"Are you crazy? You’re still too weak. Even I can only last a limited time against one of those heroes," the Leviathan said seriously. "I’ve already made a plan, and everything is in motion. I can release Ziz..."
"Releasing Ziz is just a bonus. Defeating the heroes is important, but also secondary. What I want is to steal that half of the sealed cauldron," Alm said coldly.
The Leviathan snorted. "The Cauldron of Chaos and Order? That doesn’t seem realistic. Almost Ziz’s entire body was used to create a law close to the other half of the cauldron. And even though it’s a law made with primordial power and the immortal heroes are using it, it’s still very difficult and costly for them. And you, currently..."
"It all depends on the situation, first I need to understand the pieces available on the board. Let’s start from the beginning. How hasn’t the Queen discovered you’re betraying her?" Bruno asked casually.
"I’m just an insignificant beast. She knows I’m plotting something, that’s why she’s confined me to this world for millions of years. In here, I can’t do anything," the Leviathan explained with a dry sigh.
"But even though I’m irrelevant, I’m the primordial demon beast. If I’m nourished with powerful lives, my unique power is still useful in helping maintain the sea of bones; this place is perfect for sustaining that half of the sealed cauldron. Its power is connected to Yang, while mine is the opposite, creating a balance."
Alm nodded. "So, the heroes, from time to time, organize treasure hunts here. The whole universe comes to be sacrificed and feed it."
The Leviathan confirmed coldly: "Yes, but that became an opportunity. I started leaving a bit of knowledge and my blood for the demon beasts. Every time the universe made an incursion here, some survivors would take back the idea that this place contained great benefits for the beasts."
"Eventually, the mother of my child appeared. She was descended from several beasts who received my gifts here. She was already born with a perfect body to bear him."
Bruno became serious: "So, she was technically your descendant?"
"Of course not. I chose her race, a Sea Demon Serpent, precisely because it was the most suitable. Just because she received my bloodline doesn’t make her my descendant. My blood only nourished her ancestors’ bodies, and she inherited those benefits."
Bruno nodded. Beasts thought very differently from humanoids; having powerful offspring was a top priority. If a primordial beast appeared and proposed having a child with it, it would surely be accepted with joy.
The Leviathan continued: "My son was born with a fragment of me inside his body. I’ve guided him all this time. Outsiders only think he inherited a powerful bloodline of mine, even the heroes believe that. They know I left it here and think it’s good because it attracts more people to this place."
"To keep everything safe, I always burn most of his bloodline, leaving as little as possible. I also hindered his growth to avoid raising suspicions. Still, he stands out, and my son is obvious. I even made him become a follower of a hero, making him my informant."
Alm and Bruno nodded; the plan seemed meticulously planned. But why was the Behemoth a complete idiot, while the other brother could do things efficiently?
"My plan is simple," the Leviathan said with a serious look. "I would create a small opening in Ziz’s seal. His soul wouldn’t escape just from that, but it could influence the laws created with his body and detonate them. If done in time, this would delay the heroes’ millennia of progress in the cauldron, buying time. Then he would resist until the heroes reinforced the seal again; and it would take millions of years for their laws to flow again."
"I knew you’d come at this time. My son was conceived, and I forced his mother to seal him until he could be born in the same generation as you. All to buy time, for you to grow stronger. That’s why..."
Bruno cut him off, intrigued. "This new law that was created, why are the heroes taking so long? They’re immortal; theoretically, it would be easy to control it."
"Ziz isn’t stupid. He influenced the creation of this new law. Only someone with a primordial Yang bloodline and a soul of equal level can fully control it. The heroes can only use it partially due to their power. Even then, they don’t control even 10%."
"Pfft... looks like the Behemoth was the idiot of the three brothers."
The Leviathan sighed, recalling a distant past: "That fool was always lazy. He lived to eat and sleep, interacting with mortals as if they were his equals. I was surprised when he rebelled against the Queen. I thought he was a coward and would choose the easiest path... in the end, he was an unpredictable fool."
"His soul is still alive, but not for long. Anyway, with my bloodline, it’ll be easy to dominate that law," Bruno murmured.
The Leviathan retorted: "No, the earth law and his bloodline are perfectly balanced between Yin and Yang. Ziz made it so that any minimal presence of Yin would cause a reversal. The heroes can remedy this with their mastery over the laws. I see that one of you is completely Yang. It might be possible to manipulate the law, but you would have to separate from your body and use only your soul."
