At the top of an isolated mountain, the light in Alm and Bruno’s eyes faded, along with their Celestial souls. They took deep breaths, relieved. They didn’t sense any imminent danger, meaning the immortal heroes hadn’t noticed them.

At the same time, their concern grew. If they hadn’t been detected, it could mean the heroes were so focused on obtaining that half of the cauldron that they ignored everything else. It was a plausible theory; after all, following the theft of the other half, they would need to secure this one quickly to avoid complications.

The inventory rune opened, and the couple emerged.

"Everything I could use has been consumed," the old man said softly. "My wife and I reunited thanks to you. We only gave back a little; I hope, in the future, to fully repay this debt. We intend to live as long as we can in peace, far from any conflict. Farewell, and thank you."

As he spoke, the woman moved swiftly, waving and sending a knowledge rune.

"It’s not much, but I felt that the Heavenly Elemental Spirit woman has a temperament similar to mine. I created some techniques; maybe these can help her," she said gently.

Ruri and the other two also emerged. Lansha received the rune and felt immense gratitude.

’Elders, go in peace. I know we’ll meet again one day. Master will welcome you again. In your universe, people live free; perhaps it can become your new home.’ Ruri spoke and bid farewell along with the others.

After the old man nodded, the runes in his eyes spun. Their bodies turned to dust, leaving behind only their broken souls, each firmly holding the other’s hand. In an instant, their figures vanished into nothingness. Those two elders, who had taken part in an ancient epic battle, were finally taken into the cycle of reincarnation, without separating or losing their memories.

It was over, and they had managed to "free" the five immortals from the seal.

’Now we have to go to the source of the infernal laws. After that, we’ll find a way to steal from and escape the heroes,’ Alm murmured, and they knew exactly where to go.

Bruno turned to Lansha and Mihkriel. "You two, I have a place I want you to go."

They surveyed every corner of that sealed world and noticed an intriguing spot. It was a massive crater resembling an abyss. Within, they could sense the existence of a vast concentration of Qi—the treasures of that place. They couldn’t afford to waste time retrieving them, but at the same time, it was something they’d need upon returning.

"I found a few High Elders there, all from the Heavenly Spirit God Sect. It’s a place for young people to explore, so it’ll be easy for you to infiltrate," Bruno explained. "Soon, I’ll cause a commotion. The guards will disappear, and you’ll be able to take everything freely. These resources will be important for you and for me to cultivate quickly. It’s an extremely important mission."

The two nodded. "Leave it to me, sir. I’ll make this fool work without rest. We’ll take back all the resources we can," Lansha declared.

After sending the location details, they parted ways. Alm and Bruno then focused on using the laws of earth.

Quickly, they performed something they had learned in the past. Their bodies began to be covered by lightning. The laws of earth, due to their balance in Yin and Yang, could easily create other low-level elements.

This was only useful for mortal cultivation, but by activating their tattoos and using their knowledge, the lightning was perfectly molded. Suddenly, its level multiplied, and the wild force of the lightning seemed to become calm and controlled.

On the young men’s backs, it looked like two lightning wings had formed. Then, they shot off like shooting stars at high speed.

They chose to move like this because using the Eraser caused significant phenomena, leaving the surrounding space marked for a long time.

An immortal cultivator could easily detect this. If they were unlucky and the heroes appeared, they wouldn’t head to where they had been, as there were no spatial marks there, ensuring their safety.

As they moved, all the youths on the ground looked up, astonished. It resembled a lightning falcon piercing the skies. The High Elders, however, were confused, trying to sense who it was, but they could only detect the lightning.

Alm and Bruno concealed themselves from everyone’s senses using their Celestial souls. The lightning hid their physical presence, preventing curious eyes from realizing a youth was responsible. Since other sects knew the heroes were nearby, they wouldn’t dare investigate something so abnormal, assuming it was related to them.

While flying, they confirmed something they hadn’t focused on earlier due to lack of time. All the youths participating in the Heavenly Spirit God Sect’s entrance test were spread across nearly every location.

There were also beasts and members of other races tied to different sects, but in one specific area, no one dared approach.

In that place, only demonic auras could be felt. It was where all the members of the Shadow God Sect were gathered, explaining why they hadn’t encountered anyone so far.

Within minutes, they entered that isolated region.

It was a vast field of black earth, shrouded in a faint scarlet mist. The barren, oppressive landscape stretched for miles, immersed in an atmosphere of suffocating energy.

