Alm and Bruno shut their eyes and quickly rushed out of the building. Looking up at the sky, they saw hundreds of cultivators from various races hovering around the planet. They weren’t moving, just standing there in silence as if waiting for something. Alm and Bruno focused on the fluctuations emanating from those beings and felt an intense danger. However, it wasn’t a completely hopeless situation.

Mistie’s voice sounded in their minds again. ’The leaders of the four races are asking if they should show up and intimidate them.’

’No,’ the whale replied promptly. ’They can’t see what’s hidden in the forest. It seems they came for another reason. Just pretend to be surprised and welcome them.’

They remained alert with their eyes fixed on the sky. Soon, all the members of their group appeared beside them, serious expressions and readiness to fight evident on their faces.

They watched as Mistie rose into the sky, accompanied by a dozen High Elders. The cultivators were clearly waiting for her to receive them. Within seconds, Mistie led those visitors to the central building of the sect.

Alm and Bruno sighed. ’The danger is immense, but every great threat also brings a great opportunity. Let’s see where this leads,’ Alm murmured.

The whale gestured for the group to stay where they were but to prepare for anything. Using the chancellor’s emblem, the two teleported near the central building.

The moment they entered the building, Mistie appeared with a serious expression, waiting for them. "Come, they said something serious happened that needs to be dealt with in secrecy."

The two moved and entered a vast meeting room. Inside were all the visitors, and from the Yinblood sect, only Mistie and a dozen High Elders were present.

In the center of the visiting group stood a figure that stood out. It was a humanoid man, about three meters tall, with an incredibly robust physique. His beastly fluctuations were intense, and an aura of pure bloodline emanated from him, exerting pressure throughout the room.

"Who’s this?" the figure asked dryly, his eyes fixed on the whale.

Mistie responded firmly. "Denil, he is the chancellor of the sect."

"The chancellor, huh? So this is the famous ’God of the Forge,’ the one who bragged at the Convention and caused such a stir?" The man’s gaze deepened towards the whale, but the whale met his stare back without any interest.

"I heard you claimed to be the son of the Behemoth?" He continued in a dry voice, "You really don’t know what that means. The heavenly laws created three primordial beasts to rule the mortal world: the Behemoth, lord of the earth and natural life; the King Leviathan, who dominates the seas; and the Guardian Ziz, the beast that reigns in the skies. Of these three, only the Leviathan hasn’t betrayed all forms of life in the great holy war."

"And so?" the whale replied lazily.

"Are you stupid? Anyone who claims to be the child of a traitorous Beast is essentially declaring war against the heroes and everyone who gave their lives in that war." The man spat coldly.

"For your luck, the heroes aren’t here; otherwise, you would already be under investigation. But since you’re just a half-human, it’s clear that your words are nothing more than the nonsense of someone ignorant. You were lucky to find an ancient treasure of the Behemoth, and just because of that, you did something unbelievable. God of the Forge? Only those idiot dwarves could be fooled so easily."

The whale continued to stare at him, unwavering, which only irritated the man further.

"I am Heze, the direct son of the King Leviathan; the one who fought heroically in the war. I have pure bloodline in my veins. And I’ll warn you only once: if you dare to repeat that, I and the remaining companions of the heroes here will do whatever it takes to deal with you."

Alm and Bruno watched that man closely. Something about him screamed "Young Master," but his warning didn’t seem meant to suppress them. Alm and Bruno had left the events of the Convention purposely doubtful.

Within Heze’s fluctuations was a hidden respect for the Behemoth’s bloodline. Despite his clear arrogance, he was sincerely trying to warn them. He had certainly been taught to take pride in his bloodline and was misled into thinking the sealed beasts were traitors. It was too early to judge him; he’d never had the chance to see the truth.

"I understand," Bruno murmured. Despite his extreme presumption, that young man didn’t seem completely corrupted. There was a slight intention to help in his words.

"Let’s get to the point; the situation is urgent," interrupted an old-looking human, another companion of the heroes.

