The atmosphere turned cold and tense. Mihkriel’s eyes widened as he felt immense pressure on his back from their stares. He glanced at Ruri, staring deeply at her, his hand on his chin, contemplating her curves.

Ruri sensed his thoughts, and a wave of disgust hit her. Without hesitation, she scoffed and channeled her laws to attack furiously.

"Calm down," Bruno intervened immediately, sensing the looming disaster. "Mihkriel, have you already forgotten how you got here? You were saved once. You should learn from your past mistakes."

Mihkriel’s eyes narrowed. He turned coldly toward Bruno, but before he could speak, Bruno continued, "Listen, I’ve seen enough of the Queen to understand. I know the risks, but she’s built a power that’s impossible to beat alone. Our will to defeat her is insignificant. Any tiny chance we get, we have to take it. If we play it safe, we’ll never even come close to scratching her. We have to keep pushing, thinking of the future."

"Hmph, speak for yourself. Don’t try to force your narrow worldview on others. I prefer to get the maximum gains, as fast as possible. If you want to waste resources, time, and take risks, that’s your choice." Mihkriel replied dryly, turning again to Ruri with a slight smile. "You saved me once, I don’t want to be rude…"

He spoke, and his eyes gleamed in a grayish hue. The laws of Chaos flowed around him quickly like a supreme aura. "I’m not the same as before. I’ve taken my technique to another level."

It was obvious he wanted to show off to her. Bruno just scoffed—this idiot thought there was some kind of competition here? Bruno was way beyond that. They had gained immortal knowledge of the laws of Chaos, and compared to that, Mihkriel’s little display looked pitiful.

Quickly, they focused their energy, and using their tattoos, they influenced the surrounding laws. In seconds, Mihkriel’s use of the Chaos laws was disrupted, then petrified.

Mihkriel was instantly alarmed by the interference. He glanced at Kakarotto, realizing it was him. Then a sarcastic smile crept onto his face.

"Looks like you’ve learned my technique well. But unfortunately, I’m good at many things," Mihkriel sneered and raised his hand, distorting time and space rapidly. But...

"You bastard!" Ruri’s voice echoed, followed by...

*CRACK!*

Alm and Bruno sighed as they watched Ruri break Mihkriel’s space-time laws. She appeared in front of him as if emerging from thin air. Without hesitation, she delivered a precise and violent kick—hitting a very sensitive spot for any man.

Mihkriel flew a few meters and crashed to the ground, followed by loud and pitiful groans of pain. Corin and Maelik, who had also been angry, now swallowed nervously, feeling sorry for the poor man.

After a minute, Mihkriel stopped. He got to his knees, trembling, and then stood up with his face twisted in pain. "You…"

He drew his saber in rage, the sharp sound of it cutting through the air. In that instant, Corin and Maelik narrowed their eyes—he actually had the nerve.

Mihkriel barely managed to form a sentence or swing his saber before the two moved, advancing toward him.

He sneered and tried to slash at Corin, but with a simple movement, a black feather appeared, piercing his blind spot.

Mihkriel quickly shifted to the right, trying to block, but in the same second, Corin’s spear pierced his back. It was a dual strike, precise and perfectly timed. Blocking both at once was impossible, and their power was not to be underestimated.

Mihkriel roared, realizing the problem. "FUCK THIS!" He reached for something...

"Know your place, you trash!" Ruri’s voice rang out again.

CRACK!

Before Mihkriel could react, time itself seemed to reverse. It was like a recorded scene, playing backward. And once again, Ruri appeared, delivering another precise kick to that key area, sending him flying.

Maelik and Corin halted their attacks, feeling a chill down their spines. Ruri had clearly been malicious, adding mental power to the kick to lower his defenses and cause even more pain.

The poor man flew several meters, rolling on the ground clutching himself. His wails were heartbreaking.

"Pathetic," Ruri spat. "Without your cheat, you’re nothing. Want to try again? This time, I’ll cut—actually, I mean, I’ll kick even harder!" She changed mid-sentence, catching the serious looks from Alm and Bruno in her direction.

The three men sighed heavily. After two minutes, Mihkriel stood up slowly, this time not daring to attack again. He realized he was in a tough spot. His Chaos laws had been nullified, and his second greatest strength, space-time laws, proved inferior to that woman’s.

As for Chromaraic and the Ancestral Devil, they couldn’t be taken lightly either. Their attacks were like snakes striking from his blind spots, and to make matters worse, they moved in perfect sync, as if they were one person.

In other words, Mihkriel had been completely shut down, and the true power of that other missionary hadn’t even been used yet. His face twisted in fury; he couldn’t accept the humiliation.

"Hahaha… do you really think you’re on the same level?"

Mihkriel let out a bitter laugh. Without making a single move or causing any fluctuations, something on his body lit up. It was something stuck in his clothes.

"A talisman?" Ruri’s eyes widened in surprise. She immediately remembered Yue happily practicing and studying talismans, recognizing it right away.

"You think you can compare yourself to a missionary?!" He spoke, smiling sarcastically. "Come on, let’s see how you’ll handle…"

**BANG!**

Suddenly, everyone took a step back, startled. The violent, thunderous sound of a shot echoed. Then Mihkriel placed a hand on his chest…

**BANG! BANG! BANG!**

He fell to his knees, blood splattering everywhere. Multiple holes appeared in his chest. His heart and core were pierced with precision—lethal, surgical strikes.

Alm and Bruno widened their eyes. They didn’t feel any movement, only noticing the fluctuations after the shot had already been fired. Their gazes turned to a point about a hundred meters behind Mihkriel.

A small Alv woman was lying there, atop a small mound of earth, holding something that resembled a rifle from Earth.

