"COME!" The whale roared suddenly. His Qi shifted and his divine soul ignited. His meridians expanded rapidly and a cracking sound rang out. It was as if something had broken inside his body.

An intimidating aura surged into the sky. Within that darkness, a sea of lightning suddenly cascaded down.

Everything converged in a single direction, as if all celestial laws were focusing on a single round figure before them. It was like seeing thousands of lightning dragons attack a single point in the heavens.

The whale’s group watched in breathless awe. They had faced something terrifying themselves, but survived because he had aided them. Yet this first wave in the heavens couldn’t even be placed on the same scale.

The celestial tribulation was 60% destructive and 40% celestial power. The celestial punishment was 90% destructive, with only 10% celestial power; if you understood how to grasp that fragment of power, the chances of passing through it were very high.

But when it came to this annihilation, nothing else mattered. The heavens simply wanted to destroy you, offering no chance. In celestial annihilation, there was only a complete will to kill.

It was like a mortal trying to swim in the waters of the sea. It was possible because they had time to breathe. The tribulation and the punishment were like that. Grasping the little celestial power was like gaining breathing room. You wouldn’t drown.

But celestial annihilation gave you no breathing room. Yet the whale stood there calmly. He was perfectly fine as he allowed the lightning runes to explode within his body.

He was like a sun radiating electrical power, but in reality, he was being engulfed by it. It took a few minutes before the whale looked down, his gaze meeting the terrified blue demons below.

"Oh? Shall we warm up? It’s still too early for you to get so excited."

The whale spoke lightly. In that moment, he moved his arms, where two tattoos pulsed like two stars. A wicked smile spread across his face. "Let’s have some fun together, come!"

**BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!**

Alm and Bruno managed to harness a small residue of lightning laws. Despite being focused solely on destruction, it was still somehow a lightning strike. They unleashed it all towards these poor demons. As a result, cries of despair echoed among the demons.

They couldn’t defend themselves; if they dared to use their Qi, they would all die, and the entire branch would be buried. Those struck down simply had to accept their fate, dying pathetically without being able to use anything they had cultivated their whole lives.

Within minutes, hundreds of high elders perished. Then swiftly, the numbers escalated to thousands. The advisors, the leader, and a few high elders possessed treasures and other methods to defend themselves. The weaker ones were completely wiped out...

The whale only smirked sinisterly; their time would come. Until everything stopped. The sky and earth trembled, and the void opened as countless figures descended like enormous mountains.

These were massive lightning monsters formed entirely of lightning runes. They were hundreds of meters long and incredibly lifelike. With thunderous roars that shook the sky, they attacked the whale like a swarm of bees.

There were all kinds of them: eagles, elephants, tigers, serpents. Their massive forms were even more powerful and radiated a destructive force superior to that of common demon beasts.

"They’re finally here," the whale murmured lightly.

In the last annihilation, they faced a sea of lightning beasts similar to this. But they were just a large number, commanded by a colossal and powerful beast. Now, Alm and Bruno saw thousands of colossal beasts at the same level as that commander. Each one commanded thousands of smaller lightning beasts. It was definitely a battle dozens of levels above.

Everyone below widened their eyes in fear at the level of their opponents. They put themselves in their place... no matter what they imagined, they would die within seconds. But... the whale just snorted. "Don’t waste my time."

On his forehead, a spatial rune glowed. As soon as Alm and Bruno thought to use all that power, they suddenly felt a strange law running through their veins. Their eyes changed, and a grayish color appeared.

The chaos tree might not have a real soul or life, but it was part of the inventory and merged with him. Now that it had grown and had high power, it synchronized completely and blended with the Devouring God Spatial Technique.

’Great, let’s see what it can do now,’ Alm said lightly, and unleashed the full devouring capability.

The skies changed as if spinning and twisting... it was as if a black hole had suddenly appeared. Remembering that those beasts had no soul, they were just pure energy and laws; a feast for them.

