A few hours after Rocky’s departure, the trio returned to the dwarves’ main planet. Alm and Bruno knew exactly where to find the densest Netherium and easily mined it.

When they got back, they found the city completely deserted. Not just the city, but the royal castle was empty too. All the dwarves were busy, taking turns attending Zaimo’s lessons and then diligently practicing in their own forges. Zaimo was working hard, and all the dwarves were focused on this great opportunity.

King Nival came to meet the whale, though it was clear he was reluctant to leave the forge. The whale nodded with satisfaction and said, "Just take me to where the records I left in the past are. I want to read them to see if my memories become clearer. After that, you can go back."

Excited, Nival quickly led him to a location deep within the castle. Without hesitation, he removed a Mithril ring and handed it to the whale. "Sir, this is the king’s access ring. With it, you can enter anywhere in the castle. If you need anything, just call a dwarf and ask where it is; I know you prefer to move around alone."

The whale nodded in agreement, and Nival rushed back to the forge. Thea was worried about the intensity of the dwarves, but the whale gave her a mission.

"Be a good mentor and go help him. Not in the forge, but with Nebai. They seem to like each other; if the two of them want it, this should go forward. They’re both young and can’t waste time on nonsense."

Thea was stunned, not sure how she could help. The whale snorted, recognizing that Thea didn’t like interacting with people and had limited social skills. Calmly, he explained:

"You don’t need to do much. Stay by Nebai’s side, helping a bit with her studies. Since you’re another woman, she’ll eventually open up to you more. When that happens, be sincere. Tell her how talented Zaimo is. You can use me as a reference, too; tell her he’s someone very important to me. This is an important mission I’m giving you; I have many things to do, and I’m short on time."

"Yes, sir!" Thea replied, her robotic body’s joints stiff; this was an extremely difficult mission for her.

The whale snorted again, reflecting that Rehvka probably faced many challenges managing a war in that universe. Due to the danger, Thea grew up isolated from people, becoming antisocial.

Bruno made a mental note to be more considerate of Thea. Then he turned to the thousands of Jade Slips in that secret room.

Hours passed as they examined the material. There were many useless things, as if the Forge God had written an epic autobiographical novel, narrating his adventures, loves, and challenges until he completed his Dao. Although not very useful, they read it carefully.

Halfway through the writings, he mentioned how he used the Alvs’ techniques, which united and mastered any law, to create the runic seals. It was then that Alm and Bruno realized something important: the runic seals they had received from the system in levels one and two were basic seals that all disciples learned.

The Forge God only taught these seals; the rest his disciples had to develop on their own. Therefore, it was possible they would never receive other seals upon leveling up. They could only find weapons with different seals and acquire them through the system.

Then, something caught their attention. The inheritance the Forge God left for the royal family included four of his personal weapons. One of them was the Hammer, which was part of the mission. This hammer had been made with the enchantment seal, binding it to the Prana law of that universe. And the others...

The whale left the room and ran to the first person he sensed nearby, asking where the castle’s treasure was kept. The person promptly indicated the location because he was the Forge God and could do whatever he wanted. However, Bruno would never accept stealing from the dwarves, even if Alm wanted to.

With the ring given by the king, they passed through all the security formations. They saw many weapons, crystals, and precious treasures until they found the four inherited weapons. The whale touched them, feeling their runic seals.

[01 Runic Seal Unlocked!]

[Feather Weight]

[Temporarily nullifies the weight of the item it’s applied to, allowing large and heavy weapons to be wielded as if they were made of paper. This doesn’t reduce the actual weight, only affects the user.]

[01 Runic Seal Unlocked!]

[Heavy Weight]

[Temporarily increases the item’s weight many times over, significantly boosting the impact damage. This increases the real weight, and handling the item depends on the user’s ability.]

[01 Runic Seal Unlocked!]

[Diffuser]

[Passive seal that, when wounding the enemy, disperses a portion of their Qi, considerably reducing their total amount.]

Alm and Bruno were thrilled to unlock three seals at once, and all of them seemed very useful. Now that they could apply more than one runic seal, many new possibilities opened up for them.

After Bruno had an intense mental struggle to stop Alm from taking anything from the treasure, they returned to the room with the Jade Slips, resuming the reading of the knowledge left behind.

After a day, they finally came across something truly useful. The Heavenly Refinement was developed in the later stages of the Forge God’s journey to complete his Dao. There, he described all his thoughts and methods for developing this technique.

Alm and Bruno’s eyes lit up as they absorbed this knowledge. They used the Heavenly Refinement as a foundation to create the Chaotic Refinement; this would help them improve their technique.

After nearly a week, the whale finally finished reading everything and left the room.

They discovered that there was a special forge in the castle, one that no one else used—the very forge of the God himself, which had existed since the time he was still alive. Without wasting any time, they quickly moved there.

They brought out Vorion because it was finally time to upgrade him. The high-level demonic metal and the Netherium were prepared. Fortunately, they didn’t have to start from scratch. Thanks to the Chaotic Refinement, they could simply fuse the base of the old weapon with the new metals.

The Chaotic Refinement had leveled up; it was almost like a Dao of their own being enhanced. Now, they learned how to refine the weapon without destroying the power added to it. What did this change? For almost all runic seals, not much—they would still have to destroy and reapply the seals when refining the weapon.

But the enchantment runic seal was special. It altered and fused laws into the metal as if they had been part of it from the beginning. Their techniques had evolved, and when using the refinement, even if the enchantment seal was destroyed, it could still retain almost 90% of its extra power. It was literally a cheat, allowing them to have three runic seals.

Vorion’s immortal core was removed. Then, they used an immense amount of the Netherium they had mined, fusing it into a single piece. Next came the demonic metal. Finally, they fused everything into the original body of the saber.

They placed the immortal core back into the weapon, and then...

*BOOM!*

A heavenly tribulation descended furiously, striking the weapon. Alm and Bruno were amazed; they had created something so fearsome that even the celestial laws were alerted and tried to take it down.

Alm and Bruno sealed their cultivation. If they tried to interfere, it would easily turn into annihilation. "Vorion, it’s up to you now."

’I will prevail, sir!’

The spirit’s voice sounded full of determination. Vorion was becoming smarter, along with Fides. They lived alongside Liumi, who had taken on their upbringing like an older sister.

It was just a tribulation, which for other cultivators would be an extreme challenge, but for Vorion, who cultivated the Dao of the Immortal Armament, it was just a slightly intense exercise.

He overcame the tribulation without much trouble, and then, the new sinister saber, something impossible to exist, emerged into the world, ready to show its glory.

Three months later, a place at the very beginning of the universe trembled. Runes of a colossal formation stirred, space distorted, and a massive challenge arena began to slowly emerge at its center.

As the arena appeared, a dense and supreme Qi radiated throughout the universe, sensed by all those with divine cultivation. Quickly, that place was bathed in golden light.

All the divine sects of the universe were set ablaze with excitement, and people eagerly commented:
