All the High Elders were tense, filled with questions and some suspicions. How could that half-human be so hated by the laws to the point of facing a legendary celestial annihilation?
How could he fight against replicas of two primordial beasts?
And most of all, how did he manage to survive all of that alone, and still keep a sinister smile on his face?
No one was naive. Those elders had lived and studied history long enough to imagine the answer. However, no one dared to verbalize something so terrible. They only exchanged astonished looks at Mistie as they approached the whale.
Contrary to expectations, Mistie just scoffed. "I know what you’re thinking; I’ve thought the same a few times. But, have you ever heard of a Heaven-Defier with so many allies? Someone who clearly has so many people faithfully following them?"
Silence fell among the High Elders. Indeed, they had never heard of a Heaven-Defier with that profile. However, aside from that detail, everything about that figure pointed to this terrible possibility.
"Listen carefully, because I won’t repeat myself: I trust him. You’ve seen everything he’s done for our sect and what he continues to do. If he senses that you’re suspicious of him, even after all this, I’ll have to expel you." She spoke seriously, making everyone stiffen.
"Don’t worry, I’m keeping a close eye on him. Besides, I have someone close to him who keeps me informed. I am the leader, and the survival of the sect is my priority."
Mistie’s words of assurance were met with respectful nods. Although she felt relieved by the High Elders’ acceptance, internally, she felt a pain for saying that. It was obvious her words were superficial.
Ever since Quirio leaked information without permission, Mistie had spent a lot of time trying to make amends with him. She preferred to avoid new conflicts, not asking questions she knew could cause problems. Unknowingly, the sect was no longer her main priority.
For Mistie, the sect had always been the center of her life. However, something changed, without her even realizing when exactly. Now, she constantly reflected on her future and fought for it.
The sect was essential for the survival of her race in the vast universe. But what was the point of surviving if they all had to live in fear, always on the verge of being crushed, with no chance to fight back?
Without that half-human, the sect would certainly become irrelevant. The Feys would live on the edge, struggling for mere existence.
As for Mistie, her life had changed completely. After so much time, there had finally been a significant breakthrough in her relationship. Each day of her life had become something exciting and thrilling.
The survival of the sect, the future of her race, and her own happiness were now intrinsically tied to that round being.
Even so, Mistie was becoming more and more concerned. At first, that half-human was just peculiar; but, little by little, it was becoming hard to believe he was just "normal." The shadow of a species feared by all was beginning to form clearly around him.
When they finally got close to the whale, who was injured to a frightening extent, he cast a deep look at Mistie. In that brief instant, she felt as if every one of her thoughts was being read and judged.
Taking a deep breath, she clenched her fists and nodded to him softly. She decided to stop thinking and trust her feelings.

A few hours later, the whale returned to planet Gloom and was taken to the building where his group lived. The place was empty; everyone was focused on their tasks. Corin, Kisala, and Runula were in two different sects, cultivating and gathering new followers.
According to reports from Ruri, during a visit to Dragon Ascent Sect, Yue had directly challenged her to a battle. Ruri understood the hidden reason behind the challenge but didn’t feel angry due to the young girl’s immaturity.
She sent Runula to fight in her place. Despite the general disdain from the entire sect—after all, it was a pure Azure Dragon against a Wyvern hybrid—Runula won decisively without even needing to reveal her true form.
Runula had trained hard in armed combat, learning to use both of her bloodlines when necessary. With only her demonic power and combat skills, she dominated Yue, a young girl who had never had to fight for her life in extreme situations.
Pretending to be unsatisfied with his sister’s defeat, Yuan challenged Runula to another fight. He seemed to be struggling to hide something when he looked at her. Ruri quickly noticed something stirring in the young man’s heart, but before she could speak, Deryu, furious, jumped into the fight against him.
The duel was brutal. Deryu, a pure Wyvern, fought only with his physique and vast combat experience. Despite having a subtle draconic bloodline, his technique far surpassed Yuan’s. In the middle of the fight, Runula intervened, revealing her true form and preventing Deryu from causing serious injuries to the young Azure Dragon.
Everyone was surprised to see Deryu, once an imposing and vicious Wyvern, quickly subdued and becoming submissive. Ruri also gave him a cold stare from afar, and under both of their gazes, Deryu lowered his head and silently returned to the bestial world, indignant.
But it was clear that both Ruri and Runula were pleased with his reaction. Ruri especially, since for some reason, she found her pet’s bloodthirsty look quite cool, as it slightly reminded her of someone else.
In the end, it turned out that Deryu and Runula were nothing more than Ruri’s "pets." She revealed that being a beast tamer was just one of her hobbies.
The sect leader and all the High Elders readily accepted her position as rector. Just those two "pets" were far superior to the sect’s two heroic disciples. They hadn’t seen her power, but they knew she had the bloodline of a Primordial Dragon; with such powerful pets and possibly more in the future, her potential was unlimited.
Meanwhile, Corin and Kisala were at the Three Sovereign Gods Sect and didn’t face any major problems. Both had received two Divine Daos, and according to Ruri, they were enthusiastic and focused on cultivation. Their combat abilities had undergone a drastic transformation.
In the Yinblood sect, the rest of the group was busy training their new soldiers and helping the golems that constantly appeared in the forest.
Ruri, Calirer, and Rehvka were focused on helping Amary with the army of newborns from the Blood Seeker Tree and Life-Recovering Tree races. These three women shared a strong maternal instinct, just like Almin, who, if present, would surely be by their side helping.
Alm and Bruno headed to one of the empty rooms in the building. There, they began analyzing the celestial runes they had stolen. Now that all their allies had reached the Divine Origin Realm, things had to be handled differently.