Heze and the others nodded. Mistie and the members of the Yinblood sect gathered, and the human explained seriously.

"I’ll be direct. About a week ago, all the companions of the heroes still in this universe received a divine message."

The eyes of the Yinblood sect members widened. Mentally, Mistie explained to the whale: ’A divine message... that only happens directly with the heroes. It’s the words of the Holy Goddess herself. If the companions received it, something colossal happened.’

The man continued calmly, "The words were simple and identical for all of us: One of the greatest allies of the heroes, the guardian of this universe... has been killed. The Chaos Yang Dragon was assassinated."

All the Fey froze. How could someone kill an immortal being, an entity above all cultivators? The culprit, however, was right there among them, with a well-faked expression of surprise.

Mistie, beside the whale, instinctively noticed something strange. After so long interacting with him, she caught a subtlety: he was pretending to be surprised. And with that certainty, cold sweat trickled down her forehead.

"What does this mean?" the human continued, his voice heavy. "I believe the defeated enemies from the holy war are returning. If this happened in the shadows, it means our universe has already been infiltrated by Heaven-Defiers. All forms of life in the universe could be in danger, and now that we don’t have heroes, we’re vulnerable. That’s why the enemies chose to act now."

"The orders were clear: everyone was to gather and investigate the situation. We managed, using a celestial Karma reading technique, to discover where the Chaos Yang Dragon was killed. It all happened in this galaxy just a few days ago. However, there’s no sign of the body, not even any suspects. Only a few young disciples from a sect were at the location, but after investigating each of them, we found absolutely nothing."

Mistie felt her heart racing and the weight of anxiety growing. Taking a deep breath, she finally asked, "And why did you come to my sect?"

"Because the answer to everything is here," the human replied with a chilling seriousness. Immediately, all the sect members widened their eyes.

"Maybe you don’t know, since it’s something kept secret. But what your sect guards on this planet is a power equivalent to that of the Chaos Yang Dragon itself. To keep an entity of that level under control, only a power of similar level could manage to keep it imprisoned."

The human continued explaining calmly while Alm and Bruno quickly absorbed the information. Sealing the Chaos Yin Dragon, even with the power of heroes, wouldn’t be a simple task. A primordial dragon was no joke; even sealed, it could accumulate power and eventually break the chains holding it.

From the man’s hints, Alm and Bruno pieced together the puzzle. For the seal to be perfect, the Chaos Yang Dragon must have lured its former companion into a trap. He himself participated in creating the seal and used his own power to ensure that the Chaos Yin Dragon would never break free.

Alm and Bruno already knew about a secret location within the sect, a place even Mistie didn’t allow them to access. They deduced that this was where the true body of the Chaos Yin Dragon was sealed.

This place was also where beasts with draconic bloodline had cultivated in the past. It possessed a unique draconic power in the universe — a sacred region, ideal for those with similar bloodlines to cultivate.

Now, Alm and Bruno understood the true purpose of that place: it was the core of the seal, and also where the Chaos Yang Dragon deposited its maximum power to reinforce the prison. But… there was more to this story.

The whale looked deeply at the human as his words echoed throughout the hall. "The Chaos Yang Dragon was killed, but he is an immortal entity. Even if his body and soul have been destroyed, if a fraction of his soul still exists somewhere, he can be reborn over time."

’Damn,’ Bruno cursed mentally.

"Besides his power, the Chaos Yang Dragon left a portion of his soul on this planet. We came to make contact with that part of his soul. We have a method to nurture it quickly so it can speak. This way, we can find out exactly who killed him and how it happened."

When the human finished his explanation, the High Elders of the Yinblood sect sighed in relief. Those people didn’t come because they suspected the whale; they knew he had been in the sect the whole time for the past few weeks; he couldn’t have been involved.

However, Mistie was pale, certain he had something to do with this. The whale, on the other hand, maintained a cold and impenetrable expression. Internally, though, things were quite different.
