Mistie kept a thoughtful look for a few seconds, pretending to analyze the information, while the whale pondered in silence. At the exact moment Alm internally accepted Bruno’s words, a green window appeared in front of them.

[01 Optional Golden Quest Available!]

[Free the Primordial Dragon]

[Reward 01: 170 Upgrade Points]

[Reward 02: System Upgrades]

[Accept?] [Yes / No]

’How can this be optional?’ Alm muttered, irritated. ’They’re even offering us upgrades to this miserable system. Well, screw it.’

They accepted immediately. The previous optional quest involved acquiring the Master Key and had already been completed. The reward was 10 celestial points and Divine Level Celestial Knowledge, beyond the available options. They needed to think carefully about what they wanted, so they delayed that decision. (Chapter 730)

Bruno quickly came up with a plan, then told Mistie to follow the initial plan. At the same time, he sent detailed instructions through the array to everyone involved. Rehvka and Maelik were already hidden in that world, near the seal. To handle the situation, they decided to trust that the others would complete dangerous and potentially deadly missions.

Mistie turned her attention to the Chromaraic woman with a serious look. "I understand, the situation is complicated, and a lot of abnormal things have been happening recently. So, I must be extremely cautious."

"No problem," the woman replied with a slight smile. "Your loyalty is admirable, but we must move forward. We can’t waste any more time."

The Fey nodded in agreement. Everyone moved silently towards the central building, descending to the basement, where the transportation formation was.

Meanwhile, Alm and Bruno were working on their inventories. They created two Duality of Shadows law runes and sent them through the array. Everyone entered the transportation formation as the sect’s High Elders prepared to transport millions of people at the same time.

At the same time, on planet Gloom, two shadows moved swiftly through the dense black forest. Quirio and Idris headed in opposite directions as fast as they could.

Almin, after making the pill, stayed hidden in the sect beside an unconscious Lyra. She was about to wake up, so he was waiting. He also heard everything and received orders, then quickly moved, carrying her in his arms.

He met with Ruri and the others outside the planet. Everyone had focused expressions, fully aware of the tough situation they were facing.

When everything was ready, Ruri turned; behind her, countless spatial distortions began to emerge. In that instant, thousands of space-time beasts from the four races appeared. They were the most powerful elite, all at the peak of divine cultivation.

"Let’s go," Ruri said, and a space distortion took them to a region not too far away.

When they vanished, it was the moment the whale and millions of cultivators arrived again at the small world where the seal was located.

That distorted, chaotic world enveloped them with its pressure. However, the Divine Inquisitors gestured, and a strange power completely sealed the draconic laws of that place. They didn’t need the heroic decree, as their power, though different, was no less than that of a true hero.

The Dragons took a deep breath in that oppressive environment. With everything prepared, the group quickly moved toward the seal.

Alm and Bruno monitored everyone’s movements through the array. Upon realizing the nature of the Divine Inquisitors’ power, they ordered Rehvka and Maelik to hide near the seal, fearing detection. The problem now was that the large group was rapidly approaching the site; they needed to buy time.

In seconds, they found the first remains of the heroes’ companions. Everyone was searching for the old human, looking for the heroic decree.

According to Mistie, during the escape, the Primordial Dragon escaped with just a sliver of its soul, almost powerless. The Leviathan’s son forced it to burn most of that soul, allowing them to escape with Behemoth’s protection afterward.

For them to have escaped, that soul remnant must have been almost completely destroyed. Because of that, it would be impossible to activate or even grab the heroic decree immediately; it would take time to gather enough energy. There was a high chance the old human’s body and that decree were still in the same place.

Not much remained of the dead. However, the six survivors and the old human were companions of the same hero. They had a technique that connected them, allowing them to locate even fragments of their bodies.

But... there was nothing left of that human. When Alm and Bruno killed him, they put everything in their inventories. This was the perfect opportunity to buy time.

’Ruri, ask her to shift the laws of this place, just for a second.’