She slowly stood up, expressionless. Her black, shoulder-length hair highlighted her slim figure of around five feet three inches. She looked human, bearing a clear resemblance to Ruri’s family from Pristine Planet, but her pure Alv bloodline was unmistakable.

The figure slung the rifle over her back and, in a second, began moving toward them.

"...ah," a weak groan escaped Mihkriel’s lips in his last moments.

Bruno snapped out of his stupor and quickly rushed to him, using whatever little faith power he had gained in recent days to keep him alive.

The woman reached the group. The three, still stunned, stared at her, but they didn’t feel any animosity or threat—only a connection.

Silently, she stopped in front of Kakarotto and stared deeply at him. Soon, an intense emotion welled up in her eyes, which became moist, and she quickly bowed her head.

"My Lord…" she said without lifting her face. "It’s me, Thea. I’ve been waiting for your arrival. I hope I can help you somehow."

Everyone was speechless. Did she remember who she was?

Alm and Bruno snorted and turned their attention back to the most pressing matter. Mihkriel was quickly healed but remained on the ground, still in shock.

"How… how…" he muttered, nervously glancing at Kakarotto. "What was that? Did you sense the movement?"

"No," Bruno answered without hesitation. "But it doesn’t matter. She’s one of my allies, and you’ve clearly seen the ability of the four of them, haven’t you? Do you still think you’re superior to them?"

"What the hell did you do?! How is this possible…" He mumbled, catatonic.

Bruno spoke coldly, "Trying to be great on your own and doing everything with your own hands is foolish and unproductive. Even the Queen creates Heroes and Divine Inquisitors knowing this. I create people to be my extra hands when needed; they are not lesser than me. Anyway… I have this ability, and the people and races from this place can be very useful to me; you can’t kill them."

Mihkriel slowly got to his feet, dumbfounded. "Wait, you brought people from outside with you? That’s ridiculous."

Alm and Bruno snorted while Ruri and the others glared at him coldly. This time, Mihkriel trembled, scared: "Wait, you don’t understand. Your mission is impossible to accomplish with many people. In fact, every mission I get is designed for one person to complete."

"Why do you say that?" Alm asked dryly.

"Once, in the past, I had already become a Divine Inquisitor and tried to reach the divine planet," Mihkriel quickly said. "But I discovered something strange. A group of Divine Inquisitors appeared, technically in the same Animus Cultivation Realm as me, but the difference between us was like heaven and earth."

"I was surrounded, and they told me: Among all those who ascended from the three realms, only one who obtained a golden box and absorbed its contents was considered to have passed the test. Everyone else who ascended without passing the test was returned to the reincarnation cycle to try again."

Alm and Bruno nodded, understanding—Tuzwu had already hinted at this, insisting on wanting one of the three boxes to ascend.

"I died there and came back. It was more about the approach before discovering that I didn’t get the box; apparently, even after doing that, the cultivator was captured, then something happens."

Mihkriel looked seriously at Kakarotto: "There are only three golden boxes per generation. Only three pass the test; everyone else fails. Bringing these people was pointless! Did you hear me? Bringing them doesn’t help at all… and…" He stopped mid-sentence, swallowing hard as he felt the piercing gazes of the four around him.

"I’ll figure it out. Doing things the obvious way doesn’t bring me enough benefits, and with them by my side, my specialty becomes more evident." Alm said with a sarcastic smile. "I like creating chaos and destroying everything I don’t like. Then I take everything I want with me; I’m a simple person to understand."

After he spoke, Mihkriel’s gaze turned confused. Soon, that look shifted to ridicule, with a touch of anger.

Alm and Bruno concluded: he’s a complete fool. Inside him existed only arrogance—and more arrogance—along with a feeling of inferiority and a desperate need to prove to himself that he could do everything. But he wasn’t malicious, nor did he intend to do evil covertly. He just hadn’t learned anything from his past mistakes, which made him an irredeemable idiot.

"Listen, just stay quiet and trust me for a while. I saved you before, and back then, you thought it was impossible, right? Feel this…" Bruno said, and then the rune of his inventory opened.

A dense fluctuation of Chaos laws flowed out. Mihkriel’s eyes widened. "What? I feel the fluctuation of my Chaos Seed! It grew? How?!"

"Yes, I used your technique along with others and developed a Chaos Tree. If you obey, I’ll give you what I made. You can use it as a foundation and follow another path, completing your own technique," Bruno replied calmly. "Just give me a year. If I get what I want, you’ll complete your mission too. But if I fail, you can try your plan or think of something else."

Mihkriel’s eyes sparkled. He took a deep breath—they wouldn’t lose anything by this. He just had to stay quiet and hidden. Even if the missionary’s plan failed in a year, he had already implanted his parasitic runes. Finishing it all would be simple.

He spoke dryly, "Alright…"

"Give me back the golden box; I’ll need it." Kakarotto said, extending his hand.

Mihkriel sighed and handed it over. Then he turned, and his gaze met Thea’s. She had kept a murderous aura focused on him the entire time.

"My Lord’s wish is to spare you, so I’ll let you live a little longer. Be grateful," she said coldly.

He snorted and used spatial laws to leave quickly. Earlier, Ruri had undone the formation covering the planet. He headed for some distant planet… or so everyone thought.

Mihkriel kept moving, and soon, he disappeared into the darkness, distancing himself from any planet or the three empires.

He had only one thought in mind and clenched his fists. Meanwhile, Alm and Bruno ignored him. They were sure Mihkriel wouldn’t do anything malicious, or they’d sense it immediately.

But… they couldn’t predict just how stupid someone with an inferiority complex and the support of Heaven’s Will could be.