Everywhere lay the colossal remains of demonic beasts and demons. Some corpses had been reduced to skeletons, while others still bore rotting flesh and worn skin.

However, they were only divine cultivators at their peak, not immortals. Yet, their bodies radiated the purest and densest infernal law. Each body pulsed with fragments of this power, as if it had become a part of it.

Based on the information Alm and Bruno had gathered about this law, and knowing the insane competitive nature of cultivators in the queen’s universe, they deduced that these corpses belonged to beings who had succumbed in their attempts to master this macabre law.

Even in death, their remains stood as grotesque temples to the infernal law. Inside them, lesser demons huddled in meditation, attempting to analyze the fluctuations of the law to understand its intricate rules and perhaps obtain a fragment of its essence.

They pressed forward without looking back.

In the deepest, darkest part of that profane land, where the scarlet mist and infernal laws reached unbearable levels, stood the colossal skeleton.

The bones of this monumental being were like markers of ancient power. Its ribs, larger than the tallest towers, arched toward the sky, while its jaw seemed capable of swallowing entire mountains. Each fragment of its skeletal structure emitted an aura so dense and terrifying that it seemed to corrode the very reality around it.

It was an Abyssal Demon. This race, known to Alm and Bruno, was a branch of demons with titanic proportions and overwhelming physical strength. They had no doubt: this Abyssal Demon was an immortal cultivator. It had been their first victim — and, in a way, the origin of the infernal law.

Standing before that skeleton felt like confronting the core of a primordial nightmare, something no being should have ever dared to create. It was the source of all infernal laws, the same ones that had pervaded the entire galaxy, shaping its planets and civilizations ruthlessly.

’No formation?’ Ruri murmured, astonished, as she realized the skeleton appeared to be there, free, without any visible restrictions.

’Doesn’t need one,’ Alm replied coldly. ’Look around. Everyone here is food for this law. After its birth, it was more beneficial to let it roam free. The heroes attract people from the sects and from all corners of the universe, and everyone tries to dominate it.’

He paused, observing the dark scene around him. ’Obviously, they knew it was nearly impossible. But the deaths of those fools seem to be feeding something inside the skeleton. That’s what keeps the laws flowing within it eternally.’

Ruri sighed deeply. The heroes treated all lives as disposable resources, but at the same time, the heroes didn’t need to give orders; the cultivators were here by their own choice.

Everyone was blind to the ambition of conquering something impossible. Even though they knew that everyone who had tried before had died, they persisted. Cultivators were, after all, beings of insane recklessness.

Alm and Bruno continued to move forward without hesitation. None of the demons around them even lifted their eyes; they were absorbed in meditation, trying to extract fragments of knowledge from the fluctuations of the infernal law. They were one step from death and wouldn’t waste time on intruders who seemed to be walking toward a suicidal fate by heading in that direction.

But they ignored the oppressive laws trying to suppress them. Then they moved toward the heart of the colossal skeleton.

Soon, something caught their attention: a pulsating scarlet sun that seemed to illuminate the vastness around with a sinister light. As they got closer, the details became clearer.

’Is that... a Heavenly Elemental Spirit?’ Bruno murmured, surprised.

At the center of it all floated a pulsating, solid rune. It was the origin of the entire infernal law, and its fluctuations were strangely similar to those of a Heavenly Elemental Spirit.

However, something was out of place. There was no spirit, no intelligence, or any sign of consciousness in that rune. It was an empty body, but it still functioned autonomously, like a living machine.

When they approached, there were no frantic or hostile reactions. Just absolute silence. This silence, however, carried a crushing power, capable of devouring entire lives and worlds.

Alm and Bruno sighed. This was undoubtedly the source of the infernal laws, what they needed to achieve their goal: the other half of the cauldron. However, taking it would trigger an alarm that would surely attract the immortal heroes.

The other cauldron was in an isolated space, not too far from there. They would need a precise and powerful distraction to divert the heroes’ attention and act with surgical speed. But everything they imagined was completely suicidal and senseless.

’I can open the formation and call the people from the Yinblood sect,’ Ruri suggested, trying to help by considering the possibilities.

’That would indeed create enough of a commotion. But the heroes would retaliate immediately. I don’t want to sacrifice anyone for that,’ Bruno replied, then felt Ruri’s serious gaze. ’I know they would do it without hesitation to achieve such a big goal. But I’d rather find a better solution.’

They paused in their steps, reflecting. There had to be some opportunity, something they hadn’t noticed yet, they just had to find it.
