Ruri arrived at the operations base with the three Feys from her group. Deryu and Runula were accepted among the main wyverns of the village and stayed with them. Meanwhile, Coltia stayed in the beast world, as this entire Yin planet was an adverse environment for her; but, being in the divine world, the laws and Qi here could still be used. Knowing about the existence of sealed worlds, eventually, a Yang world or something beneficial would appear for her.
"Master,"
"Sir,"
"Sir,"
The three spoke in unison with surprising calm. Idris just nodded beside Ruri.
The whale noticed the tired expressions on the two Fey girls and understood. Ruri, who was a mentally broken child in the past, recognized the pain and confusion in the young Feys. She knew that to truly help them, she needed to earn their respect first.
Respect was earned... in a rough and exaggerated way, but now they listened to what Ruri had to say. Naturally, for their own survival, the two stuck together without conflicts and remained minimally united.
"We found a Drake who agreed to trade jewels for information. I asked him about everything he knew; there wasn’t much we didn’t already know, but he mentioned something he later seemed to regret," Ruri explained calmly. "He said his ancestor had just departed, heading to the Final Vale. I had to give him everything I had for him to say: this place is where all the most powerful dragon races go when they are close to dying of old age and can’t advance; they disappear and never come back."
Ruri explained that she only managed to learn a bit of this after much insistence; it was definitely a secret he wasn’t supposed to reveal, let alone give details about the place.
"Now that he’s told us, he’s in a tight spot. If we give him an equivalent amount, he’ll tell us everything. Excellent, good job." The whale nodded.
"Hmm, it wasn’t me who found him. It was them." Ruri pointed to the two, giving the whale a meaningful look, while the two lowered their heads silently.
Alm and Bruno sighed lightly. After establishing authority, it’s crucial to provide care and guidance; this promotes healthy emotional development. Now that boundaries were set, it was time to pamper them; with the whale and Ruri as protective figures, the Feys’ worries began to fade over time.
"Hand over your weapons, I’ll adjust them." The whale spoke softly, and the three Feys were confused but quickly handed them over. "Ruri, you can teach them some more useful things. You have my authorization. Get ready, we’re heading out soon."
Ruri nodded and dragged everyone outside. Now that everyone was approved, Ruri began teaching them how to really fight and provided techniques. Nothing grand like a cultivation method, but incomplete Daos; something that, even in the divine world, would be considered a treasure. It wasn’t something to be their primary combat technique, but studying them would improve all their abilities. For them, it would be like completely changing their future.
Ruri lived in the city for a century, isolated in war. She didn’t have many options, so she thoroughly studied all the incomplete Daos left behind in an attempt to improve herself. Most were useless, but she remembered a large portion of them.
The whale spent a day working, and Ruri gave those three several incomplete Daos related to their abilities, focusing on speed, power, and blood use. The three Feys were stunned; Ruri seemed to have given them something simple and small, but they felt as if their entire understanding had changed after studying them briefly.
"Study the theory, and we’ll put it into practice quickly. Master called, let’s go." She lifted them up, and they returned to the cave.
Kisala’s dagger and Ambry’s axe had their immortal cores and metals reused and reforged; they were already good, but the previous blacksmith wasn’t as skilled. The dagger received a sharpening rune seal, while the axe got a repulsion seal. Idris’s weapon, a short spear, was of very low level, and it was completely remade after fusing other metals; a Yin enchantment seal was placed on it.
The three received their weapons, completely in shock. "Sir... this..." the three murmured, unable to formulate their thoughts properly.
"Let’s go, a few kilometers from here the jewels will be waiting for us," the whale said, moving forward without much care.
Ruri stepped up and quickly guided them, making it clear they couldn’t expose anything about the matter. Idris was a good and obedient boy from the start, so Ruri treated him gently, and he tried hard to meet her demands. But the two girls... they were problematic to work with.
They had to be deliberately put in constant danger; either they learned to trust each other or they would die. In the end, the first step was taken when they made a truce to survive.