The whale sent a quick message through the array, feeling 40% of his Qi vanish instantly. Ruri was far from the planet, and despite the new array allowing communication with anyone within the universe, the cost was enormous, impractical for casual use currently.

Ruri couldn’t reply, but she heard the instructions.

In a matter of seconds, the three Divine Inquisitors narrowed their eyes. Everyone felt the laws of that sealed world tremble, albeit too late.

*CRACK!*

The laws were frozen by the three, but suddenly they shattered, violently moving. A deadly Yin attack hit them, forcing them to push their cultivation to the limit to defend themselves. Mistie stood next to the whale, pretending to protect him.

In an instant, the chaos stopped. Amid the confusion, no one noticed that the whale’s eyes had changed.

"We need to run! That evil beast managed to gather too much power," the demon roared, and everyone turned forward, moving as fast as they could.

That small world wasn’t large; it would take just a few minutes to cross, and they had just arrived. With tense expressions, they moved immediately.

A few seconds later, the demon spotted something in a corner. "It’s him!"

Everyone turned and saw the body of that old, headless human, slumped in a nearby corner.

Recovering the heroic decree was crucial. With it, they could access a fraction of a hero’s power, something valuable until reinforcements arrived. The demon and the other five companions rushed forward... but then a subtle fluctuation, normally undetectable, was felt by just one person.

"Wait!"

*BOOM!!!*

The Chromaraic woman roared, but it was too late. A strange, abnormal power erupted from the lifeless body. A wave of destruction spread out, but the six were powerful and at the peak of their cultivation.

When the dust settled, the demon, who was closest, was covered in blood. The androgynous Divine Inquisitor, looking at the wounds, noticed something alarming.

"This is impossible... this law... Yin and Yang are perfectly fused…"

Everyone’s eyes widened in shock. "Damn, that Chaos Dragon mastered the Yin pole, but Primordial Dragons aren’t born with that affinity. Is it possible… yeah, she must’ve mutated her power somehow," Alv said seriously, making everyone swallow hard.

Though the explosion wasn’t strong enough to kill them, the energy it released was terrifying, easily penetrating the demon’s defenses. It was an unknown power, with frightening potential.

Now, they found themselves in a minefield. Ahead, a large pile of shattered bodies lay—the spot where the first attack had occurred. If each of those parts had the same power… and everything exploded at once?

Alv and the androgynous Divine Inquisitor turned to the Chromaraic woman, who sighed.

"I control Yin and Yang separately. Merging the two like this is impossible, and I don’t know what this implies. Besides, I didn’t even sense these laws until they blew up…"

Everyone reflected. The group was large, and they could split up, taking the edges as a detour. But that would take more time to reach their goal, and splitting up could be riskier.

"We can only move forward together, cautiously. If the power manifests again, she’ll warn us. If we’re ready, defending together will be enough," Alv said quickly. "Arriving a few minutes late doesn’t matter."

Everyone nodded and started advancing, step by step. Little did Alv know, those few lost minutes would be enough to seal everyone’s fate.

Mistie stayed silent, more impressed by the whale’s methods. He clearly didn’t have the power to kill anyone there, but he managed to scare them all to death with his schemes.

Even though he didn’t have much firepower due to his low cultivation, his power was strange and unknown. Since no one knew its origin and assumed it came from a Primordial Dragon, they acted cautiously. The unknown was always the easiest way to create fear, something Alm and Bruno were good at.

Minutes passed…

Until Alm and Bruno sensed through the array that their allies had set everything up perfectly. The next moment, they all saw the huge golden rune marking the core of the seal.

The hero’s six companions sighed in relief, while the three Divine Inquisitors exhaled heavily. In that second, the whale was the only one to flash a subtle, sinister smile.

’It’s showtime. Start the countdown… in 10…’

Everyone in the array heard the command, and a synchronized mental countdown began between them.

At the same time, the demon stepped forward, pulling out a spatial ring. Inside, runes of an ancient formation began assembling rapidly. In a few seconds, he turned to the Dragons.

"I’m about to start the technique, everyone…"

’Ten!’