It took exactly thirty seconds. All the lightning beasts were swallowed as if a demonic god had erased their existence.

’It’s become much more efficient, excellent. Maybe the Chaos Dragon technique we used as a base is already something completely different from this...’ Bruno thought calmly.

The horizon emptied and everything ended very quickly. But the skies gave no respite; once the lightning monsters were killed, countless figures descended from the sky again.

They weren’t the Berserk Lightning Warriors as before. They were hundreds, all Sacred Heroic Spirits.

’Before, after the army of common warriors, only nine of them came... well, whatever,’ Alm said, unconcerned. Yet internally, a mortal sensation bothered him; something terrifying awaited them. They had to conserve as much as they could.

These were shadows of heroes from the past, marked by celestial laws. They possessed a remnant of soul, intelligence, and techniques they could use. They were definitely like cultivators, but possessed greater destructive power than the original due to annihilation. Their only limit was their power level, comparable to a cultivator in the late Spirit Fusion Realm.

Everyone watched the skies completely awestruck, clenching their fists. The whale drew a black saber and began fighting fiercely. After a few exchanges... the hearts of everyone in their group seemed to race uncontrollably.

It wasn’t just them who noticed; all the demons realized it too. With every move and wound on the enemies, their power seemed to grow larger and larger.

Alm and Bruno were absorbing the furious energy from within these enemies. Common cultivators wouldn’t endure it, but physical cultivation could greatly benefit from it; so much so that even Corin rose.

Gripping his saber, the whale crazily attacked the Sacred Heroic Spirits. They were not only powerful, but also had combat experience. Fighting them was difficult as they had no openings. While he was surrounded, he could only fight head-on.

Almost every time he killed one, he had to endure an attack from the others. There was one instance where an arrow nearly hit his head.

But after an hour, he had killed a dozen and absorbed them. Then, in the second hour, he had killed over two hundred. His power multiplied every minute. With this immense power surging within him, the whale was like he was possessed by a war god. Those dreadful lightning adversaries began to be destroyed with just a single move each.

After they were destroyed, they tried to reform with what remained. But the inventory rune swallowed everything at once.

After six hours, the last opponent was slain. The whale was covered in blood, yet he did not use the power of faith to heal.

Alm and Bruno figured that now that they had advanced to the divine realms, the amount of faith power needed for a complete recovery of their bodies was extreme. They dared not burn through it until it was absolutely necessary.

Fortunately, they felt power coming from their physical cultivation; their bodies had the effect of nourishing their wounds and regenerating them. Though not as effective as faith power, it could at least sustain these injuries.

"The Early Marrow Temperament is fully completed. We’re in the midst of the Mid Marrow Temperament; if this continues, we’ll advance significantly," Alm exclaimed excitedly. They had been stuck in physical cultivation for a long time.

Suddenly, the whale pointed his blade to the sky. A terrifying aura made the world tremble.

"Don’t keep me waiting!" The whale roared furiously, his saber slashing with a divine boom.

The demons’ pupils shrank, and everyone’s heart seemed to leap into their throats. This whale’s attack rent the very sky itself. When the whale group attacked the tribulation before, the consequences were terrible... now facing something worse, and doing the same... could it get any worse?

Without giving them time to think, it was as if a floodgate had been opened. Pouring through the massive slash, endless lightning bolts fell toward the whale.

"Time to feast!"

They absorbed it all into their bodies, feeling their physical selves grow stronger and stronger. But it lasted briefly. The enormous gash healed rapidly. The sky and earth shook intensely as if the world itself was enraged.

But after this attack, the power of annihilation clearly became less dense. A significant portion of its energy entered the whale’s body; Alm and Bruno shamelessly stole the power from the heavens for themselves.

But the heavens wouldn’t let it end there. As a final move, all their energies condensed. Suddenly, it was as if the darkness above had been rent by two divine hands. A colossal hole emerged, within it, there was only an intense yellowish light.