From this realm onward, simply gathering Qi wasn’t enough. Each new realm required something beyond the usual cultivation, and a mistake at this point could be irreparable in the future, limiting the cultivator’s potential.
In the Divine Origin Realm, the cultivator needed to absorb the heavenly laws and celestial runes into their body. The more runes and the higher their level, the greater the ’heavenly tribulation’ would be when breaking through to the next realm.
For many, this was a psychological nightmare. The biggest fear of cultivators was the wrath of the heavenly laws. They couldn’t be greedy, or they would die easily. But Alm and Bruno couldn’t care less; they were going to make everyone absorb as many runes as there were stars in the sky.
’Soon, the sect will be ready to return to the sealed worlds and acquire endless resources… before, that would’ve been a great joy, but now, after so much suffering, getting basic resources has become almost irrelevant,’ murmured Bruno, somewhat disheartened.
Alm just scoffed; when one door closed, another always opened. And indeed, it had already opened. Almin, with his ability to create that Unmatched Pill, had created a path for them. If they could get the right resources, a clear future was ahead.
They both thought about the system, and soon several green screens appeared:
[Upgrade Points available: 270]
[Celestial Points available: 30]
[02 New Celestial Miracles Available!]
[01 Free Divine Level Celestial Knowledge, Available.]
It was a considerable number of points to be used, but what caught their attention the most were the new miracles. Finally, new ones had appeared, and this was something essential for them.
[Available Miracles: 05]
[Note: Each use of a miracle multiplies the points needed for that miracle by 3]
[Miracle of Natural Life] [90 Celestial Points]
[Miracle of Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Rebirth] [270 Celestial Points]
[Miracle of Space-Time] [270 Celestial Points]
[Miracle of Creation] [10 Celestial Points]
[Heaven’s Will Avatar, union of miracles] [Sum of Points from up to 03 miracles]
Alm and Bruno’s eyes widened as they read the new miracles. ’Creation... and, holy crap, the union of miracles!’ thought Bruno, completely stunned.
Alm was calmer. They were just names on a green screen, with no information about the limits of the miracles’ abilities.
The system was notoriously unfair, forcing them to use the miracles to figure out their true potential, while losing points in the process. After using them, the miracle’s level improved, but they had to guess what improvements would happen, having to take risks and buy them blindly.
’We’ve used two of the miracles three times, and now the points needed to use them again are insane,’ Alm murmured coldly. ’If the manipulative Heaven’s Will gave us these two miracles, it’s because there’ll be an opportunity to use them. No point in worrying about it now.’
With that in mind, they focused first on the available free bonus.
[Celestial Knowledge available: 04]
[Upgrade Points to use: 270]
[Divine Level] [Laws of Earth – All living things originated in you] [50 Upgrade Points]
[Divine Level] [Heavenly Laws – The faith of life in a god] [120 Upgrade Points]
[Immortal Level] [Yin and Yang Laws – From life to death, the mortal cycle] [170 Upgrade Points]
[Immortal Level] [Laws of Chaos – The great mist from where the beginning happened] [200 Upgrade Points]
Bruno quickly spoke: ’They’re the same as before, but now cheaper. We’ve got one free divine level, and it’s clear which one’s the best choice. Still, the Laws of Earth are pretty tempting too. This could help us recreate the anti-life law or bring us closer to it.’
Alm agreed, but they needed to assess if it was worth using the upgrade points in other areas.
[Upgrade Points available: 270]
[First-level options: 03]
[Second-level options: 03]
[Third-level options: 04]
[Fourth-level options: 01]
[Fifth-level options: 04]
Alm and Bruno had already set their priorities and quickly opened the fifth level to confirm.
[Level 5] [Dao of the God of Forging] [30 Upgrade Points]
[Level 5] [Supreme Physical Cultivation Technique: FiendGod’s Hegemony] [60 Upgrade Points]
[Level 5] [Dao of the Alchemist God] [60 Upgrade Points]
The most uptodate nove𝙡s are published on frёewebnoѵel.ƈo๓.
[Level 5] [Transcendent Mental Cultivation Technique: Nine God-Slaying Lotus] [60 Upgrade Points]
’Almin’s still studying the new level he received. Our physical cultivation still needs its last step, and Ruri needs to focus on other areas. Given the point cost, our Dao of Forging God seems to have hit its limit; I need to update Fides, and this could help,’ Bruno reflected.
The only fourth-level option was the inventory technique. They decided to ignore it since they would soon meet the technique’s creator. Spending points on that now would be foolish.
[Level 3] [Dao of the God of Formation] [40 Upgrade Points]
[Level 3] [Dao of the Gaia God] [40 Upgrade Points]
[Level 3] [Dao of the God of Immortal Armament] [40 Upgrade Points]
[Level 3] [Celestial Dual Cultivation Technique: Exchange of Essences of the Harem God] [05 Upgrade Points]
’Now that we can find the sealed beasts with the help of the dwarves, Gaia’s Dao might be more useful, just like it was with the Behemoth,’ Alm thought seriously. ’The Immortal Armament Dao will only matter when our forging skills improve. Right now, it’s the least useful.’
[Level 2] [Beast Blood Refinement Technique: Universal Hybrid] [25 Upgrade Points]
[Level 2] [Dao of the Human God] [40 Upgrade Points]
[Level 2] [Vital Poison Technique] [40 Upgrade Points]
Alm and Bruno weren’t interested in the first-level techniques since they were the same as before. For the first time, the system didn’t add new options at this level, which seemed like a ’subtle’ warning to focus on what they already had.
’We completed two golden missions in a short time... it was hard work, but the rewards were worth it. This time, we’ll get everything we want,’ said Bruno, with a light tone. There wasn’t much to think about this time.
