The whole whale group was together in formation, with the older members training the younger ones. It made no sense to go out looking for the Yinblood jewelry because the whale would collect a large batch as soon as it sensed where they would appear. For now, this joint training was effective for the newcomers but had a clear limit to how far they could go.

Those who hadn’t developed their manifestations were extremely anxious and worried. They trained tirelessly and tried everything, feeling that they would be abandoned if they didn’t achieve this quickly.

On that training day, everyone stopped when they saw Ruri return after being gone for a few days. She looked like a bright, smiling sun. Everyone knew what had happened and kept silent.

She approached Coltia, who was helping Runula train the beasts, and delivered the whale’s message along with a spatial ring packed with items.

Meanwhile, Alm and Bruno were inside a mountain, ready to forge and prepare their allies. In a few months, the third sealed world of the sect, which they hadn’t visited yet, would be available, and they would certainly face problems there.

First, they removed all the ancestral immortal cores from the armors they had brought from the Devil’s Mountain; these were at the earth or heaven grade. They were already high-level items and considered priceless treasures anywhere in the divine world. But they could still be improved using chaotic refinement.

The golems gifted them with a massive amount of Petricite, a flexible and durable material, perfect for forging armor or clothes. By using the base material of the armors and adding Petricite, the armors would be much more effective. (Chapter 562)

They started by removing all the immortal cores from the armor. Then, they separated the material into three categories: Defenders, Attackers, and Mystics.

Defender-type armor would be for those focused on close combat; they could defend themselves and use the armor to protect allies. A ’storage’ rune could provide extra Qi for emergencies, while a ’repulsion’ rune would offer a chance to move quickly and save an ally.

Attacker-type armor would be for those who had little defense and generally fought from a distance. The ’repulsion’ rune could save them in emergencies, and since not everyone knew how to use earth laws correctly, the ’Prudent Elegance’ rune would finally be used. This rune would alter the armor’s appearance, giving mobility, but in emergencies, the armor’s true form would appear, being defensive and heavy without hindering the user.

Mystic armors would be for a few specialists in certain laws or Dao, who needed unique features. For them, an ’enchantment’ rune would be added, and the other would be designed individually.

They mixed the material of the three types with Petricite; now they just needed to remold the armors. The problem was that they would create strange and rough things, like the armor they made for Almin a long time ago. This was an artistic job they weren’t skilled at, unlike the simple garments they made for Calirer, who wore very little.

So, after thinking a bit, they remembered Coltia. She was experienced, and her race specialized in creating a type of divine silk that could be used as fabric for clothes. They felt she would be able to create something with a better design, especially for women.

Ruri handed everything to Coltia, and everyone would help create something aesthetically pleasing. Meanwhile, Alm and Bruno focused on what they knew best: weapons.

First, they took out the lance and saber of heritage grade they received from Dem Zarn. These two weapons were aimed at their two main powers: the saber for the Yin demon bloodline and the lance for the Yang of the dragon bloodline.

The material of these weapons was already terrifying enough, and they felt they wouldn’t be able to improve it by mixing with the materials they had. But they could still do something. Lansha was an expert in Yang, due to the Yangta bloodline, and she would be the perfect bearer for the lance.

Unlike Langrum, her daughter Lansha did not use a heavy and large weapon. She preferred something close to a light and elegant halberd, combining the lethality of a lance with the precision of a blade. The shaft ended in slightly curved blades on both ends. This design allowed Lansha to perform agile movements and versatile attacks, combining both thrusts and slashes in a single strike. It wasn’t something Alm and Bruno had created; apparently, during the time he spent in that universe, Vuard forged this weapon specifically for her.

The powerful lance they received from Dem Zarn was suitable for creating four weapons identical to the ones Lansha used, making it ideal for chaotic refinement. They divided the material into four parts and fused them into a single piece, resulting in a fine and terrifying halberd with a complete connection to Yang.

The saber from Dem Zarn went through a similar process. They called Rehvka, who handed over her dagger. The material of the saber was as dark and sinister, tied to Yin, as the dagger. They fused everything into a single dagger; when finished, the blade emitted a suffocating feeling just by being looked at.

The immortal cores were placed back into the two weapons. The dagger, which was previously only a saint-level weapon, changed completely, surprising Alm and Bruno. It jumped straight to the ancestral level of heritage grade.

The soul in the immortal core defined the power, but the weapon’s material still had a significant influence. The Dao of the Immortal Armament God, given to all the immortal weapons of the allies, also contributed to the result.

Next, they carved two runic seals, following another pattern established by Alm and Bruno:

Piercing weapons, like daggers and lances, received ’sharpness’ and ’repulsion’ seals. The ’sharpness’ gave destructive strikes, and the ’repulsion’ provided unmatched throwing speed.

Cutting weapons, like swords and sabers, were equipped with ’sharpness’ and ’enchantment’ seals. The ’sharpness’ was evident, and the ’enchantment’ helped adapt the weapon to the user’s skills, offering more freedom in combat.

Impact weapons, like axes and clubs, received ’repulsion’ and ’range’ seals. Impact weapons, despite their great destructive power, are slow due to their weight; the ’repulsion’ offered fast movement, and the ’range’ seal provided a surprise effect, allowing unexpected hits on opponents. A hit with this kind of weapon was enough to cause significant internal damage; swapping the higher damage of ’sharpness’ for a nearly guaranteed surprise hit could make a difference in battle.