Runes thickened... then an almost solid figure began to take shape... it was bestial and gigantic... with three horns...

Its eyes seemed to open. At that moment, all the laws of the earth stirred. A primordial presence shook every demon’s conception of reality. How was this possible? Astonished was an understatement for everyone present.

As for the figure above, its gaze focused solely on the whale.

’Behemoth,’ Alm and Bruno murmured in unison.

It was a shadow made with a replica of Behemoth itself. As this figure appeared, a solid mortal sensation was felt by Alm and Bruno. This opponent’s power was extremely dangerous; it could truly kill them.

All figures on the ground felt that primordial presence crashing down on their bodies like a divine hammer. It took only a few seconds for all the demons to collapse on the ground, stunned and unable to move. Meanwhile, the whale’s group felt a second primordial presence rising.

Ruri automatically radiated a green aura; the power of the Chaos Dragon automatically surged from her. This aura was part of her will, so it expanded and protected the entire group.

The whale locked eyes with that colossal figure above; he was an ant compared to it.

’I don’t know who you are. But I sense my existence and will in your body; it seems like my true self handed everything over to you.’ A message entered Alm and Bruno’s minds, surprising them. ’I am just a reflection of will, before my original self was imprisoned. Unfortunately, I have no control over myself and am compelled to attack to kill you.’

Suddenly, the figure’s gaze shifted.

’But...’ He looked around, saw Ruri and his group, then all the fallen demons. ’You... you’re having a party with them? Is this one of those weird things humans like to do? I never understood that obsession of yours...’

’No, idiot!’ Alm cut in sharply. ’Just the reflection is equally... well, whatever.’

Alm couldn’t stay angry; after all, the true Behemoth wasn’t very bright, but had been an ally who helped them through everything, even willing to sacrifice and believing in them. It was like a mischievous pet causing trouble but ultimately reliable.

It all lasted three seconds and that reflection sensed some of their feelings. ’I understand... it seems we have a strong connection. Sorry, but I have to attack. If you use my bloodline to the fullest, it’s possible to reverse the poles of my unique element.’

’Unique element?’ Bruno asked in surprise; Behemoth never mentioned anything about that. Surely he just forgot, he was like that.

’I sense my rune and primordial power in you. Just observe, and the information should flow naturally. Be prepared.’ The voice spoke softly, then that bestial figure opened its mouth.

The entire atmosphere grew heavy. The earth trembled, large chunks of rock broke free from the ground and floated upwards, drawn by a magnetic force. Everything gathered at a single point and grew. Within seconds, a large earthball formed inside the mouth of that primordial shadow.

Alm and Bruno felt it distinctly. The Yin, Yang, and laws of the earth synchronized. Suddenly, that earth was imbued with a new element. Its whole body took on a black appearance with cracks emitting a constant purple glow.

Alm and Bruno saw that and immediately felt the inner earth rune reverberate as if information that had always been there sprouted in their minds.

This was the peak of Behemoth’s power, a unique element created with its abilities. It could manifest the earth element with an anti-life effect, meaning it canceled out life upon contact.

All plant life around the anti-life element rotted away, while the vitality of animals and creatures was drained, rapidly aging them. Powerful cultivators or races with great vitality had some resistance, and the effect would be slower; attempting to affect large areas could also diminish its effectiveness.

When the anti-life rocks hit living bodies, those parts would quickly necrotize, and if not severed promptly, the necrosis would spread throughout the body, leading to total decay. Ultimately, it was a terrible and nefarious element that could devour anything in a matter of time.

Alm and Bruno snapped back to reality, then saw that nefarious meteor falling toward their heads. ’Shit,’ Alm thought dryly.

They hadn’t expected this. They always believed Behemoth didn’t possess significant offensive powers. And now this element was something dreadful and undefendable. Surviving this would be hard enough, and to make matters worse, behind them were many people they had to protect.
