None of the demons dared to use their Qi or any other resource to investigate the approaching annihilation. Therefore, they had no idea that this was the final move; it was so furious and destructive that instinctively they only felt terror and their minds did not reason.

All the annihilation energy was focused on the whale; even if they attacked now, nothing would happen.

Even if they knew, did they need to fear something beyond the heavens? Of course not. They were cultivators at the peak of the divine world, and this group of young people had only recently risen to divine realms.

But... they weren’t dealing with ordinary youths. In fact, there were two sharp blades capable of killing even a Conqueror Empyrean, who was considered nearly immortal. And them? The leader and the counselors were True Empyreans who never dreamed of going beyond that.

It all lasted less than ten seconds. The heavens roared, and the spatial laws above were fractured like spider webs. The demons within the earthen walls were attentive above, stunned in various ways.

The demoness leader clenched her fists tightly, hoping the whale would survive; she wanted to deal with him personally. She stared coldly up at him until... her vision involuntarily lifted upward.

’What?’ Her mind thought confusedly, until finally she felt something grabbing her hair.

In the same second, all the demons around jumped in fright. A katana emerged from emptiness and severed the leader’s head!

Everyone had their Qi and cultivation sealed, but it should have been impossible for something so weak to cut through them... not this blade; for the Dao of the Sword God, everything was possible to cut.

Kaiyka appeared, coldly severing the demoness’s head. Then she grabbed the head by the hair in midair. Afterward, she spoke dryly, "You won’t die yet, my lord has plans for you."

Only in that second did the demoness snap back to senseless reality. Was she dead? How? It didn’t matter, she was a Soul Eater. Her soul was powerful enough to assume another body if she was quick... until her eyes met those eyes that seemed to devour her soul.

In that moment, the demoness’s soul, much stronger than any cultivator in the same realm, was completely sealed within the head. Kaiyka merely snorted emotionlessly; not even the whale knew how to wield his soul more effectively than she did.

That lasted two seconds, until...

BANG! BANG! BANG!

Gunshots reverberated loudly, turning every touched demon into bloody mist. But on the other side, a black shadow cut through the demons even faster than the gunfire.

Thea and Rehvka also appeared, swiftly killing everyone. Rehvka’s potential with her complete Dao became even more terrifying, and she could hide people with her, making everything even more dreadful. The three emerged together from nothingness and began killing everyone so quickly that the demons could barely comprehend what was happening.

The whale had already killed virtually all the high elders. With all the demons there, about fifty were left alive. In five seconds, half of them died. But these were selective deaths: the leader and all the most powerful counselors died first. Confused and unable to use their cultivations; now only sheep remained amidst the three hungry wolves.

After killing the leader, Kaiyka focused on the counselors she deemed oldest. She sealed their souls and stored them away. After ten seconds...

BOOM!!!

The heavens collapsed, and a black lightning that resembled a colossal dragon of destruction plummeted toward the whale.

Alm and Bruno opened all their meridians and let that power enter them defenselessly. A destructive current surged directly into their bodies, nearly causing them to burst into blood. But fortunately, they stored faith power and used everything they had; the gains would be excellent.

After a few seconds.

’Mid Marrow Temperament, completed,’ Alm mentally spoke, but that power continued to course through their bodies. They guided it to destroy the right places, then absorbed and reconstructed.

The faith power dwindled... until, at the last drop, that destructive energy ended. And in the final second, a thunderous sound echoed from their bodies.

’Late Marrow Temperament, complete!’ Bruno exclaimed excitedly. The gains were exceptional for them; they had fully completed the third level of physical cultivation now.

In the next instant, they felt the Behemoth’s marrow fully merging with their refined human marrow; both widened their eyes. ’Excellent, our human marrow has reached a high enough level to allow total assimilation. So the two merged completely. The speed at which our bloodline will expand will multiply by dozens of times,’ Alm said, surprised.

Bruno nodded satisfactorily. ’We managed to seal that abnormal element of the Behemoth. We can study it calmly; after refining the bloodline for some time, it should be possible to use this anti-life power.’

Everything ended, and the whale descended slowly to the ground. All enemies had already been slain in that time. The entire group approached him with shining eyes.

Alm and Bruno looked at them and felt their cultivated and refined power; a certain pride welled within them. Everyone was now high-level divine cultivators.

"Calirer and Runula, get ready. I’m going to place the purest bloodline of all these demons into both of you," the whale said, turning and waving.

All the dead there were from the highest level of Soul Eaters. Every bloodline possessed high, medium, and low-level runes. The whale only removed the highest from the hundreds of demons there. All impure bloodlines, or below the highest possible level of them, were discarded.

Alm and Bruno conducted the procedure personally. It was quick but extremely painful. In a few minutes, Runula and Calirer received something that would change their lives forever. After struggling to endure the whale manipulating their bodies and adjusting everything perfectly, both fell unconscious and entered a deep coma.

Ruri placed Runula into the beastly world, and her other pets returned to rest; all three were at the same cultivation level and accompanied the group.

Then, the whale turned to Kaiyka. She nodded, sending many memories from the demoness. Then, a spatial ring appeared, and the whale retrieved a black tablet.

"Good job. Read everything you can from all the others, then destroy their souls completely along with all evidence," he told Kaiyka, before turning to Ruri and everyone else. "Let’s steal... I mean, collect our reward. We deserve it for the hard work."

The whole group cheered and followed the whale. In an area where the central building had been destroyed, underground, surrounded by a powerful formation, lay the branch’s library and treasure trove. With the leader’s tablet in hand and Ruri to help break the formation, it was quick and easy.

The whale took all the highest-level Jade Slips and took everything useful they found. In the treasures, they found a staggering amount of Essentia Crystal, the currency of the divine realm. They took everything they could, and the group dispersed, searching and grabbing what they deemed best.

After an hour, the whale sensed danger approaching. They had already taken all the most valuable items, so he gathered everyone. They made sure not to leave any concrete traces proving they were the ones who did this.

How would they explain that a group of youths invaded the branch and killed all the most powerful? They couldn’t risk inventing a crazy story. They would simply say they knew nothing.

Thus, that cyan sphere the succubus gained became their salvation. Fortunately, despite having thought and planned to use it several times, they had always been prevented.

The whale quickly decided: they wouldn’t go to another universe, just choose one of their planets from this universe. Soon, the whole group jumped into the portal. The whale waved, and the stone wall exploded; the high-level earth laws with the Behemoth’s bloodline made an obvious connection to him, now everything was erased.

They arrived directly at the heart of the place. Then everything exploded with tribulation, and everyone nearby who managed to see them was caught in the walls. Outside, there were only low-level demons who knew absolutely nothing of what had happened.

The demons couldn’t use Qi, so people far away couldn’t clearly see anything in the sky. With so many thunderstorms and apocalyptic things, it was possible they would say that an army of demonic beasts did all this.

Thus the whale’s group fled, destroying all the bodies and dispersing their souls; no evidence remained that they were there.

It was a dangerous and almost mortal accountability, but in the end, the profits were worth it. The whale waved, sensing the danger closing in, and jumped into the channel, disappearing.
