"Raoni, you’re really shameless. How dare you hit our disciples?" one of the Elders shouted, his voice filled with fury. The robes they wore were identical to those of the three alchemists they had defeated earlier.

These were pure alchemist Elders. Even though they held important positions in the sect, unlike other sects, they didn’t have high cultivation levels. They received these positions due to their alchemical skills and long contributions to the sect.

Alchemists, in general, don’t spend time cultivating; they prefer to ascend through the realms using pills and other external resources. They weren’t too different from dwarves who focused only on their crafts. While they had latent potential for combat, thanks to the strength of their souls and the power of their flames, almost none of them trained in battle skills.

At the end of the day, these hundred Elders were only in the Heavenly Saint Realm, two whole realms above Raoni’s cultivation in the Spirit Fusion Realm. However, their combat power was pathetic. They only relied on their high cultivation, thinking they could easily intimidate the disciples with their powerful flames.

As soon as the Elder’s voice rang out, Celilia and all the neutral disciples nearby turned pale. But in the next instant...

*Pow!*

One of the disciples threatened to scream, but was interrupted when Raoni shot forward like a blur and punched him in the face. Half of his face caved in, and he was sent flying. After landing on the ground in agony, he was already passing out and didn’t make another sound.

Everyone’s eyes widened, including Bruno’s. He had held back, but the alchemist was so weak in combat that he nearly killed the guy accidentally.

"Get the hell out, all of you. I won’t say it again."

Raoni’s cold voice echoed, and his gaze instilled a primal fear in the disciples, leaving them petrified, unable to breathe or move a muscle.

Until one of the Elders huffed and, in a dry voice, roared: "Brat, you seem like a complete bumpkin, a frog…"

"Fuck off."

*BANG!*

The sound of breaking bones and blood gushing left everyone in shock. No one could believe what they were seeing: Raoni had moved like a missile, and the Elder was launched back like a kite with its strings cut.

"Bastard! Attack!" yelled another Elder, furious.

At that moment, the other ninety-nine Elders charged in, surrounding Raoni. The power of their flames ignited like erupting volcanoes.

The temperature became unbearable. The enemy disciples, who had been stunned before, fled. Hundreds of neutral disciples, including Celilia and the elves, were terrified but clenched their fists, forcing themselves to stay.

"Y-You..." Celilia spoke with a trembling voice, trying to sound firm. "We don’t belong to any faction. You’ll have to face all of us! We’ll respond appropriately when it comes time to vote. Your conservative faction will regret this!"

Alm and Bruno watched the scene closely. They noticed the elves were flushed red from the heat, everyone feeling suffocated and their bodies burning. No one there had the capacity to resist, but even while suffering, their eyes showed a willingness to help.

An Elder spat. "He’s not a neutral disciple. He’s part of the radicals; there’s no reason for you to interfere."

"Fuck you! He’s a newly arrived disciple, and he owes us one. Aren’t you ashamed, you old bastard?!" Celilia roared in fury.

"How dare you disrespect us? Do you know the consequences of this?!"

An Elder exclaimed. Those Elders were there to monitor and ensure that all disciples were following the rules. If these neutrals acted without valid justification, they were picking a fight with those responsible for watching over them.

Planting evidence and incriminating them was simple for them. No one dared to be so shameless against the Elders; Raoni could because there were Elders from the radical faction who would protect him and deter others from harming him directly. But the neutrals were alone and easy targets.

But contrary to expectations, only a third of those neutrals backed down. Celilia looked coldly at those who fled but said nothing; the choice was theirs. She didn’t know exactly why, but she felt this choice would forever change their lives. This was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and her instincts screamed for her to act.

"We’re not afraid..."

Bruno calmly echoed her words, "Back down."

Celilia met his gaze and simply nodded, feeling that she couldn’t contradict him. There was an indescribable confidence emanating from him, as if those Elders were just ants. Not understanding why, she took a deep breath and ordered the neutrals to step back.

After that, Raoni turned to the Elders with a mocking smile. "Come on already. How long are you gonna keep putting on this show?"

"Hahaha, let’s see how long you can keep up that pose while being burned alive!"

One of them roared, and they all attacked at the same time. It wasn’t a flame technique; surrounding a single target this way was foolish, as they would end up hitting each other. Instead, they used fire runes like chains, easy to control to bind him.

But...

Raoni’s eyes glimmered slightly, as if something was pulsing inside him. Inside the stomach of that body, two small Yin and Yang tattoos appeared on a pill; that was their true form.

Using basic laws against them? What a joke.

The moment the runes surrounded him, Bruno waved his hand. Instantly, the runes froze.

All the Elders felt their connection to the runes severed and were left confused and incredulous. A sinister smile spread across Raoni’s face.

"Now, it’s your turn to have some fun."

With a flick of his hand, the runes shot out like arrows toward the Elders.

"AAAAH!"

Screams echoed ominously. All ninety-nine Elders were struck by their own runes, their clothes catching fire. The fire runes clung to their skin like hot iron, engulfing their bodies.

They felt their existence being burned away in indescribable pain. Their screams were so terrifying that even the Elder who had been punched earlier got up, scared. Seeing that scene, he thanked the Gods for not being among them.

But it lasted only a few seconds. Then, Bruno waved his hand again, and the runes dissolved into dust. The Elders fell to the ground, their bodies blackened and almost completely charred. If Bruno continued, they would die without a chance of salvation.

Until a distant voice sounded. "Sir..."

Raoni turned to see a young man approaching. It was Alci.

"I was just having a little fun while waiting for you," Raoni said with a smile.

He turned to Celilia and sent a mental message. ’Gather all the trustworthy neutrals and prepare. Soon, I’ll be back to test you. I’ll give you a single chance. And let me be clear: I’m not nice like Almin.’

Still dazed, Celilia nodded. Raoni then walked over to Alci, under the gaze of all the disciples, as if nothing had happened.

Alm and Bruno had been expecting Alci’s contact. Zemuo wouldn’t abandon them completely, for obvious reasons. He would definitely provide some minimal help, sending a known ally.

"Let’s go... there’s a place called Sacred Pavilion here, right?" Raoni asked, already beside Alci.

Alci nodded quickly. "Yeah, the superiors ordered me to show you everything and guide you."
