The fight came to an end, and everyone witnessed the whale moving faster than the very formation protecting the place, not letting a single drop of blood go to waste. In the next moment, the whale waved, and a soul flowed out from his inventory.
Everyone saw the formation capture that soul, which vanished completely, probably being refined. It was a fair fate, balancing out all the lives he had destroyed and the souls his sect had refined. Even though he didn’t commit the acts directly, he accepted the privileges his sect provided at the cost of those atrocities.
Meanwhile, outside the arena, the atmosphere was filled with an intense demonic aura. The Shadow God radiated such overwhelming fury that every cultivator felt a deep fear.
However, he couldn’t do anything at the moment. The Warlock God and Sniper God were already in a state of extreme rage, with all their sect members being massacred; now, with the Shadow God facing the same fate, this convention wouldn’t end peacefully.
The Heavenly Spirit God was the only one still watching his two heroic disciples in the arena. But, after what he had witnessed... he knew his disciples wouldn’t survive for long.
"That half-human definitely... yeah... that power isn’t normal..." murmured the Heavenly Spirit God with a dry voice.
The Shadow God took a deep breath and then announced loudly: "My sect has witnessed many abnormal events involving this half-human. Everyone here must have received the information; an ascending planet called Pristine simply disappeared... and with it, the life of a young hero was lost."
The cultivators heard this and forgot to breathe. Everyone knew what was hidden on that planet, but talking about it directly was a taboo. The Shadow God continued slowly:
"This half-human declared himself as the son of the primordial beast. And all the beasts here must have felt the density of his bloodline. There’s no doubt, he can only have come from that ascending planet. And he’s probably involved in the hero’s incident. He is..."
"Cut the crap." A loud and disrespectful voice interrupted him, echoing from the void.
Everyone was stunned, looking for the voice’s origin, but couldn’t locate it. Someone saw the Azure Dragon turn in a direction, revealing a wild-looking humanoid figure emerging from a spatial channel.

When everyone focused on him, they realized he was just a human, extremely tall and muscular, with long, unkempt hair and beard; his clothes were torn and made of leather. His cultivation was at the peak of the divine realms, but his fluctuations were so pathetic that everyone thought it was a joke.
"Berserker God; do you have something to say?" The Shadow God’s voice was cold, but everyone could sense a certain apprehension in it.
Everyone’s eyes widened when they realized the identity of that human. He was a god, just like the others, but his Dao was peculiar, and no one could feel the common power a high-level cultivator should have. Even so, not even the Shadow God dared to be arrogant.
"You’re a pathetic demon, frustrated because you lost, and now you’re accusing someone of something very serious. Do you think you’re the law of the world now?" The deep voice, like a wild roar, resonated all around.
The Sniper God and Warlock God narrowed their eyes. The Warlock roared: "You foolish Berserker, can’t you see the obvious? He’s the evil that must be eliminated, a Heaven-Defier!"
"Screw you, you idiot." The response was harsh. "I might not be a sage or someone who thinks too much. But I know perfectly well what a Heaven-Defier is. Everyone here saw it, that half-human is powerful, but his power makes sense. His allies are strong, and he just used his bloodline and weapon..."
The Berserker God turned toward where the distant dwarves stood. Feeling his gaze, Dwarf King Nival nodded and stepped forward. Then, he spoke loudly and clearly to everyone there:
"The half-human everyone’s referring to doesn’t have a senseless power. We, dwarves, can guarantee and swear on our lives; he is the reincarnation of the God of the Forge."
It took a moment for everyone to process those words. A God managed to reincarnate? Does that mean he regained his memories?
"You heard that, you bastards! A Heaven-Defier is someone with abnormal power, living alone, destroying and killing everything in exchange for power." The Berserker God roared, and everyone understood his intention.
"No one here is a fool. You all heard his words before killing that demon; his nature is to unite and build, the opposite of a Heaven-Defier. He also has many allies who trust him completely, which proves his character. The two young Azure Dragons, and even my disciples, accepted him quickly. He has a unique charm and leadership, and all his power comes from his bloodline and Divine Dao. You’re twisting the facts blatantly!"
Every cultivator’s breath was held, and the atmosphere grew tense. Suddenly, everyone felt an intense fluctuation and turned toward the arena.
