The whale snorted, thinking quickly. The entire plan they had laid out was destroyed in an instant, turning the situation upside down. Rivine was now in danger; they could communicate with her, but that wouldn’t change the situation.

’That hero didn’t kill Yuan. He captured him and went after Rivine. He surely suspects this is connected to us and will investigate their souls,’ Bruno thought seriously.

Worrying about the memories being read didn’t make sense anymore, as they had already been discovered. The real problem was that the heroes would do this at the cost of both their lives.

’He’ll catch up to her in a few seconds. We need to make him turn back,’ Alm said gravely, quickly turning to Purimu, who was stunned beside him.

"Hurry, brat..." They pointed towards the seals. Since she mastered space, Purimu could take them there quickly.

Without hesitation, she nodded and pierced the space ahead. The place was vast, and even though they were close to the seal Heze came to find, they still needed to cross several kilometers.

But Purimu was a little monster, her spatial domain wasn’t inferior to Ruri’s. In moments, they reached an area with no one around, similar to the rest of the place; with a sea of blood beneath and a scene surrounded by a strange white emptiness.

"Over there," Heze pointed to a spot on the ground. There was nothing visible, the river of blood covered it, but Alm and Bruno felt a slight fluctuation there.

They moved quickly, and Heze made a gesture, summoning a small golden rune. The whale then created a rune of the law of Duality of Shadows and used it to invade the seal.

"To the next place, fast." They turned to Purimu, who distorted the space again with a wave.

The moment they arrived at the second seal, the whale felt that Rivine had been captured. He sighed dryly.

*BOOM!*

An intense explosion made the place shake, the previous seal had been destroyed. At the same time, they placed their rune to invade the next one.

In the same instant, the hero reappeared in the place with a serious expression, stunned by the situation. He turned his gaze to the recently destroyed seal location and found no one within a vast radius, even having arrived almost the second after.

There, only low-level cultivators remained. It was impossible for anyone to have moved so quickly in a single second, even those who mastered the laws of space.

The demonic hero took a deep breath. Behind him, two bloodied figures remained sealed by a golden aura, as if chained. He used all his immortal power, his senses expanding as he began to search the sealed world, inch by inch.

Nothing would escape him. He detected all the millions of disciples, and when his power hit them, their bodies were immediately suppressed and paralyzed. The weaker ones fell from the sky, plunging into the river of blood.

In three seconds, the hero felt the full extent of the vast place, but... nothing caught his attention. All the disciples he found were motionless, and their fluctuations didn’t indicate any culprit. If the Heaven-Defier or anything else were there, he would know.

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

Three new explosions suddenly echoed, destroying the remaining seals and making the hero widen his eyes. How did he not notice this happening, even while watching everything?

"What the hell..."

Before he could finish the sentence, he felt an intense primordial aura spread across the entire environment. Outside that world, the gigantic skeleton of the Ziz pulsed with the supreme power of time.

"He wants to escape?!"

The hero ignored everything and hurried to exit through the hole, heading straight for the sea of bones.

The laws of that sealed world trembled, the laws of time and wind distorting in unison. The hero appeared, waving all his heroic power, as if a golden sun had risen.

"Don’t even think about it, bastard," he roared, making the bones around him tremble with his interrupted power.

But... he felt something and turned around. From the depths of the distant sea of bones, an imposing presence broke through the surface.

The primordial demonic beast emerged, with incandescent eyes exhaling the fury of the abyss itself. The Leviathan opened its jaws filled with serrated teeth, letting out a deep roar that reduced the nearby bones to ashes. It attacked the hero without hesitation.

"You!" The hero narrowed his eyes, now realizing the seriousness of the situation.

Although the Leviathan wasn’t strong enough to defeat him in direct combat, its power was immense and wouldn’t be taken down easily. If the hero maintained his power sealing the Ziz, he could end up in serious trouble.

Thinking quickly, the hero assessed the situation. He was alone there; all the other heroes were far away. Though they would certainly arrive, it would take a few seconds.

"To hell with it."

The hero snorted and freed the Ziz. Even if the creature resurfaced, it would be recaptured as soon as the other heroes arrived. The moment he released his power, the Leviathan’s attack hit him.

**BOOM!**

The supreme power of a primordial beast colliding with an immortal hero generated a wave of overwhelming destruction. Space-time ruptured, and cracks spread in all directions.

Inside that nearby world, only a small portion of that energy passed through the wide-open opening. Inside, all the disciples coughed up blood in despair and immediately exploded.

However, all of them were Sovereign Empyreans, possessing the same power as a Conqueror, with the ability to be reborn. Fortunately, the runes weren’t destroyed, and so they all began to revive, though with pale expressions, marked by fear.

In the vast sea of bones, a huge area around them was completely stripped of water or bones; everything was swept away. The hero didn’t notice, fully focused on the Leviathan, but even the bones of the Ziz had disappeared.

Inside that other world, Rivine and Yuan were hit head-on by the power and disappeared like all the other disciples. They revived and were now fully healed of their physical injuries. But their souls had a mark from the hero, one that couldn’t be removed even after they revived.

Outside of it, the Leviathan floated in the sky, surrounded by a dense black mist. The hero glared at him mockingly. "How ridiculous. You did all this to release the Ziz? You thought this was the perfect opportunity falling from the heavens?"

