The entire planet Gloom was shaken by a demonic voice so loud and powerful that the weaker ones living in the forest almost fainted. The whale and his group immediately recognized that voice—it was Dem Zarn.

"Who do you think you are?!" The response came like celestial thunder. A wave of fierce power erupted from the planet, directly hitting all the demons in the vicinity and making them stagger back several meters, their expressions pale.

"You!" Dem Zarn spat dryly. "I’ve come in the name of the Shadow God. I know that half-human bastard is here; he blasphemed against our god! He must be captured!"

A small figure floated up, confronting the demons. They were all of the Ancestral Devil race, cultivated in the Spirit Fusion Realm. Mistie quickly realized that Dem Zarn wasn’t representing the Shadow God sect.

Regardless of who it was, it was taboo to attack this planet because of the secret guarded within it. The whale could spit in the face of the Shadow God, stating that neither the sect nor the god itself could attack the planet, or else the wrath of the heroes would fall upon them. Of course, there was a limit, but they had to have a very good reason to give to the heroes. And it should be something that would harm the heroes’ interests. In short: the sect would never tarnish its name by foolishly coming here. Only a foolish young master would come like this.

"Frankly, do you think you can come here into my sect and do as you please?" The little Fey snorted, immediately her cultivation exploded, making the cosmos roar. "Do you really believe you’ll walk out of here alive?"

All the demons felt their bodies under pressure, enveloped by a deadly aura. Dem Zarn paled and roared in response. A power surged within him, covering him with a primordial aura and his demonic figure was surrounded by dense Yang scales.

"How dare you? The Shadow God himself confirmed to his faithful who blasphemed against him. And I have physical proof of his message. Your sect’s half-human cannot escape."

His words were loud enough for the entire planet Gloom to hear. Beside Mistie, a dozen Feys emerged from the planet and stared down the demon. They were the oldest members, precisely the sect’s counselors.

With a gesture from Dem Zarn, runes flew from his spatial ring and a formation began to form in front of him. A pulsating, dark power emerged exuberantly. All the counselors swallowed hard at the sight.

It was a divine and dark power, undoubtedly created by a god. Everyone trembled; it couldn’t be forged. All the counselors took a deep breath and focused their senses towards that power. Soon, the message of the Shadow God became clear to them... it was an image of a round figure, destroying the statue and leaving a peculiar message.

"Is he... is he insane?" a counselor murmured fearfully, echoing the sentiments of several others around.

Dem Zarn grinned sinisterly. "Are you understanding now? Hand him over!"

The high-level Fey counselors turned seriously to Mistie. "We cannot protect him. He is just a newcomer who recently joined the sect."

"It doesn’t matter. Say one more word and I’ll kill you for treason," Mistie replied dryly. "He’s not a newcomer; he’s the Leader Dean of the sect, someone superior to you! He has not violated any sect rules; but you are breaking the rules by not protecting someone above you."

The counselors quickly turned grim-faced. Suddenly, a message echoed in Mistie’s mind. ’Lady Leader, our sect is already being targeted. We understand this would happen sooner or later, but if we do not hand him over now, the Shadow God sect will have even more reason to intensify their attacks.’

The words reached her, but in the next second, her response was a nod and a jade spear larger than herself materializing in her hand. She then pointed it towards the demons and roared.

"You old bastards! You’re on your last legs and just want to live as comfortably as possible for the few years you have left. You don’t think about the future. He is our future, whether those bastards attack sooner or later."

At that moment, all the demons, including Dem Zarn, felt their cultivations being sealed, death becoming tangible. Even Dem Zarn was stunned. Was she insane?

"Lady Mistie! You can’t kill him! He’s a heroic disciple, and look at his Yang bloodline; he has a connection to the Chaos Yang Dragon."

A counselor spoke desperately, and everyone around seemed pale in the face of impending disaster.

"What can that bastard dragon do? It’s not going to attack the planet. You’re pathetic," the little Fey spat, and her spear pulsed. All spatial laws trembled, and the entire space became turbulent with the full power of a peak divine cultivator.

Dem Zarn quickly realized the mistake he had made. He came on his own accord and believed that showing his status and his master’s power would suffice. How could there be such a reckless leader? How was she placed in such an important position?

Mistie looked at the contorted face of that demon and read his thoughts. Reckless? Even a cornered ant would raise its mandibles to the heavens and fight to the death. The blame for her acting this way lay squarely on the Shadow God sect itself; she would never have acted like this under normal circumstances. But now, with all the troubles and losses, either she did something or the sect would crumble.

She chose to believe in that half-human. Throughout all this time, she had pondered deeply but never found a logical reason to trust him. Everything about that round being was strange. He arrived causing an unbelievable disturbance in the sect, his home planet simply vanished, all his allies were abnormal... But, instinctively, she felt she should trust him, regardless of the consequences.

She couldn’t recall encountering a cultivator who acted like him. He took care of multiple allies and still spent his time and resources on random beasts; not even she would do such a thing. Moreover, he recruited three young Feys and helped resolve internal issues within the sect.

Life was hard enough on its own, but he took responsibility for many others, even when clearly unable to do it all alone. ’Was this exactly what attracted others to him? He just let others do what he could not...’

The little Fey pondered this and then sighed. Then her lips moved, and she murmured slowly, causing all the demons to seem to lose their souls from their bodies as they listened.

"Die."

"Whoa, hold on there." A lazy voice echoed in Mistie’s ears and everyone present.

Everyone turned towards the planet and saw a round figure approaching slowly. Behind him, a group of fifteen people followed him, looking carefree as if they were going for a training session in the field.

"The sect doesn’t need to get involved in my problems," the whale spoke calmly.

Suddenly, his entire body pulsed, and a celestial blue sun appeared before the eyes of everyone present. All the counselors and demons felt a suffocating and dense divine power coming from him. How could he have so much of this power? Everyone thought in surprise.

"This is an issue between two divinities. My faithful and I will handle it, just step back," the whale added, placing a hand on his back as he stared down the demons. "Came for another beating? Brought others... wait?"

The whale looked at the demons around Dem Zarn and saw only male figures. "Didn’t know demons had such a weird pattern... well, it doesn’t matter, we were in the middle of something important."

Dem Zarn exploded furiously. "You killed all my women! I will make you pay!"

The whale snorted and lazily pointed forward. "Shoo away the noisy flies."

Immediately, everyone behind him drew their weapons. The sound of blades being unsheathed, along with their fighting spirit, permeated the air.

The smell of blood hung, even in the emptiness of space. All the Feys counselors and demons widened their eyes, feeling a strange pressure. Facing those young ones felt like facing lifelong war veterans, immersed in a sea of blood.

In the next moment, the void of space seemed to freeze. Then, a golden power erupted as if several stars were being born around the celestial blue sun. All fifteen behind the whale activated the rune of an Empyrean, and a disturbance in the celestial laws was felt by everyone.

"Hahaha! Think you’ll be lucky like last time?! This time, there’s nowhere for you to escape."

Dem Zarn laughed sinisterly, and all his white scales vibrated, filling with power. He drew a spear, and instantly, everything around was covered in a bright white light.

"That... is an immortal ancestral weapon, at heritage level!" a Fey counselor spoke, completely awestruck.

All the Feys, and even Mistie, were equally wide-eyed. They had never seen a weapon of this level before.

"Denil, fall back!" Mistie quickly spoke and moved her weapon again. "You can’t handle this. Don’t worry, I’ll protect you."

"Hm? Just don’t interfere. This is something small and irrelevant." The whale spoke calmly. "Go!"

Immediately, all fifteen behind the whale roared and surged forward.
