The whale moved calmly toward his allies, under the watchful gaze of everyone. Along the way, the sects that had chosen to oppose him and lost their leaders swallowed hard and quickly fled with their disciples.

First, the whale looked at the young people he had saved on the stairs who chose to leave their sects and were expelled for it.

"You no longer have a place to go back to," the whale said softly, and everyone’s eyes trembled. "I come from the Yinblood sect. It’s not a huge sect, but if you want to follow me, you’ll have a chance going there."

Everyone clenched their fists and nodded in agreement. They were a few thousand young people from all races, and they all seemed to have a strong enough will and loyalty. Given the circumstances in the sect, if they stood firm, they would be a good addition in the short term.

When the whale gave them a slight nod, an irritated voice rang out: "You’re a cheater! This convention was for young disciples; how can an old man who used to be the God of the Forge stoop so low as to intimidate the younger ones?"

The whale turned to Yue, seeing her flapping her tiny wings with the expression of a sulky child. The leader of the Blue Dragons was her father, and she had a highly talented twin brother. Unlike Runula, who didn’t have enough skill for metamorphosis, Yue deliberately chose this peculiar look.

She had pointed ears and a slim figure like an elf, plus short, delicate wings of a beast. Her tight and revealing clothes clearly reflected her free-spirited personality, doing whatever she wanted without caring about common rules.

Her father spoke seriously: "Yue, be respectful. He didn’t try to compete with anyone, and age doesn’t matter at this convention, only cultivation; he was within his rights."

"But that’s unfair! I even felt inferior for a second!" She retorted dramatically. "He should be ashamed; the Earth Dragon Heavy Sword should be mine!"

Bruno let out a low laugh. "Handing over what’s already mine? Hah! Nice try." After saying that, the whale simply turned around, completely ignoring the spectacle.

Seeing this reaction, the Azure Dragon leader quickly jumped in. "Sir, forgive my daughter. But please, hear us out."

Alm was ready to curse, but Bruno stopped him, giving a slight nod for him to speak.

"My name is Yulong, I’m the leader of the Dragon Ascent Sect. These are my children. They’re immature, but I’m sure they have the potential to grow endlessly," Yulong said quickly. "I’ve done my best to teach them honor and to be trustworthy people. My daughter is a bit... but she will mature…"

"I’m already married; you can stop with that," the whale cut in, and the man’s expression sank. He tried to say something, but the whale continued, reading his thoughts: "I approve of the honor of both. But I’m not belittling your race; compared to my allies, they’re just average. That doesn’t mean we can’t be friends in the future."

Yulong heard that, initially disbelieving. He sighed and said: "I saw you used the divine technique of the Primordial Dragon to preserve the entire bloodline within that demon. Your scales are very important to the draconian race; I know they are yours by right, but I would like to negotiate; I can pay…"

"I’m not interested. This is a gift for my wife," the whale cut in lightly.

The dragon’s eyes widened. "But does she have draconic bloodline? Using that on another bloodline, even if she’s human, is a complete waste."

"She was born a pure human," the whale replied calmly. "But she already has other scales of the same level."

Upon hearing this, the three were stunned. To be of the same level as the Chaos Yang Dragon, there’s only one possibility: to be the other Primordial Dragon. He came from the Yinblood sect, and everyone knows what’s hidden there, so his words seemed correct and frightening.

It was clear that the Chaos Yang Dragon himself helped that demon assimilate his scales. The other sealed Primordial Dragon was impossible to replicate, so that means his wife was accepted by the scales. Which was totally unbelievable; no one should be enough to be accepted.

Yulong spoke quickly: "But she’s a woman; those scales came from a pure Yang Dragon; despite having similar bloodline, that will cause an internal conflict."

"It won’t be a problem; I can easily remove the Yang. She’ll just keep the draconic bloodline," the whale replied calmly. "Thank you for standing by my side. I hope in the future to maintain a good relationship with your sect. But this is very important to her; I won’t negotiate."

After finishing, the whale turned to the Berserker God, with Rocky and the other disciples by his side.

"Those two bastards finally died. There have always been disappearances of my young disciples; I was almost ready to fight them to the death," the Berserker God said lightly, staring at the whale. "Without those two causing so much trouble, the enemies will come to attack, steal, and destroy everything. Don’t you want to take over the sect and have it all?"

Everyone heard that and were startled at first, but then remembered that the whale and that god were, in theory, on the same level.

The whale replied without thinking: "No, I already have too many problems to deal with. The complete Daos of those two are certainly recorded in the sect; if you protect them, the sect will stabilize without issues; you, as the only remaining one, should take their place."

"Then everything will be taken by others. I’m a free man; I live only to eat, sleep, and fight," the god replied promptly.

