Alm and Bruno listened with serious expressions. This was the second time something like this had happened, but it wasn’t surprising. Their actions shifted the balance of power, reversing everything and causing complete chaos. Among cultivators, the desire for power and greed reigned, especially in this Queen’s universe, where everyone was mentally pushed to compete.
When they were forced to leave the Pristine planet, it was the same; because of their actions creating that city, as soon as they disappeared, the war broke out. Would the powerful allow the less powerful to rise? Of course not; they would try to steal everything they left behind before they reached the top.
In the divine world, it was no different. They had been absent for only 22 years. Soon, the two sects they had a rivalry with found a pretext to incite a war, uniting other smaller groups and moving them through greed.
’I’m getting too old for this... even on Earth, things were similar. Those in power never let the lower ones rise. The big shots manipulate and command, while the small sects and the weak are the ones who really fight and suffer,’ Bruno thought to himself.
Alm huffed: ’Kaiyka is a missionary, she’s smart and capable too. Not to mention there was a reward from Heaven’s Will to receive after defeating that Divine Inquisitor. She must have found a way to survive.’
They both sighed; they could locate the two through the array, but only after leaving that place since everything was sealed.
The whale turned to Purimu, watching her closely. Ruri might resent a bit for not having seen her niece grow up, but she had become a capable woman... she just needed a bit of calm. But he couldn’t blame her; she really couldn’t trust a stranger in the middle of such a big war.
As they analyzed, Alm and Bruno felt a karmic connection with her. Maybe it was because they created her race?
While they pondered, Purimu regained consciousness, and upon seeing their gaze on her, she shouted: "You pervert!"
"It’s hard to find a place to look when you’re wearing so little," Bruno said, getting annoyed, "But I was looking into your eyes! Stop accusing me unjustly! If your aunt hears that, things will get ugly."
She huffed, clearly suspicious and not believing them.
"What is this place?" they asked seriously.
"This is the black sealed world, located in the Kingdom of the Beast galaxy," Purimu replied on her own. She didn’t know exactly why, but she felt he wouldn’t harm her. "This sealed world only opens every ten thousand years, being a legendary region for beast races."
"So, this is an event created by the heroes, just like the Convention that happened in the past? Did they announce the prizes?" Bruno asked.
She nodded: "Yes, just before I was born, there was a convention; it’s the same. That’s where my uncle made a name for himself as someone..."
"Enough fanboying. I know; I was the one who did that. What are the prizes?" Alm cut in impatiently.
She scoffed sarcastically and shot him an angry look: "The first Supreme Empyrean of the universe will emerge here as the top prize. He will be the first at the maximum level, ready for the final contest to become a hero. This will give an incalculable advantage over the others."
"And why didn’t everyone from the sect and the alliance come?" Bruno asked, confused.
She looked at him; obviously, this was a secret she couldn’t reveal. She thought for a moment and remembered that Rehvka and others had taught her that many universes existed, and that powerful people could come to this one by luck.
Maybe he could really be a newcomer who wasn’t part of any alliance. The reason he was pretending to be someone he wasn’t still needed to be investigated. As for his power, it was peculiar; maybe she could recruit him. She remembered her Master saying that if she used her charm...
"Ugh!" She made a disgusted face just thinking about it while looking at the figure in front of her.
Purimu said dryly, choosing not to care: "Master and the others secretly infiltrated the core of our galaxy... they discovered that the Shadow God Sect had something there. I can’t say much, but it was more important than this here. I and other generals were assigned to this minor event. My uncle’s power is immeasurable, and having a Supreme Empyrean doesn’t make a difference..."
Alm and Bruno sighed, opting to ignore her lengthy final words. Clearly, their niece had heard too much about them and had formed a deified and stereotyped image of them. Because of that, she couldn’t accept the reality in front of her... although, they could really steal that power later, so it didn’t matter if an enemy gained it now.

If she were a follower of the religion, they wouldn’t care about that attitude. But they didn’t want that from someone so close.
"I understand. And what exactly is this event?" Bruno asked calmly.
She explained: "It’s a treasure hunt. This is the Firmament world, and the treasure of this sealed world is born here. It’s called the Soul-Wind Gem. According to the heroes, there will be a point count done by them at the end. The first place will win the top prize. But there will be a ranking of the top thousand, so many will benefit; that’s why the alliances sent everyone they could."
Bruno realized something. "Wait... How long is left, and will the heroes come in person?"
"There are three days left, and yes, they will come in person... or... I’m not sure, I heard rumors that the heroes left just before the event starts."
She answered with some doubt. The heroes she was referring to were those common ones summoned to the universe, not the immortals. No one should know those immortals were there.
’Everyone here was chasing us and left the universe; I find it hard to believe the Queen will let them return for something so small. Probably, an immortal hero will take care of this quickly and kick everyone out,’ Alm thought.
The whale asked, "Wait, can we get out of here?"
"Of course not. The cowards are outside, searching through the bones. This place is sealed, and everyone here has to fight to the end; there’s no way out once you enter."
She replied dryly, and Bruno sighed. Now they were trapped; if they waited for the hero to come complete the event, he would surely find them. But if they tried to force their way out, they might alert them.
’Or we could use this to our advantage,’ Alm said coldly.
The whale declared, "Kid, take me to the others."
"Impossible," she shot back without hesitation. "This place is much bigger than the outer sealed world. Everyone who enters pops up in random locations, and communication methods are useless here. I don’t know where they are. I could only gather those who appeared in this area and surrounded the place as my domain. That way, we can search for the treasure safely."
Suddenly, a bloodied figure appeared on the horizon, causing both of them to turn in its direction. It was a Barbarian Fey, and his voice sounded harsh: "Leader Purimu, we’re being massacred! Many have died!"
"How? Impossible!" She widened her eyes in shock.
