Alm and Bruno moved quickly, prepared for the worst, and right behind them, Kaiyka and Coltia were equally ready for battle. The entrance to the Red Void Forest was open to everyone, but the restriction was still in place, and those outside didn’t dare step inside.
With the passage open, all the young people who came to the Red Void Forest could escape. Everyone from the four races, as well as those outside, heard the words of the four kings.
The foreigners who had been recruited didn’t think twice and fled. Along with them, all the young Kun Peng also escaped. The young Zaoris and Celestial Jaguars, despite being very weak and unable to help, held on to the hope of having some chance to be useful.
The whale ran and looked up at the sky, observing the suicidal battle unfolding. His gaze met that of the four kings. Alm and Bruno were outside when everything happened and learned from the Immortal Crane Prince that the king had called them to fight.
It was surprising to know that those four bastards realized how stupid they had been. But unlike them, who had nothing to stop them in the past, it seemed that somehow, they were the catalysts that woke those four up.
Looking at the sky, they saw the golden spatial channel nearly stable. In a minute, it would all end with the hero’s arrival.
The two grunted; this was the third time they were in a similar situation. The first was during the final battle on the Pristine planet, then against the Calamity. Surely, the heroes would notice this wasn’t a coincidence and take measures to ensure they wouldn’t be stopped in the future.
The whale glanced at his distant group and quickly spoke through the array. "There’s only one way out. Ruri, be quick; you need to fully master the formation. Coltia will help in the final moment. I’ll deal with the queen’s power trying to stop it."
"YES!" She roared with her eyes shining. Everyone in the group heard through the array and seemed greatly relieved.
"You four idiots," the whale said dryly to the four kings. "We only have one chance; the four races must remove all the spatial laws from the forest at the same time."
"The heroic power will react if you do that; everyone will die uselessly," Immortal Crane King responded, putting in an enormous effort, drained of strength.
Ordinary people referred to the queen’s golden power as heroic power, or sometimes sacred power. Few knew about the queen; they only heard from heroes that a Sacred Goddess was illuminating them. But it was something very ethereal, about which no one knew much.
The whale quickly retorted, "That mediocre power is no problem for me. But it will only work if the spatial power is removed; then, Ruri can control 100% of the formation."

The four stared wide-eyed. Heroic power was the most sacred and powerful thing in the universe. No one dared be arrogant, or even breathe in the presence of a hero and their things. But to him, it seemed no more than an annoying irritant...
In that moment, the four felt an immense hope. They had chosen to stay by his side just because it was the only possible thing to do; now they realized they had made the best decision of their lives.
"We don’t have the energy to communicate with our race...," the Kun Peng began to speak, but stopped when the four felt Kaiyka’s presence approaching. She was already radiating a terrifying soul power.
"I’ll give you the power; I don’t have much, use it wisely," she said dryly, and everyone felt their souls being filled with divine power.
Kaiyka and Coltia already knew the plans and acted. The whale turned to the sky; the fight didn’t stop, and the explosions of souls only increased after sensing their arrival. Out of the six million, almost half had already died from self-detonation.
"Your sacrifices won’t be in vain. Unlike these four idiots, you’re the real saviors of your races! Hold them off a little longer!" Bruno shouted, and everyone in the skies heard him.
Suddenly, a frenzied roar came from them; their spirits soared, and they attacked even more fiercely.
Thirty seconds left...
"Everyone is ready. When you give the order, you’ll remove all the spatial laws," the Zaori king said to the whale.
At that moment, the four souls began to dim, like lights losing power. They were extremely weak, and the heavenly laws were trying to take them away. Kaiyka, who now had only 10% of her soul, made a move to stabilize them. But now she and the four were almost out of commission.
"Coltia." The whale turned to the Silkworm, who was surrounded by her glowing runes.
She opened her eyes and flapped her wings. "The law is really all over the place. I’m ready, I can influence it and help."
The whale nodded and turned to Ruri. She was surrounded by her multicolored runes and the runes of the formation; she was the last link to victory.
The plan was simple: this place is an early and still flawed version of sealed worlds. The formation that governed the place served to maintain basic rules, using the queen’s power for protection; and it also sealed immortal cultivators within the divine mountains.
Alm and Bruno had already received the information from that dwarf. The Void Forest remained sealed from the outside world and secure because of the spatial power of the four races. They had to maintain and send these laws, which is why they lived together and close to the place. If the spatial laws were forcefully removed, the formation would try to stop it.
As for the immortal cultivators, the four kings had already said that all were dead. They were used to create the law of the Void Dream. The Celestial Jaguar gained a bit of those laws, and the method to manipulate and improve them, but 99% of it was still sealed in the forest within the formation.
So, Coltia could influence that law a bit, as if she were trying to steal it. The four races would remove the spatial power that maintained the place. Meanwhile, Ruri would try to fully control the formation. The only problem was that the queen’s power would react to kill anyone daring to do these things.
Could Alm and Bruno handle all of her power? In full force and coming head-on, of course not. That’s why the three sides had to break the rules at the same time. This way, her power would be divided among Ruri, Coltia, and the beasts.
With the power divided into three, they had some confidence. They had the Origin law, which could fight the queen; and they had a great opportunity to practice with a lot of it, learning a bit about its limits.
But that would only solve one-third of the problem; the rest depended entirely on them.
Ten seconds left...
Ruri opened her eyes, turning to the whale. ’Everything’s ready.’
The whale turned to Kaiyka. She nodded and burned 9% of her soul, becoming just a fragment. The four kings received everything to give the final command.
The whale grunted, and all his primordial power was activated. At the same time, through the array, everyone felt something being taken from them. It was as if space distorted around the whale, while his eyes were like two brown beacons from Earth.
"GO!"
His voice thundered like a celestial roar.
The four kings sent the message. Outside, all the beasts roared, using the full extent of their bloodlines to dominate the spatial laws of the formation. Coltia and Ruri sensed the change and acted together.
Coltia made the laws created in this place move toward her, getting out of control of the place. The formation reacted, and she was targeted. At the same time, Ruri invaded the main runes of the formation and began to dominate them.
The three sides acted almost simultaneously, and all the defensive mechanisms of the place reacted without any intelligence. The power was divided into three, materializing three destructive golden rays toward them.
It all lasted less than a second.
The whale waved, making the entire Void Forest tremble, and all the Origin law shot toward Ruri, meeting the first ray.
In a swift motion, he stepped toward Coltia and swallowed her directly into the inventory. The ray aimed at her focused on the whale. With the same movement, he shot toward the exit, meeting the third ray.
They were sure that the Origin law would block Ruri’s ray. The one for Coltia was now aimed at him. As for the one going to the beasts outside, he jumped forward as a shield.
Dividing the power into three reduced the intensity of each individual attack. The queen’s power is overwhelming when unified; dividing it means each portion is less intense, making it possible to use defenses that would be ineffective against the full power.
Facing a full-force attack head-on would be impossible. Dividing the power into smaller parts distributes the risk, and the consequences of failing to defend against one attack are less catastrophic.
In short, Alm and Bruno were sure they could block one of those rays with their maximum defenses. But the second would depend on whether they could absorb that power.
Alm and Bruno, now as one due to this nearly suicidal act, smiled slightly. ’Two are ours; Behemoth, I hope your defenses are really good.’
The maximum power of the primordial beast, combined with the physical cultivation, was activated. It was all or nothing, and by their instinctive sense of danger... it was a 50% chance of living or dying; the will of the heavens would flip the coin and decide their fate.