Despite everything, the two were honest kids and quickly realized they were gaining a lot. Even without teaching them techniques, just with her battle guidance, everyone felt significant improvements. Ruri took care of the three attentively and became a master and almost a maternal figure... something the two didn’t even know what it really was.
They all followed the whale silently, but they looked at his back ahead and Ruri beside them, feeling comforted by being near them. The fights and worries stopped; they just needed to let themselves be guided and reciprocate.
Along the way, the three fought against a Hydra and a Drake; both were in the Spiritual Fusion Realm, a whole realm above them. But with their new weapons and Ruri’s guidance, the trio defeated them without suffering major injuries.
None of them believed it... if it were a little while ago, they would have run away as far as possible just by sensing these beasts. Now, they not only won but saw a path to go further and become stronger.
Half a day later, they arrived at a common area, just like any other in the forest. There was nothing special about it, and the trio was confused and curious. The whale moved calmly, then his eyes lit up.
The ground trembled slightly...
Then the three’s eyes widened... the ground... everything turned black... Yinblood jewels were sprouting from the earth like grains of sand. They were countless and seemed endless, continuing to sprout more and more.
It took several minutes until it all stopped. The whale pulled out half a dozen spatial rings and filled them to the brim. There must have been about fifty thousand jewels in each. But that was only a third; the rest went into the inventory.
Three rings floated, one towards each of them. "You have allies, right? Use this to help them, we’ll get more when it’s time for you to use them." The whale spoke calmly and handed the other three to Ruri.
With the amount of jewels in just one of the rings, that Drake would be ecstatic; with the three, he’d give up even his mother if Ruri wanted to buy.
The group returned silently to the base. They walked and reflected on the number of jewels he made sprout as if it was the simplest thing in the world. The three were simple kids who had seen very little of the world; the two had always been pressured and not even their parents were figures they could feel comfortable around.
But now... they didn’t need to think about anything, just live and learn calmly. If something happened, those two were there to hold up even the skies... it was a unique feeling they had never experienced before.
Now, officially, for these young Feys, the whale’s figure rose beyond abnormal and terrifying; he was something irrational and incomprehensible... a protective entity... maybe divine?
They all returned to the mountain base, the Feys split up to find their allies while Ruri contacted the Drake.
A quiet week passed until another group appeared. The ground trembled with their approach, then the whale saw Rehvka’s group. She walked lightly with a long spear on her back, on her shoulder, a purple cat looked at the whale cheerfully and victoriously.
Liumi brought almost fifty beasts with her. They were of various types and draconic races, all extremely injured and with a weak appearance. It wasn’t just their appearance; they were truly weak, their bloodline subtle and fragile.
’They were discarded by their races and sent to the forest to die. They lived hiding and avoiding contact with everything and everyone; if master takes care of them, they will repay with their lives. There must be ten times more in the same situation in the forest, I will find them.’ Liumi spoke mentally, proudly.
Alm and Bruno nodded. For the beasts, the purity of bloodline was everything. Among all the births, a large portion was simply discarded to die. After all, in this place, they still served to train the sect’s disciples. So, there were many for Liumi to find.
The whale used the power of faith and healed them all. Then, he distributed all the Yinblood jewels they had stored; they barely got them and already lost everything. But it was necessary, they had to establish trust first.

After absorbing an amount they never dreamed of having in their lives, their bloodline improved significantly. Now, the entire area around the mountain became the home of these beasts, creating an exclusive and protected territory for the whale and his group.
A few days later, Ruri returned with the information.
"The Drake said he only knows a bit from what he heard from the superiors before going to the forest. According to him, it’s a place discovered a few centuries ago that the beasts hid from the sect. In it, there seems to be a buried treasure... all the races feel a connection with the bloodline, but no one can take it out." Ruri shared the information that lacked details and explanations.
"But he said something else that he considered a legend. There’s a rumor that all the old ones who go to the place and don’t return, live forever. And to finish, he gave me the location." She concluded with eyes eager for adventure; this place was definitely dangerous and very well protected.
