, causing the demons to panic. They searched for the source, only to spot...

"Is that a golem?" one of them murmured. But this figure wore a warm smile and greeted them with a friendly wave. They all stared at her, and that smile made them break into a cold sweat, sensing immense danger.

"Courting death!" One of the younger, more foolish demons shouted.

But before they could react, four winged figures appeared, forming a circle around them. They were two wyverns, a black phoenix, and a Silkworm.

Ruri, using her mental power, moved secretly and freed those beastly women; using a talisman, she sent them all away to a distant and unknown place. In the next second, the four of them roared in sync, making the world change color; then, a sea of destruction advanced, surrounding the demons.

**BOOM!!**

Everything was obliterated instantly. It wasn’t Qi, but the pure, raw power of the draconic and phoenix bloodlines burning in a devastating way. Coltia, strengthened by her recent gains, unleashed a devastating ray of light to complement it.

They reduced the demons to nothing. Finally, a dark hand captured their souls, storing them in the inventory.

"Do you dare offend my Corrupted Demon clan? Seems like you’re tired of living!"

The environment suddenly darkened. The whale turned and saw hundreds of powerful auras approaching from all directions.

"How did they get here so fast? Did we get unlucky?" murmured Bruno, serious.
