The entire planet Gloom, along with all the advisors and even Mistie, was completely frozen and dominated by that primordial gaze. It was a shadow created by the will of the Chaos Dragon; although it wasn’t immensely powerful, it was so supreme that none of them could breathe or even think of making any noise.

"Half-human." A voice echoed through the cosmos with the weight of an apocalyptic roar. "Do you dare challenge my disciple? Does your bloodline from that earth ox give you some confidence?"

Mistie and everyone else felt like a celestial hammer was pressing down on their bodies, souls, and minds with each syllable spoken. Just hearing that voice was terrifying; feeling its will could lead to a collapse. They were mere mortal life forms, while he was an immortal and primordial creature. But...

"Hm? What does a motherfucker like you have to say?" The whale’s voice sounded sarcastic and disdainful.

"I’m in a good mood now. You sent me many gifts. The reverse scale that fused with him will be really useful for my wife. Just run away with this bastard and leave everything behind. The next time I see him, I’ll just steal... I mean, receive the gifts without beating him up too much."

The whale’s words possessed a Qi, and echoed in the void of space as if they were the only audible thing in the entire cosmos. The majestic figure seemed to hear but couldn’t immediately reason or interpret those words.

It took a few seconds before its eyes gleamed. Suddenly, everything was covered by a bloody and furious fluctuation.

"Very well... that idiot really...!"

The figure began to speak when, suddenly, it exploded like a dark wave emerging from its center. All the Feys turned pale and frightened by the sudden change.

At the center was that golden rune, which was the power of the conqueror that would resurrect Dem Zarn. But it was suddenly attacked by a blade, and the shadow of the Dragon immediately protected it.

Everyone looked at the epicenter, stupefied, and saw a female figure wrapped in a Yin cloak, like a long dark dress. She held a dagger that pulsed macabrely, and as soon as she appeared, the celestial laws seemed to focus on her.

"A... divine candidate," murmured an advisor.

In an instant, Rehvka seemed to have disappeared into the void. They were in space, a place where few laws existed; but it was where countless demons had recently died. An intense death Yin flowed through that region near planet Gloom; Rehvka was like a tiger with wings.

Meanwhile, the shadow of the Chaos Dragon materialized again with an almost fiery look. Everyone felt as if the world’s fury was turned against them.

The shadow searched and searched... but found nothing.

"I can only call that Behemoth idiot an idiot. A bastard like you, no," said the whale calmly.

The Dragon turned to the whale, but in the next instant, its gaze shifted. It saw a small human staring at it from above. In her eyes, a green light ignited. Suddenly, space twisted and another draconic and primordial power emerged.

He was just a will, using the power of the reverse scale that was in his disciple’s body. With the emergence of the power of another reverse scale, his power naturally stopped flowing wildly; after all, a dragon was historically the worst enemy of another dragon. Therefore, Ruri using this now was much more effective than anything else.

"You...!"

The figure began to speak, but stopped and roared furiously. An assassin dagger attacked the golden rune again, forcing him to defend it or his disciple would completely die.

Above, Ruri, surrounded by a green aura, slowly drew her katana. A runic seal pulsed in the center of the blade. Spatial laws and mental power seemed to magically blend, creating a terrifying pressure that covered the world.

"Let’s go, Les," Ruri murmured, and her katana sliced through the air with a decisive motion.

**SLASH!!**

The cut tore space in half, while the dark void around it seemed to gain a violet hue. The strike moved towards the golden rune, just after the Dragon defended against the assassin’s dagger. Both powers were terrifying and could surely destroy the rune, but...

**ROAAAAAAR!!**

Suddenly, a furious roar echoed like judgment day. The entire planet Gloom trembled, and its rotation stopped. The celestial laws were petrified, and the world’s Qi froze; everything was subdued by the primordial roar.

Ruri’s blade strike exploded in the space like violet fireworks. However, Ruri only smiled sarcastically. Meanwhile, Rehvka couldn’t be seen anywhere.

After a few seconds, everything stopped.

A pair of giant white eyes opened. That was the only visible thing of the Dragon. Its glorious form could no longer be seen; it had burned much of its will with that roar, but it had no choice.

"Silence, pathetic snake."

When those words sounded, the primordial beast’s white eyes trembled in fear, leaving all the Feys who witnessed it stunned. Those eyes turned upward. In an instant, the previously dark world, then white, changed again. Everything seemed to be covered by multicolored and radiant hues.

