After the conversation, Mistie promised she would convince the councilors to accept the whale’s demands. She would call an emergency meeting immediately to discuss it.

But Alm and Bruno didn’t care about the outcome. They gave the opportunity to this sect; if they didn’t grant them freedom, staying would be a huge waste of time. The initial plan was just to look for the scales scattered around the planet, and if the system gave them the mission to free the Chaos Dragon, they would do it without hesitation and then escape.

But now everything had changed. Besides feeling they could trust Mistie and the Fey here, they found out they needed to create an army. They would have to expand their influence, and using the array, they would create a new river of souls separate from the celestial laws. They couldn’t be limited by the rules of a sect.

The whale returned to the Dragonkin Haven Forest. In just over a day, the entrance test for new disciples would begin. It would be in the inner arena, only the Fey from the planet would participate, and they would obviously watch.

Upon reaching the mountain that was their base, they saw the scene of Ruri and Runula commanding a large army of draconic beasts. Everyone had heard they chose to stay, and Ruri and Runula were determined to keep them around.

In Runula’s case, she was the one who trained and led them. But Ruri, after absorbing the green scale, all the beasts with draconic bloodline felt a connection and extreme power coming from her. Everyone felt attracted to the blood of a Primordial Dragon, as if she were the empress who would lead them.

"Well, now that it’s just them, if all goes well, we can make these beasts official disciples of the sect. Ruri will create her first faction with them," Alm said mentally, and then they entered the mountain.

They had a lot to do and organize, they gained a staggering amount of resources, and they had to turn them into power for everyone.

First of all, they took out the immortal weapons that were clearly on a higher level than the Saint level ones they had. They had in their possession a hundred of them, all from the Devil Mountain.

Since they said they were disciples of the God of Forge, it would be bad to ask these things to Mistie. But it wasn’t a problem, now they had someone to ask.

They took the sword out of the inventory. "Les, I’m finally going to prepare you to give to my wife. But first, I need you to explain about the immortal weapons. The Devil God said this sword was the primordial weapon of your Fey clan, what’s the difference from my weapons?"

Les, who was the weapon spirit and was once a Fey and wife of the Devil God, explained calmly.

She knew five levels of immortal items; almost 90% of immortal cores were used to create weapons, but other types of equipment or artifacts could also be made with immortal cores.

The levels are: Spiritual level Immortal Item, Saint level, Ancestral level, Emperor level, and the Legendary Divine level.

"Liumi and your other weapons were just Saint level. At this level, there is no differentiation; the difference between the weapons is minimal, determined mainly by the material of the item. But at the higher level, from Emperor level onwards, weapons are divided into Earth Grade, Sky Grade, and Heritage Grade."

According to her, the sword that was her body, along with all the other items they brought from Devil Mountain, was of Ancestral level, varying between grades.

Ancestral level weapons are rare, with an extremely low chance of being forged. An excellent forger could die of old age without ever managing to make one; this is quite common. Generally, a forger who manages to make one has their name remembered in history. Few cultivators possess a weapon of this level.

"The heritage weapon of my clan is one of the highest grades and there were only a hundred of them in my galaxy. As for the Emperor level ones, only my husband, my master, and the other Gods had one," Les said calmly, reminiscing about the past.

Alm asked curiously, "And about the Legendary Divine level weapons, do you know anything?"

"They are weapons that exist only in legends. My husband was an immortal cultivator and even he couldn’t say for sure if they really exist... but... if they do, nowadays, with the current power of the Queen and her heroes, they would have possession of all of them," Les replied, sighing.

Alm and Bruno asked about all possible details. Spiritual level immortal items are the lowest level and hardly have any advantages. The only difference is the existence of an intelligent spirit in their core, which can slightly help in battle. Of course, in an ascending world, this was a difference like night and day.

Saint level immortal weapons have their own spirit and power, like laws and a bit of internal Qi. This completed and greatly enhanced the cultivator’s capabilities.

Ancestral level weapons can merge with the bearer, becoming one with them, and their natural powers multiply. This is exactly what Liumi, Fides, and Vorion became; they were now Earth Grade Ancestral level weapons.

Emperor level immortal weapons can merge with the environment; depending on the type of weapon and where it is being used, its capabilities would be infinite. The Devil God, for example, used a blood-drinking scythe; in a battlefield where much blood existed, his power only increased to the point that under those conditions, he was the strongest among the Gods.

Also, according to Les, the difference in Grade was like the realms of cultivators: raw power multiplied several times over.

"And weapons with runic seals? Even without an immortal core, they were still highly desired," Bruno asked curiously.

Les explained calmly. An item made of good divine material with a runic seal from the God of Forge is considered an item of power above the Saint level, but still below the Ancestral level. Since the Ancestral level has no price, even if you have many resources, a runic seal is highly valued.

A Spiritual level immortal item with a runic seal can compete in some situations with Ancestral level Earth Grade. If it’s a Saint level immortal item, it definitely ranks as Ancestral level Earth Grade.

In summary, a runic seal adds a Grade to the weapon. The weapons that Alm and Bruno forged at the Saint level were almost at the Ancestral level, so with the help of the Dao of the Immortal Armament God, they easily broke through.

Now that Liumi and his other weapons were officially Ancestral level Earth Grade, with the runic seal, their power was equivalent to Sky Grade.

Alm and Bruno now understood the levels better. And, analyzing all the Ancestral level items they had, they realized the difference lay in the core and not in the item’s soul. It was like cultivation within a person’s body.

"Great, now about you," Bruno spoke calmly. "I’m going to rebuild the sword and make you look like a katana that Ruri is used to. Then, I’ll add two runic seals."

Les fell silent, but at the same time excited. She had heard that the God of Forge could place more than one runic seal, but it was something she had never seen firsthand because it was so rare.

Alm and Bruno analyzed the sword’s material. It was far superior to anything they owned, and the blade was enough to make one and a half katanas. So, they called Ruri and asked for her current katana.

That weapon was made using a fusion of relatively rare metals, even in the divine world. They simply merged the material from the old katana with Les’s sword material. That should have been madness, with a terrifying chance of error for a disciple of the God of Forge, but they weren’t really his disciples. They received all the knowledge from the God of Forge through the system, and even managed to surpass this God in one aspect: they created chaotic refinement.

Alm and Bruno didn’t need to reflect much on which two runic seals they would place. Les’s sword had a pure affinity with spatial laws. To complement Ruri’s powers, they placed an enchantment seal and added mental power to its properties.

A second sharpening runic seal was added to complete it. Ruri’s spatial laws already had a similar cutting level, but with the seal, she would lose almost no Qi to use it, being useful for emergencies; and it could add to the attack power, creating a unique and undefendable cut.

That Ancestral level Heritage Grade immortal core where Les was, was simply removed and added to the new terrifying katana. In one day, Ruri finally received her new weapon and met Les.