The two heroic disciples of the Heavenly Spirit God Sect were surrounded. The whale fought alongside the dwarves and the two young Azure Dragons, but he was covered in earth runes, acting only as a defensive support.
The real center of attention was a dwarf in full armor. Everyone could feel the pulse of an Empyrean rune, even through the armor.
Behind him, a distortion of celestial laws hovered. Everyone knew that was a manifestation being used. The intense fluctuations were coming exactly from that manifestation.
That dwarf’s manifestation wasn’t ordinary. A strange rune glowed like a star on his armor’s chest, and the same rune appeared on all the hundred thousand dwarves around.
The power emanating from that dwarf was so intense that everyone was scared. That couldn’t belong to someone at his cultivation realm.
"That... is he merging the power of all the dwarves with his manifestation? That’s impossible!" An experienced onlooker grasped the situation and exclaimed, stunned.
This wasn’t a new idea. Throughout history, many had tried to achieve such a feat. Merging the power of countless cultivators into a single being was the dream of every sect. However, every Dao or method created for this purpose had always proven to be flawed and unviable.
But... the dwarf roared, and the space-time around him shattered instantly. Accomplishing something of this level in the divine world would be a simple task only for those at the peak of cultivation; but someone in the first divine realm? That was absolutely impossible unless he really...
The two heroic disciples were being held back by the whale, along with the two Azure Dragons. They couldn’t escape or dodge, fighting in a restricted area in the arena. Then a robotic voice echoed:
"DIE!"
Zaimo roared, and something resembling a cannon opened up in the chest of his armor. All the dwarves around him roared in unison. The cultivators could feel an obvious connection between them.
**BOOM!!!**
A massive, destructive power crashed down on the two heroic disciples. The entire arena was covered in debris, and the space fractured completely.
It took several seconds for the vision inside the arena to clear. There was no sign of the two heroic disciples.
A bit further away, the two Azure Dragons were spotted, unharmed and perfectly healthy, without a scratch. In front of them was the whale, severely injured, as if he had been crushed by a giant beast. It was evident that he had protected the two dragons with his body.
However, just like before, a celestial blue energy enveloped him, rapidly healing his body. His resilience was terrifying; he survived most of the energy from that attack due to his defenses and even regenerated completely as if nothing had happened.
Everyone watching was stunned; there were no remaining members of the 85% of the disciples. The group led by the whale had completely annihilated all their opponents, including the heroic disciples of the seven major sects of the universe.
"Have you opened your eyes now, you idiots!" The Berserker God’s wild voice echoed. "He is, indeed, very powerful, but it’s perfectly understandable. His bloodline has extreme defensive power, and he’s also favored as a revered deity. Combined with the power of his weapons, forged with his own Divine Dao, he’s nothing abnormal. His allies are equally terrifying, which is why he’s unstoppable."
After he finished, all the cultivators nodded in understanding. It all made sense in their minds. He wasn’t a Heaven-Defier but rather a reincarnated deity who had restarted his cultivation... and clearly, that was a frightening cheat.
With his previous experiences, he had accumulated many resources and even gained a Primordial bloodline that harmonized with his power. It was unfair to the younger disciples, as he wasn’t on the same level. He would grow like a dragon ascending to the heavens, and even now, he was already invincible among those at the same level.
"Shut up with your nonsense," a dry voice suddenly sounded, and all the light in the world seemed to fade.
The Shadow God, the Warlock God, the Sniper God, and the Heavenly Spirit God moved. Quickly joining them were the leaders of the Golden Crow Sect, White Tiger Sect, Vermilion Bird Sect, and Black Tortoise Sect; all those with sacred beast bloodlines, considered just a notch below the Azure Dragons.
The severe and furious voice of the leader of the Dragon Ascent Sect echoed, "What’s the meaning of this?!"
"It means exactly what it seems," the Shadow God replied dryly. "The convention will end soon. When that happens, we will capture that half-human and thoroughly investigate everything about him. The heroes aren’t here, so we will take on the role of protecting life in the universe. If he truly isn’t a Heaven-Defier, all will be well."
Everyone heard his heroic words, but no one was foolish... no matter what, that half-human would be branded as a Heaven-Defier. Everything he had would be taken by force. There were four gods, along with nearly all the sects and the most powerful bloodline beasts in the universe. They could do whatever they wanted without the heroes present.
Everyone sighed heavily. Nothing could save that half-human.