"That would be dangerous; the heroes would identify me immediately," Bruno replied thoughtfully. "Your plan is well thought out, but unfortunately, the situation has changed. I didn’t come for this universe hunt like the others. In fact..."
Bruno told him about past events, how they were brought there unconscious and how they ’escaped.’
The Leviathan’s eyes widened. "Damn, my plan has been destroyed..."
"Yeah, but we’ll find a solution. We can destroy Ziz’s seal completely. With you and him together..." Alm pondered, and a cruel smile appeared on his face. "We’ll cause absolute chaos. These heroes won’t even know what hit them."
The Leviathan was speechless, staring at Alm’s expression. That figure was completely insane. He would do anything dangerous without hesitation.

Bruno said calmly: "The real problem is how to get that half of the cauldron. I’m sure that as soon as the heroes realize something is wrong, they’ll activate measures to stop me from taking it. Stealing that has to be our top priority."
"Hmmm... You have the power of a missionary, right?" The Leviathan recalled something and his eyes lit up. "I’ve seen others before, the Heaven’s Will can grant complete or incomplete Daos; you just have to ask in the right way, right?"
Alm and Bruno snorted. "I wish it were that simple. I have to work for it, but in the end, it’s something similar."
"The enemy of the Queen that I killed during the last war, it was a Yang serpent... I think it was called Yangta. It created an incomplete Dao called Solar Immortal Physique. This Dao made its body become pure Yang for a time. If you have something like that, you could control that law. Even the Queen captured the soul of that divine beast because she thought it was useful, so it should work. It’s incomplete, but with your Yang soul, there might be a chance."
The Leviathan said, and immediately, Alm and Bruno thought about the system’s new option for researching a Dao. But unfortunately, they had used up all their points, so now it seemed impossible. However, Bruno remembered something.
"The nine-star tree gave us some knowledge. It mentioned that the Queen left many incomplete Daos that she wanted to complete for the Divine Inquisitors. Maybe it’s among them."
The two quickly found the rune that the tree had given them, just before they fell into a deep sleep. Within seconds, they read the topics of the content. At the top of the list, they saw something they knew very well: Yin and Yang Supreme Qi Collector.
Then, they remembered the Divine Inquisitor who had discovered them during the last mission, and they finally understood how the whole tense event had unfolded. They had used the maximum power of the tattoos for a second when they crippled that idiot who tried to steal something from the sect they were in.
The fluctuations of the tattoos were very obvious in a world without Qi, even more so for a Divine Inquisitor of that level. He probably noticed and, once he understood what it was, started a search. Later, when they defeated the four elders from other sects and used the tattoos again for a longer period, that’s when the enemy knew where they were, and everything turned into a mess.
"I found it!" Bruno exclaimed excitedly. He started reading quickly, then was surprised. "This is extremely detailed. Almost identical to what the system gives us!"
The Leviathan commented: "The Queen took the techniques directly from the creator’s soul. This is the best way to complete it, knowing his thoughts and the objectives he had when creating the Dao. After the war, she began a hunt for the incomplete Daos she considered useful, and eventually captured the soul of every one. Even those who escaped and reincarnated, she found them and came up with a sinister way to bring their memories back..."
Suddenly, Alm and Bruno widened their eyes.
"How do you know all this?" Bruno asked quickly.
"Hm? Didn’t I mention before? My son became my informant, acting as a companion to a hero. He even came into contact with an incomplete Dao, and the hero explained all this to him. Everything that was most valuable to the Queen, she did the same with." The Leviathan replied calmly.
"That... isn’t impossible." Alm spoke dryly. "Do you know the Yin and Yang Supreme Qi Collector? Heard anything about it?"
The Leviathan nodded quickly. "Of course. This is the most impressive incomplete Dao, almost ready to dominate another item of the Primordial Chaos. My son saw the hero studying it; after a stroke of luck for the Queen, a little over thirty years ago, she finally managed to capture the soul of the creator. Anyone with the slightest affinity should try to complete it..."
The Leviathan stopped mid-sentence, shocked. He saw both souls radiating such intense hatred that it almost made the sealed space they were talking in crack, all with the force of their will.
