"Master, when I witnessed the removal of the golden box, it took days," Maelik quickly said.

Alm and Bruno thought fast. How could a Divine Inquisitor appear in the Empire of New Order? Something very unfamiliar was happening, and they had no clue what it was, making everything even more dangerous.

’We can’t just let this happen. This unknown figure will take our last golden box. Without it, mastering Anima cultivation could be impossible. The boxes are formed once per generation, and in the worst-case scenario, we’d have to wait an entire generation to get another one,’ Bruno commented seriously.

Alm sighed. They had already spent 12,000 years in that place; they couldn’t afford to wait any longer. Maybe this was an opportunity for something they didn’t yet understand.

"Let’s go quickly. Everything in this empire is ready," Kakarotto said, and everyone nodded in agreement.

But...

Another person came running into the room, exclaiming in shock, "King! The imperial planet of the New Order Empire has been completely sealed off from the outside world. Strange spatial runes are covering the entire place; it’s impossible to get in. We’ve lost all contact."

Corin remembered something serious: "Yes, we have our spies on the planet." He quickly moved toward a room and, using the king’s emblem, pulled out dozens of crystals. He noticed that a dozen of them were completely shattered. He held the few remaining ones...

*Crack!*

They quickly started to break. Corin turned to Kakarotto with a pained expression. "These are life-connected crystals... they’re being killed. And there’s no reason to believe it’s just them..."

"Ruri," Bruno said, turning to her. She nodded; there was no more reason to wait or hesitate. Many of their allies could be in danger. The situation seemed far worse and stranger than they had imagined.

They left the castle and reached the open air. Ruri calculated the direction of the imperial planet. Soon, Corin and Maelik joined her, and she activated all her variant space laws.

The group shot toward the planet. Within seconds, they stopped and activated their internal laws to hover briefly. They stood before the massive planet, their eyes widening as they saw it covered in runes and felt its presence.

"This... this is a legitimate spatial formation. And it has Qi!" Corin exclaimed.

Alm and Bruno noticed the same thing. Since it was a formation, Ruri could easily open it, but she didn’t possess Qi, and doing it with just the laws was an experience she’d never had. It would take time for her to do it alone.

"We can’t wait. I’ll interfere with the Qi and freeze it. Just open a passage for us to break in," Bruno said quickly, and Ruri nodded.

The Yin and Yang tattoos flared to their maximum power. Although the formation contained Qi, it was a small amount. They could easily influence it for a brief moment, and Ruri would open a passage.

Kakarotto snorted, and two seconds later, all the Qi in the formation runes destabilized. Space began to tremble violently, and the next second, the Qi froze. Ruri nodded, and a small crack appeared; immediately, they shot through it, entering the planet.

A dense Yin of death could be felt in various places as they descended through the atmosphere. Fortunately, the planet didn’t rotate, and only half of it was populated; the rest was completely barren. Alm quickly sensed a point where the Yin was currently rising.

They moved at full speed, arriving at an open field. Piles of bodies were stacked high, and the stench of blood was overwhelming. In the center, there was a city, and thunderous sounds echoed within its walls.

Above, space distorted, causing a figure to float and move rapidly with every instant. It was a male Alv, with a humanoid, slim physique, appearing very young, like a teenager. He held a saber dripping with blood, and with every swing of the blade, waves of destruction resonated.

’He can’t even be 20 years old. He’s already a Divine Inquisitor, and his core is stabilized. Damn... what the hell are we dealing with?’ Bruno thought seriously.

"Master..." Ruri murmured, and they all looked at him, gripping their weapons tightly.

Alm spoke quickly, "Attack together. He looks dangerous and probably has plenty of tricks up his sleeve. We need to surprise him and end it without giving him a chance."

The three nodded and swiftly moved into formation. With memories from all their lives and experience in this cultivation, they could already use their laws perfectly, just as they did with Qi.

Corin pulled out a spear, and his laws covered his body, forming a multicolored armor. It was a different method than he used with physical cultivation. But without Qi and with physical cultivation unavailable, this was more effective.

Ruri didn’t assume her true form; she needed to manipulate space, and a Lotus body was uncomfortable for her. Her spatial power covered Corin and Maelik, and the two disappeared, suddenly appearing behind the figure.

*CLANG!*

Corin attacked directly, as precise, lethal, and fast as possible. But the figure had already moved to defend before the attack even came, as if he had predicted the future.

The weapons clashed, and both exchanged surprised looks. But that Alv felt the world around him close in. His eyes widened... superior spatial laws had trapped him?

But he didn’t have time to think, quickly turning around without even looking, striking with his saber. Black feathers appeared around him. They were made of the purest Yin of death, carrying an incomparable destructive power.

However, that figure’s saber cut through the feathers, and they simply lost their energy without exploding.

Maelik was shocked. How was it nullified? But the amount of Yin death energy around was so immense that he just snorted, and dozens of new feathers shot out. He didn’t hold back, and quickly, dozens more formed, surrounding the figure and attacking.

He thought maybe it was the saber. If that were the case, a single blade couldn’t cut through so many simultaneous attacks. But... the figure, completely expressionless, just took a deep breath and didn’t move the blade.

At that moment, all the Yin feathers froze in the air around him, making Maelik disbelieve what he saw.

In that second, Corin roared and thrust his spear into the smallest opening. The Alv snorted, and the laws from his core, those of a Divine Inquisitor, were activated. The figure just made a smooth gesture with his hand toward Corin, and at the same time, his entire body pulsed with a strange energy.

*BOOM!*

It was as if the laws of the world had twisted and attacked Corin. He felt like he had slammed into a steel wall, and then an invisible hammer violently threw him to the ground.

Maelik, on the other hand, was completely stunned. He looked at the figure and felt its laws. He was sure those weren’t laws created based on the methods of the three empires. Worse still, it didn’t even belong to the nine laws!

"That... law of chaos?!" Maelik muttered.

The figure heard and turned to him, surprised that he had figured it out. But in a matter of seconds, he instinctively felt danger... moved his blade to the side... or tried to, because time seemed to reverse, and his blade returned to its previous position.

Then, he felt his whole body petrify, and his laws were completely sealed. A hand grabbed his neck, lifting him into the air.

That Alv stared, completely shocked, at the Primordial Elemental Spirit that had suddenly overpowered him. Panic consumed him—his entire power had been sealed inside himself. How was this even possible?

Alm and Bruno snorted, coldly locking eyes with the Alv. "It’s over. If you try anything, I’ll kill you, and your soul will be searched."

A murderous aura surrounded the Alv, but... he just stared at the figure without any reaction, as if it was irrelevant.

After a moment, the Alv’s eyes visibly widened in shock. He spoke, astonished, "You... you’re him?!"