The whale scoffed, saying: "You’ve been sleeping and eating for thousands of years; how long has it been since you had a good fight?"

The god sighed painfully: "Becoming this strong is a heavy karma to deal with... I’ve tried to fight those blue snakes several times, but they refuse and just feed me without fighting…"

Yulong scoffed, and everyone understood his frustration. Fighting that maniac was pointless madness. They must have been challenged by him countless times in history; so, the only way to satisfy him and stock up on powerful rations was to avoid problems.

"I guarantee that if you do what I say, you’ll be able to fight with all your strength until you almost die. And it won’t just be once," the whale said calmly. "But for that, you’re going to have to work a little. Take over your sect…"

"That’s impossible; I can’t handle that. I’ve already caused too many problems before, so I gave up," he shot back, and no one doubted his words.

Suddenly, the Azure Dragon Leader remembered something upon hearing that. "He can be just the defender and leader in name. In my sect, there’s a rarely used position called rector. He can command and run everything in place of the leader. In the Three Sovereign Gods Sect, there’s something similar; just put someone of yours in."

The whale turned to the Berserker God; he just shook his head, clearly not caring to even know the rules of his sect.

"The rules are the same in the larger sects, with just a few adaptations," the Azure Dragon quickly said. "Your wife... if she was accepted by the primordial scale, she now has draconic blood perfectly fused to her. According to sect rules, she’s considered part of our race and can enter the sect…"

The whale interrupted. "That’s not going to happen; it was hard enough for me to negotiate to stay away for three months and come to the convention." The leader’s expression sank, but seeing this, Bruno calmly said, "But if you accept her as rector, she can stay with me, still being a disciple of the Yinblood sect, and be part of yours as well."

He took a deep breath and reflected. There was nothing in the rules that prohibited the rector from having two sects because it would normally be impossible to happen.

Having that woman with the pure bloodline of two primordial dragons would be exceptional for the sect; they had an inheritance from the Chaos Yin Dragon, which no dragon could unlock. Plus, building a solid relationship with that scary figure would only bring gains.

Yulong spoke seriously, looking at the whale: "A rector, despite having power similar to that of a leader, can have their decisions overridden by me and the high elders. In the end, it will be a position equal to that of a high elder, but with superior perks."

"Alright, that’s fair. She’ll visit your sect soon," the whale replied with a nod, and the dragon breathed a sigh of relief.

The whale turned to the Berserker God. "Let’s do something similar: I’ll send someone close to me to handle everything. You just have to follow their commands and pretend to be the leader and protector. How about that?"

"If I can fight, do whatever you want. I trust my eyes; you’ll take care of my young ones," that man said, nodding.

Alm and Bruno were excited; this unexpected situation would bring immense gains. Ruri was a beast tamer, and her pets bore her mark. No matter the place, her pets were considered part of her.

Ruri would just have to go to that sect once and take the position. After that, she wouldn’t need to go directly; she could just send Runula, and all the draconic beasts would benefit infinitely. Then, recruiting a new terrifying army would be easy.

In the Three Sovereign Gods Sect, the Dao of the Warlock God seemed like something excellent for Corin to study. The same went for Kisala, who could learn the Dao of the Sniper God.

They could take advantage of all the good things in these two sects, and if any problems arose, they could simply leave with nothing to lose. After all, they weren’t really her disciples.

Finally, the whale approached the Starry Sky Tree, and Sesel, Leafar, and Ervly were there. They all awaited him silently and excitedly.

"A lot has happened. We’ll have time to talk calmly," the whale said to the three, then turned to the Starry Sky Tree, which was in human form.

"They told me they’ve known you for a long time and that you saved them," that figure said softly. "Our sect also wishes to build ties with you and your sect. Take the time you need with them, then come visit us. In the past, the God of the Forge found many exceptional materials to forge in our lands. That was a long time ago, and due to our rules, everything remained untouched. Now there must be many things to your liking there."

The whale nodded in agreement, pretending not to be excited. Soon, the Starry Sky Tree bowed, gently returning toward its spatial channel. The Berserker God and the Azure Dragon leader also moved, though Yue was irritated about having to leave.

"Calm down; you have to build a friendship little by little; it can’t be forced."

Yuan murmured this very softly to Yue, but he was also frustrated about leaving. Alm and Bruno easily heard everything, thanks to the soul perception they possessed.

"Let’s go back to the Yinblood sect. Ruri and the others must want to chat a bit, and I need to organize things," the whale said to Almin and everyone nearby.

The dwarves listened and nodded softly. Nebai, who didn’t leave Zaimo’s side, nodded and took out a pulsating formation with Prana law from his spatial ring. With that, they could easily return to the sect. Soon, everyone gathered and was enveloped, disappearing afterward.