Corin was above, his hair flowing as if there were winds in space. The world bowed before him. At that moment, the once-glorious will seemed now like a mere insect; it was completely suppressed by a mortal?!

"The master was speaking. An idiot like you should just listen quietly," Corin said, and his voice resounded like divine thunder.

"How... how... a god..." murmured a counselor, trembling.

"Interesting," the Dragon’s voice sounded cold. "A Chromaraic who managed to turn his primordial bloodline... a human with a dead body... another who inherited the green scale..."

"Oh? Wanting to negotiate now? Now my demand is different," the lazy and light voice of the whale sounded, making everyone swallow hard. "Let’s see... let’s see... hmm... ah, fuck it!"

Everyone listened, stunned, and the whale spat afterward. "I don’t like choices; I always want everything. So, I’ll take it all."

A snort echoed through the cosmos, as if the true body of that figure was there. Then, a laugh sounded maliciously and sarcastically. After a few seconds, the primordial voice spoke. "Very, very good..."

"Corin."

"Yes. Stay quiet!" the whale spoke, and Corin replied, immediately making the celestial laws vibrate, suppressing the will.

The pair of eyes trembled, feeling pressured by the legitimate primordial power, while its own will was now weak. But it didn’t have time to feel bad; it focused on the whale, eyes wide open.

"We won’t waste anything, be swallowed." The words sounded macabre, and the whale’s eyes glowed villainously, even the Chaos Dragon felt suffocated by that will.

On the whale’s forehead, a shining spatial rune appeared. He stepped forward, and a divine, suppressive force began to draw in all the remaining essence of that pair of eyes.

"YOU!"

The whale smiled. "Hm? Recognize your ex’s move? She told me to kick your balls... well, I won’t do something that vulgar."

Suddenly, all the Feys felt their hearts racing uncontrollably. The deep, almost desperate fear emanating from those eyes was palpable.

This Primordial Dragon knew this technique well and understood the fragile state it was in. This half-human, using the suppression the Chromaraic exerted over him, combined with the power of another dragon, could swallow him along with the golden rune. If that happened, his disciple was doomed.

"YOU PATHETIC MORTAL! I SWEAR I’LL MAKE YOU REGRET THIS!!"

His voice sounded like a divine curse, and all the celestial karma seemed to have heard his cry and marked the whale.

"Hahahahahahah!"

The whale laughed uncontrollably, his laughter so evil that everyone who had never heard it trembled in fear. Mistie and the counselors swallowed hard; yet everyone in the whale’s group seemed strangely excited.

A dark and sinister aura formed around him. The world’s black karma over him emerged as if the curtains had been lifted.

The dragon’s white eyes froze, and genuine fear appeared in them. What the hell was this mortal? How could someone have such dense karma?

The whale then turned to him. Their eyes met... and his lips moved slowly...

"R-u-n."

The gigantic white eyes widened. "I’ll be back!"

Suddenly, all the remaining will spun and condensed into a small shadow of a ghostly white snake.

The whale moved, and an infinite devouring power flowed toward that will. The Dragon roared in clear desperation, and everyone could hear this ridiculous sound. Was this the Chaos Yang Dragon? He was now a legitimate pathetic snake.

All that soft and primordial power began to be mercilessly devoured. Simultaneously, the small snake opened its mouth and swallowed the golden rune. Then, it turned in the opposite direction and disappeared, entering the void at an unmatched speed.

It took two seconds, and everything was gone.

Thea stood at a distant point, holding her weapons. She sighed and put them away, her power was not needed. Alm and Bruno acted meticulously and were not willing to lose their gifts. They kept Thea’s card for emergencies, but everything went well.

Alm and Bruno smiled internally and turned to the planet Gloom. All eyes were on it, but the whale seemed so relaxed and ordinary as if he was strolling in the park.

A disturbing silence extended. The whale moved without emotion until a shadow appeared beside him, grabbing his arm; at the same time, space distorted with another female figure grabbing the other.

Internally, Alm and Bruno were excited. That idiot really left everything behind and the only thing he took was the golden rune. Inside the inventory, all the power flow from the reverse scale within Dem Zarn’s body was stored.

’Two good weapons and the power of the reverse scale. Can’t wait to meet our sponsor again,’ Bruno said, laughing lightly.
