A day passed without trouble. After that, Alm and Bruno felt a subtle danger approaching. Luckily, they could rely on their sharp instincts to escape moments like these. Years of being villains had honed their survival senses to the maximum.

Without hesitation, they moved to another distant region. However, they couldn’t keep running forever; they needed to find a solution. Up until that moment, only a few days had passed, but the longer time went by without the queen managing to contact her heroes, the more likely she was to suspect something and step in.

Purimu provided a detailed explanation of the universe’s situation. None of this information seemed relevant at first. Then, she talked about the allies who accompanied her to that place.

From the dwarf kingdom, Sihmo led a battalion. He was only a few months younger than Purimu and had slightly lower cultivation. He was the first son of Zaimo and Nebai, with remarkable talent in forging techniques inherited from his father.

Although he was below Purimu, he could still be considered an exceptional genius in the universe. Surprisingly, though, Sihmo was seen only as a secondary figure among the dwarves.

Zaimo was currently the leader of the dwarves, with his second daughter, Diama, as vice-leader, a young dwarf just fifteen years old with abilities nothing short of exceptional.

Diama couldn’t participate in the event because her cultivation was still low. However, Purimu stated that the title of youngest Divine King Realm in history, which she held, was numbered as Diama would soon surpass her.

The most curious thing was that Diama didn’t wear armor or focus her training on forging. She was a classic hand-to-hand fighter, an unusual trait for dwarves. However, her father forged technological gear to support her in emergencies.

Alm and Bruno were surprised; despite being formidable, Purimu considered herself inferior to Diama. The most impressive thing was that this wasn’t due to talent in multiple elements or supreme techniques from that dwarf.

Diama simply possessed supreme combat skill and experience, like a veteran warrior born to fight. Purimu had fought her many times and lost every single time; of course, she had to suppress her superior cultivation, but the gap between their realms was closing fast.

Another surprise was Lyra. Though considered below average in alchemy and combat power, over the years, she stood out as an exceptional leader and recruiter.

Almin and Lyra took full control of the Phoenix Cry sect. She traveled the universe recruiting soldiers and disciples for the sect. While other sects sought only the most talented young people in the divine world, Lyra ventured into ascending worlds and even the mortal world in search of talent.

These young people, ignored by other sects for being inexperienced compared to those in the divine world, were key to the sect’s growth. With the help of Almin’s Dao of the God of Alchemy, their talents were enhanced, and the sect quickly rose.

Within a few years, the Phoenix Cry sect became the leading alchemist sect in the universe, also boasting a competent fighting force. Thanks to their pills, they could defeat even the most power-focused groups; this, of course, further contributed to the universe’s division and the start of the war.

Lyra didn’t recruit based on talent alone but on will and honesty. She turned the sect into a loyal family; everyone, without exception, was her friend and admirer. Almin focused on training members in both alchemy and combat, an unprecedented move for alchemist sects.

This approach defied the norms of all alchemist sects, which focused only on making pills. Almin knew from personal experience, having been trained by his brother. An alchemist who spent all day locked up brewing tended to be mentally fragile and unstable.

Even those less talented in battle, after intense training, found they weren’t as weak as they thought or at least learned to defend themselves. Additionally, the discipline acquired and refined Dao heart helped them overcome challenges in alchemy.

Lyra brought her personal army to the event. Though slower, she had cultivated to the level of the others, earning the title of Empyrean Sovereign. Although her combat power was below average, the power of the Fire Phoenix made her a tough opponent; she gained the title of Phoenix’s Daughter for this.

After that, Purimu talked about her home. In the Yinblood sect, significant changes had occurred over the years. Idris, Ambry, and Kisala were no longer officially part of the sect.

Idris and Ambry were recruited by the Nine Star Tree Sect leader, Noak. He wanted to repay a debt to the whale. Knowing he had been attacked by the Heaven-Defier and was unlikely to return, Noak brought the two in as core disciples, giving them everything he had to support them.

At first, he was ignored. But the two thought about it and saw it as an opportunity to expand the whale’s domain.

They accepted with Mistie’s authorization. Soon, Noak realized that, in fact, his sect was benefiting more from their presence. Currently, Idris and Ambry were the main heroic disciples and practically ran the sect.

