Kakarotto was still sitting on his throne, a violet lotus flower gently spinning in his right palm. To his left stood a demonic figure, silently observing everything.

Kakarotto looked at Mamdar and calmly said, "You got lucky last time. Now that you’ve come to me, how do you want to die? If you want an easy death, go ahead and kill yourself. If I have to do it, it won’t be pretty."

Mamdar was about to explode with anger at being belittled. He saw the river of blood left by the six clans and would be a fool not to realize how strong Kakarotto was. However, the clan leaders didn’t move.

They were hidden, and although the loss of their members was painful, it didn’t compare to the empire’s throne at stake. Several of their clans were still alive, and strangely, some members had retreated and didn’t plan to participate. Soon, it was just a matter of multiplying later.

Mamdar felt a hint of confidence. He was a True Emperor, far superior to the cultivators from the clans, except for the leaders. Even alone, he wouldn’t die easily. Now, commanding the central army, his chances of victory and becoming the new king seemed clear.

"Do you think you’re invincible?" Mamdar roared, his eyes filled with fury.

"That’s right, I am invincible," Kakarotto replied without even looking directly at Mamdar, focusing on the distant crowd. "Anyone who wants to challenge me, come. I’ll show you just how unbeatable I am."

Not even a True Emperor would dare to make such a declaration, but Kakarotto just did it in front of everyone.

The onlookers smiled ironically. This king hadn’t changed at all. When he was weak, they thought he was a fool. Now that he showed strength, there was only one word to describe him: insane. His nature remained the same; what had changed was just how others saw him.

Mamdar took a deep breath and roared, "Alright. Now I’m the leader, skilled at commanding troops in battle, adept…"

"Stop, you don’t need to be indirect," Kakarotto interrupted. "Just say you’re going to attack with your mediocre army. What nonsense is this about leading troops into battle?"

Mamdar turned red. He was clearly trying to justify his participation with the troops, knowing his chances in a direct duel weren’t solid enough.

"Hundred, thousand men, or your entire army, it doesn’t matter," Kakarotto declared indifferently. "It’s better if you all come at once, so I can save my time."

The crowd trembled. Suddenly, they had a vision: Kakarotto waving his hand and massacring millions. Bones piled up like mountains, and rivers of blood overflowed.

His villainous smile made it clear that this was just another ordinary day for him. And suddenly, everyone believed he would actually do it. No one could escape when he decided.

Mamdar responded coldly, "That’s why a tyrant like you lost the people’s trust. All your friends and followers have abandoned you…"

"Stop preaching," Kakarotto cut him off again. "I don’t need a sermon from a worm. Gather everyone and attack at once, or I’ll kill you myself right now."

Mamdar’s expression darkened. He roared, "Form the formation, let’s see what he can do today!"

"FORMATION!" At his command, the central army roared in unison.

Insignias on their armor shone brightly. It was a large formation created by the inscriptions, connecting their power, synchronizing attack and defense.

"You created some interesting things in the past. Was this based on the array?" Kakarotto murmured softly, gently caressing the violet lotus.

’Hmm... it’s something pretty simple; I didn’t really know what I was doing. Please, don’t take it seriously, or I’ll be embarrassed.’ Ruri responded mentally.

Mamdar raised a large circular shield. In the center was the same inscription as the soldiers’ armor.

*Buzz!*

With a buzzing sound, countless laws floated around Mamdar. The majestic power flowing from the army to him made them all seem like one. They could fight together, and their strengths would easily unite. Thousands were fighting as one.

This only worked in a frightening way because there was no Qi involved. Uniting the power of many through only somewhat similar laws was possible. In the common world, Qi couldn’t be shared this way. That’s why the array was so magical, able to share any power and Qi without issues.

Mamdar’s great shield pulsed with power, shining brightly. In his other hand, he wielded a spear. His stance was imposing as he looked at the world with disdain.

"Evil king, come fight now!" He declared proudly, his eyes shining with confidence.

"You’re pathetic for rebelling with such mediocre skills," Kakarotto shot a brief glance at him before concluding, "A piece of trash like you is considered a genius of the empire? That’s truly humiliating."

"Do you dare to fight or not?!" Mamdar roared, knowing that his greatest trump card was in the shield, which made him better at defense and counterattack. Attacking directly would diminish his chances.

"Boring," Kakarotto replied unemotionally. "I can barely warm up fighting an ant like you. Alright, let’s see what you’ve got."

He waved his hand, and immediately the world went dark. In five seconds, two thousand multicolored blades formed, shining brightly. The spectators shuddered at the spectacle.

Then Kakarotto waved again, and the world seemed to split as the blades sliced through everything at once. Mamdar, sweating bullets, raised his shield and gave it his all to defend himself.

*BOOOM!!!*

The shockwave crushed the area, like an army of giants stomping everything down or a thousand volcanoes erupting at the same time.

A few seconds passed before the crowd could see Mamdar, shaking in front of his army. To everyone’s surprise, he was still alive, as was the central army!

This partial victory earned him some admiration from a few onlookers, who were impressed by his defensive power.

Mamdar took a deep breath and, with an arrogant grin, pointed his spear directly at Kakarotto. "Is this all you’ve got?"

"Hahahahahaha!" The reply was a booming laugh.

All eyes turned to Kakarotto. Most believed the king wouldn’t lose because his true strength was unfathomable. They were just curious to see his next move.

"Bragging shamelessly when this is all you have? Alright, I haven’t even warmed up yet, but maybe you’ll manage to entertain me a little." Kakarotto said calmly, slowly rising from his throne.

"The king is finally getting serious!" The spectators murmured, eyes glued to his every move, afraid to miss any detail.