After establishing the patterns, they finished the weapons and used the magenta ore obtained from the coffin in the Devil’s Mountain. This ore had an affinity with all natural elements, making it an excellent treasure for Corin. (Chapter 575)

Corin handed over his lance for modification, and his core was transferred to a new, bright magenta lance. Like Rehvka’s dagger, due to the material, the new lance reached directly the ancestral level, heaven grade.

They then focused on the hundreds of ancestral weapons they had. They chose the best materials and cores, creating powerful weapons for the others, all equipped with two runic seals.

Ruri, Rehvka, and Lansha were the only ones with heritage-grade weapons. However, with the runic seals, these weapons had the potential of an Immortal Emperor-level weapon, something that probably only heroes possessed.

The others received heaven grade immortal weapons, which, combined with the runic seals, offered a power equivalent to heritage weapons.

Nixis was the one that took the most work. Instead of a conventional weapon, she used a zither. After a period of reflection, Alm and Bruno remembered the threads they found in a second coffin in the Devil’s Mountain. These threads belonged to a beastly race similar to a spider and seemed to be made of steel, with a strange connection to the natural laws. (Chapter 580)

They called Nixis to the cave, and the two worked together. With her help, they forged a new zither using the powerful materials from the ancestral weapons and incorporated the threads. To their surprise, Nixis said she didn’t need any runic seals or an immortal core. Her Dao was unique, and those threads were sufficient by themselves.

After fifteen days of intense work, Coltia had made the armor for everyone. The female armor was crafted with care and approved by them. Although called armor, it was light and flexible like clothing due to the Petricita.

All the women, except Lansha and Ambry, didn’t fight head-on or have great defensive power. So, with the runic seal of Prudent Elegance, these armors became indistinguishable from fabrics and clothes, disguising their true terrifying nature.

Ruri was the only one who didn’t change her clothes. Although old, hers were made from high-grade elven fabric, just like the new ones. Alm and Bruno added a new runic seal of enchantment, incorporating spatial laws. Combined with the storage seal and earth laws, Ruri, who was good at using these laws after so much time, gained substantial defense and greater ease in using spatial laws.

After almost a month of intense work, all the allies were finally fully equipped. They still had hundreds of ancestral immortal cores and materials to equip more individuals, planning to form an army gradually.

With everything ready, everyone received their gear and began to get used to it. Meanwhile, Alm and Bruno prepared for the next step, meditating alone for three months. Their focus was on the Tree of Chaos and the knowledge gained about chaos laws. They felt ready to create something new with it.

The system’s benefits were always impressive, and with much effort, they succeeded. First, they called Ruri. Excited, she rushed to meet them, and after a few months, she thought they missed her. However, she only received the full power of the Reverse Dragon Scale of Chaos Yang.

Ruri isolated herself to slowly assimilate the power but didn’t get discouraged. When she mastered everything perfectly, she knew they wouldn’t run away. They could avoid it, but when they were truly together, she could make them forget everything and not want to leave.

Then, everyone was gathered in the cave, and soon the whale calmly explained the next steps.

"All fifteen will be divided into four groups. In the future, each group will have its own army, and you will be the generals responsible for them," said the whale calmly, and everyone swallowed hard. "For that, you will have the greatest responsibility and need to be as strong as possible. Are you prepared?"

Those who felt left behind clenched their fists firmly. During these months, they felt it would take years to reach the others’ level; creating a manifestation went far beyond effort and talent.

The whale looked at everyone and nodded in satisfaction. "Everyone will start training that can be described as nothing short of unmatched torture. It won’t be physical, but it will forge your wills like never before. If you survive, completing the manifestation will be simple. The runes of an Empyrean I gave you, unlike common cultivators, have their power defined by the user’s Dao Heart."

They listened with understanding, and the whale closed its eyes. The spatial inventory rune on its forehead began to glow. In a few seconds, several gray runes appeared and floated around it.

It opened its eyes and spoke softly. "These are the core runes of the Tree of Chaos I possess. I will manipulate these runes in each of you, and you will all emerge in a world created in your minds. In it, the rune will place you face to face with your worst enemies and fears."

"Don’t be fooled; it’s an illusory world in your minds, but when you are hurt, the power of these runes will make you feel real pain, directly in your soul, much worse than anything physical. The wounds are real and directly in the soul; this can easily kill you. You won’t notice any difference from reality and will feel as if you are physically facing an enemy alone. You’ll have to fight him for real; your powers and techniques will be as you remember, but the opponent’s power will initially be superior to yours."

"In other words, you will be beaten and brutally defeated. Then you will return to reality and have a day to find a way to advance and win. Then you will return to fight until you succeed, or not; let’s see which happens first."

Everyone, even those who already had a manifestation, would participate. This was a method created by Alm and Bruno with the help of their divine soul power combined with chaos laws. The knowledge of these laws, after seeing the Tree of Chaos in practice, finally yielded more results.

To apply this method to all fifteen, Alm and Bruno would burn almost 80% of their divine souls; however, the method was a unique and unparalleled training. Afterwards, Ruri would be happy to help restore their souls.

Ruri was definitely right. Alm and Bruno avoided her to stay focused but didn’t hesitate when they found a good excuse to be with her.

’We’ll call this technique Chaotic Enlightenment. It will be our first great weapon to create invincible cultivators.’

So everyone began the unbelievably severe and difficult training. After a week, the three young Feys fell into a coma for three days after severely injuring their souls. But Alm and Bruno helped them recover, and they soon returned.

After another month, a message from Mistie arrived for them. It was time to work... and perhaps rescue his brother.