The hero’s laughter echoed through the air. "You even made a plan with your son, didn’t you? You think the heroes didn’t know about it?" The Leviathan’s eyes widened slightly, surprised.

"We let this happen, after all, we’re about to release the cauldron, and you wouldn’t be useful anymore. Using you like the other sealed beasts would be more advantageous, but you bowed to the Holy Goddess. So, even knowing your intentions, we had to wait for you to act. That’s why we left space for you to move in the shadows."

"How? I did everything perfectly…" The Leviathan murmured with a harsh voice.

"How? Hahahaha! You thought we didn’t have eyes on you? Didn’t you know that the Ziz can see everything here? You thought he was on your side? We made a deal with him, and he’s been watching you all along."

The hero mocked him, and the Leviathan shuddered. He was certain the heroes couldn’t have discovered his plans, as he had been as meticulous as possible. But indeed, the Ziz was the only one who could see everything in that world. The Leviathan had never been able to communicate with him directly, but the Ziz wasn’t foolish. Seeing the Leviathan’s actions, he would realize his intention to free him.

As for allying with the heroes? Someone who rejected the Queen, fought against her, was sealed and used by them... how could he accept that?

"How interesting."

A lazy voice suddenly echoed, interrupting the tense atmosphere like an unexpected thunderclap.

The hero jumped and quickly turned around, his eyes wide with surprise. In front of him, just a few meters away, stood a round and imposing figure, with hands behind his back and a vacant, impassive look that seemed to pierce his soul.

"Heaven-Defier!"

The hero roared, shocked and incredulous. How had he appeared there without him noticing? In an instant, the pieces clicked in the hero’s mind — it was him who destroyed the seals, using some method that escaped his perception.

"Well, I don’t have time for games." The whale spoke with disdain, as if the hero’s presence was a mere insignificant distraction.

Far from there, wrapped in distortions of spatial laws, Purimu and Heze watched, their faces pale, the scene unfolding before them.

The great Leviathan and the hero were the focus of their attention, and their power made them feel smaller than ants. They were supreme, invincible figures in their eyes... until the whale appeared, making their hearts race.

Purimu looked at the round and imposing figure, her eyes glazed over. She clenched her fists... and upon seeing him, she felt a mix of relief and euphoria, as if anticipating something grand.

Suddenly, the sealed world seemed to freeze, as if time itself had held its breath.

The whale snorted softly, and inside his inventory, the bones made of primordial power dissolved into pure energy.

He closed his eyes for a brief moment. When he opened them again, his pupils glowed with a light that seemed to reflect the essence of the world. It was as if the very celestial laws pulsed within his gaze.

The color and vitality of the world disappeared in the blink of an eye; all that remained was that round and imposing figure at the center of an empty landscape. He was the sky and the earth, the fabric of laws and the essence of celestial will. Everything, absolutely everything, was beneath his feet, subdued by his presence.

Purimu was paralyzed, her eyes in disbelief. She had heard many tales about her uncle in the past, many impossible and exaggerated feats, but now, she could only accept it. Her instincts had made the truth clear all along, but only now was her mind ready to accept it.

The whale stared at the hero, who was now completely sealed, trembling from head to toe, desperately and vainly struggling to break free.

Far from there, other heroes, who were approaching, were frozen in midair, petrified and powerless. The heroic power they possessed had become irrelevant, and terror gripped each of them.

They knew that something beyond an immortal — something of the same level as the one who created them — had opened its eyes and stared at them. All they could do was tremble in terror, unable to move a single muscle.

"Disappear." The dry voice of the whale sounded.

*Puff*

The hero’s powerful body immediately exploded under its command. However, Alm and Bruno only had one celestial soul. They didn’t have the cultivation needed, nor the real power to kill him. What they did was use everything they had to seal the hero’s power, then use the Qi inside him to detonate it.

With no defenses, the body couldn’t withstand it and collapsed. However, with a divine soul, the hero could find another body or restart his cultivation. In just a few years — an insignificant amount of time for an immortal — he would easily reach the immortal realms. After all, there would be no bottleneck, as his divine soul would ensure that.

The hero’s divine soul emerged in the midst of the blood mist, unharmed. A golden rune still glowed on his forehead. He was still a hero, which surprised Alm and Bruno a bit — a surprise of joy.

The whale raised its hands, making a gesture. With a spatial glow, a gigantic sword appeared in its hands.

Fides pulsed... Then, its blade ignited with celestial flames. It stared at the hero with a sarcastic smile. "This will be an appetizer."

*Slash!*

The sword sliced, and the celestial flames hit that soul. What was just a blue celestial spark turned into a sea of flames as soon as it touched. The immortal hero’s karma was so heavy that it became an endless hell for him.

"AHHHHH!" Desperate screams echoed through the air.

Bruno slowly observed the scene, analyzing everything. ’The divine soul isn’t being destroyed... At the same time, it won’t stop burning anytime soon, and he can’t get rid of it. Perfect.’

They waved, and countless runes of the Earth Law appeared. They surrounded the entire sea of celestial flames, then sealed everything inside, creating a sphere like an earth globe.

The hero and the flames were sealed inside. The flames wouldn’t stop for a long time, and the hero couldn’t escape until the end. He wouldn’t die, and the flames wouldn’t stop burning him. Being immortal became the worst nightmare he could face.

Soon, the devouring power of the inventory was activated. In a second, the hero disappeared, absorbed into that micro-universe.