Mamdar was irritated by all the attention the king was getting but forced himself to stay calm. ’If I win, all this attention will be mine,’ he thought.

From afar, someone whispered, "How many moves can Mamdar withstand?"

"I think he can handle five. With the central army backing him, he’s not just using his own power. Plus, the shield is formidable," a young cultivator replied.

The space around them shimmered, and everyone on the planet felt the laws washing over them, taken by a divine presence.

"Let’s see what you’ve got!" Mamdar roared in anger.

The world shook as he took a defensive stance, shield in front and spear parallel to his waist, ready to thrust. It was a perfect posture, balancing attack and defense.

Kakarotto smiled slightly and began to descend the stairs. His walk seemed simple, showing no power, but the tension in the air made everyone hold their breath in anticipation.

Suddenly, he clenched his fists... then disappeared.

He moved so fast that even the sound couldn’t keep up. The space rippled under his speed, breaking known limits.

**KABOOM!**

Shock and dread washed over the spectators. They watched, incredulous, as Kakarotto struck the huge shield with a simple punch.

The shield shattered instantly, as if it were made of glass, and Mamdar was sent flying back like a missile, spitting blood.

Only then did the sound of the impact reach the crowd’s ears. Kakarotto had accelerated his own perception of time, creating an illusion of temporal stagnation. When time flowed normally again, the crowd finally understood what had happened.

Just seconds ago, they were debating how many moves Mamdar could withstand. Some thought it would be five, while others were less optimistic. But no one had predicted that the king would destroy the shield and knock Mamdar down with just one punch.

The crowd fell silent, dumbfounded and shocked.

"See how ridiculous you are? Bragging with such insignificant power," Kakarotto said casually, putting his hands behind his back as if he hadn’t moved. Around him, a small purple lotus floated serenely.

’Good job, your understanding of the laws of time is almost on par with your laws of space,’ Bruno said mentally to Ruri.

The spectators, still stunned, finally regained their composure and turned their gazes back to Kakarotto, feeling a chill run down their spines. The king’s power far exceeded anything they could imagine.

Before this, many thought King Vulke had gone senile or was just favoring his illegitimate son too much. However, in retrospect, they realized he was perfectly lucid in choosing the ideal successor for the empire.

"How does he compare to King Vulke?" This thought permeated many minds.

During his era, Vulke’s prestige overshadowed all other empires. No one dared challenge him. Now, after his death, people started evaluating his true power and contributions. And now, they were comparing him to this new king.

"Maybe he’s the second King Vulke," someone whispered.

The crowd was even more shaken to hear that, some needed to take a deep breath. No one dared respond.

Just for the sects and clans from the other empires, this wasn’t good news. They had lived under the terror of Vulke’s total authority. The thought of a second king being that powerful was downright terrifying.

*Splash!*

The sound of splashing water broke the crowd’s thoughts. Mamdar, who had fallen into one of the nine rivers, was struggling to emerge from its depths.

With the help of his spear, he finally managed to stand up, showing serious wounds and several broken pieces of his armor. The shield he was holding was in tatters, and blood was dripping from the corners of his mouth. His pitiful state was a stark contrast to the imposing image he had before.

"You’ve got some serious willpower just to get back up," Kakarotto said dryly.

"Don’t celebrate too soon. We still don’t know who’s gonna smile last!" Mamdar shouted, spitting out a lot of blood afterward.

"Really? Are you counting on those old folks hiding to save you?" Kakarotto smirked in disdain. "Well, I’ve been waiting for them for a long time. But for you... your time’s up."

Mamdar’s eyes went wide, feeling solid death surrounding him. Swallowing his fear, he glanced back at the central army. The biggest flaw in that formation was that the soldiers became vulnerable if the leader didn’t protect them. All their laws were flowing into one, and they couldn’t defend themselves properly in an extreme situation.

But they were all just standing there, and Kakarotto didn’t seem to care about wiping them out. Mamdar still held their power to use!

"Die!" Mamdar roared, his body shining as brightly as a star. He charged toward Kakarotto, wielding his shattered shield.

A massive wave of power, combined with the laws of an entire army, surged directly at Kakarotto. He, on the other hand, looked tiny, about to be crushed by the overwhelming force.

"Way too weak," Kakarotto shook his head in disapproval. "In the end, it didn’t even serve as a warm-up."

With a casual gesture, he opened his palm and pushed forward. The difference in size between that palm and the wave of power in front of him created a nearly comical scene. Then they collided.

*Crack!*

Surprisingly, that carefree move from Kakarotto was enough to stop Mamdar in his tracks. He couldn’t move an inch, unable to affect even his opponent’s palm.

Kakarotto smoothly moved his other hand, making a fist. And then, he punched!

"No!"

*Pluff!*

Mamdar exploded into a mist of blood. At the same time, the entire central army, linked to him, felt an overwhelming force surge through their bodies via their connection to Mamdar.

In the next second, all thousands of soldiers began to tremble and then burst into a rain of blood.

The crowd held their breath, horrified by what they had just witnessed. But before they could react, something even more shocking happened, and their eyes widened in disbelief.

"What?"

Someone murmured, confused. Everyone saw the same thing, equally bewildered: six blades had pierced Kakarotto’s chest.

In the next instant, six old men, leaders of six of the eight most powerful clans in the empire, appeared behind him, wielding the weapons that had stabbed him.

"You’re powerful, but way too young and arrogant," said an ancient voice filled with malice. "Goodbye."

The six leaders tightened their grips on their blades, and the power of the nine laws exploded at its maximum.

From a distance, the audience only saw Kakarotto’s figure disappear as if he had evaporated, leaving not even a drop of blood behind.