A few years ago, another peculiar event happened. Purimu recounted with a smile that the two had officially declared they were a couple as well.

Kisala and Corin were the deans of the Three Sovereign Gods sect; this was orchestrated by the whale since the Berserker God didn’t want to lead and would have dissolved the entire sect. Since Corin joined the main mission, Kisala stayed and took over leadership on her own. She became the leader of the sect and heroic disciples. Later, like the other two Fey, she permanently joined that sect.

Purimu casually mentioned a human named Rocky, whom Alm and Bruno remembered. There was evident romantic tension between Rocky and Kisala; however, she was demanding, strict, and stubborn. Bruno wasn’t surprised, as these were traits that had made him compare her to Alm in the past. The couple was noticed by everyone, but it hadn’t been made official.

About the Azure Dragon siblings, they continued to lead their sects and evolve. Yuan stood out for his immense power. Meanwhile, Yue became known as an adventurer and a thief... although she insisted on calling herself a treasure hunter!

She was famous for her expeditions in search of anything intriguing across the universe, such as treasures and rare items.

Purimu explained that Yue did this to create new talismans. During those years, the Larimar market bought all the recipes and methods she needed for her studies. Yue spent her days avoiding training, studying joyfully, or disappearing... to "hunt for treasures" around the universe.

She was a classic, true dragon who wasn’t ashamed to be herself. She even received the whale’s blessing to do so.

In the end, all the allies developed considerably during this period. They were now Empyrean Sovereigns and had reached the Divine King Realm, the fourth realm of divine cultivation.

When the whale disappeared, they had just reached the Heavenly Saint Realm, the third divine realm. At this stage, Qi was no longer the only requirement to break through the divine levels. Before that, Alm and Bruno faced a significant challenge: finding a way to perfectly integrate the universe’s laws into their future advancements.

Purimu, however, assured that everyone had accomplished this fusion impeccably, thanks to the dragons’ help. They learned to masterfully manipulate the heavenly laws due to the benefits provided by the whale. With maximum support from the dragons, all of the whale’s allies successfully advanced.

’In the end, we ended up leaving everything, somehow, in their hands,’ Bruno reflected, ’They didn’t disappoint us. It was us and the allies who followed us that fell behind.’

After a few hours, the Leviathan finally turned his attention to them.

"I’m done here," he announced, snorting with some exhaustion. "The Ziz is a bastard, but he’s not a traitor. He really did watch me and informed the heroes about what I was doing. But he had a plan."

The Leviathan looked seriously at the whale, as if seeking permission. The whale gave a slight nod, understanding. Then, the Leviathan removed the soul seal from the Ziz.

Now, the Ziz was just a severely injured divine soul. His body had been consumed by Alm and Bruno, and with his weakened soul, Liumi managed to seal him easily, just as she did with the hero. The Ziz couldn’t offer much help at that moment but might have valuable information.

Soon, a winged spiritual figure appeared. He looked at the whale and slightly bowed his head in respect.

’Sorry for before,’ his words were weak. ’I never intended to survive this situation... so I did everything I could, even selling out my brother. Winning this battle with our power had proven impossible in the past; but if that Queen got her hands on an item from the Primordial Chaos... nothing could stop her.’

’The law created with my body, you should know that it can only be used with extreme Yang and primordial Yang blood. The queen saw no issue with that since it was perfect for conquering the half of the cauldron related to Order.’

’And indeed, it’s practically identical to the power of that part of the cauldron. But I didn’t create a copy. In truth, my law is completely identical, and if the heroes got hold of it, they could easily master that half.’

The Ziz explained, and the whale stared at him in surprise. If it were possible to create a perfect copy of the power of a Primordial Chaos item, the queen would have done it already. But she settled for just a similar imitation.

Because of that, even after great effort, when she managed to master the item, she probably wouldn’t be able to use its full power.

Bruno muttered, "...so you?"

’Yes, my plan was to gain a minimum level of freedom for my soul, so I made a deal with the heroes. I hid the true power of my law by imposing that strong restriction. The heroes managed to use it forcibly, but, of course, they lacked the primordial blood and full Yang power. However, when my law was used with all prerequisites... its true power would be revealed.’

"Wait, you can really master that half now?" Alm asked excitedly.

’My law, yes. I guarantee it,’ Ziz replied categorically.
