Alm and Bruno wasted no time, still feeling a danger now distant, but still clear. They ran to the runes of the formation that Ruri had sealed and quickly activated their two tattoos to the limit.
Physically, the power of faith healed the three of them, but their QI and laws were completely depleted. Quickly, all the remaining energy from that formation that created the channel was sucked away. Everything was lost, and Alm and Bruno didn’t care to save it.
The two women witnessed that action and felt the urgency, unable to fully comprehend. They were literally at an astronomical distance. The whale wrapped everything up in a minute and then turned to them.
"Don’t be naive. This is the largest clan of demons in the universe. They have hundreds of cultivators at the peak of divine cultivation." Alm explained quickly. "Even before the Divine Sovereign Realm, all celestial laws can be used and felt. Countless demons will be able to perceive the flow of spatial laws up to the point where we connected. They can’t come to this planet because this place is special, but rebuilding the channel and making a sneak attack is possible."
The two trembled, imagining an attack using only laws from such a great distance. The power of divine cultivation was unbelievable.
The whale immediately transferred all the QI to Ruri. She activated her spatial laws to the limit. They had to get out of that place and stay away. The retaliatory attack would surely come, and this time the entire abyss would be seriously destroyed. Those demons could do that, and then use the excuse of not knowing what was on the other side; they just attacked to catch the enemy. But that would only happen once, then they would attack with everything.
Space warped around the three, and then they shot off at an extreme speed.
It took only three hours to reach the fifth layer of the abyss, the farthest distance ever traveled, but the QI ran out. At that moment, Ruri and Rehvka were pale. They felt a sense of death hanging over their heads. During those three hours, the whale and Rehvka used their tattoos to the limit to gather QI from the environment; it wasn’t much, but the two gave everything to Ruri.
Soon, she exploded again with all her might. They left that place now in clear desperation.
As they found themselves back in the desert, they saw the space at the entrance of that world completely crack. Everything inside collapsed, and the earth was turned inside out. That was just an attack using the laws... it was enough to collapse a completely closed world.
The whale snorted lightly and spoke. "They’re not crazy enough to destroy the seal. They only attacked using the minimum of power, with our cultivation, it was enough. We narrowly escaped, and they must think we’re dead. But they can’t investigate for a while."
Then he simply turned and walked towards the city calmly. In two hours, they returned when the day was ending. They returned after gathering resources, now they would only have about fifteen days for the formation that protected them to lose its strength.
As they entered, the abyss demon who was now a puppet, was thrown and pinned to a corner. Then Langrum was called. "Tell everyone to stop training and enjoy the night to rest. In the morning, they will advance and rebuild themselves, they must be in their best shape."
She nodded and left quickly. The training formation was left by Ruri for everyone to train during these days.
They moved towards the castle and, near the entrance, the whale turned to Rehvka. His arm moved, and a finger gently touched her forehead. She felt a lot of information emerging in her mind; in a few seconds, they spoke.
"I’ve given you all the knowledge of the infernal laws and the infernal rune that I possess. Reflect calmly on everything and incorporate it into your Dao. What you’ve developed has been accepted by the heavens. From now on, you’re undergoing the judgment of the celestial laws. If you pass, you will become a deity."
After they stopped speaking, Ruri jumped and Rehvka’s eyes sparkled. But she looked at the whale, full of anticipation. Alm and Bruno snorted heavily. Soon, the finger on her forehead withdrew, and he bowed.
Plop!
A flick hit her pale forehead, making a snap and leaving a red mark. Rehvka put her hand on her forehead, and her face twisted happily.
"Good job, don’t disappoint me," Alm said dryly, turning to Ruri without looking at Rehvka. She deserved praise and a bonus.
After standing in front of Ruri, their gazes met. His eyes scanned her attentively as his hand gently touched her head, focusing and seeking to analyze her soul and mind carefully.
After a few seconds, he spoke with a relieved sigh. "That demon didn’t have time to use your mind or soul to counterattack. Your mind is intact and will recover with rest."
Ruri smiled at him joyfully, and upon seeing this smile, the whale’s hand instinctively descended to her radiant face. They couldn’t understand why they did this; they just wanted to praise her, but something physically moved them. Ruri, in turn, moved her hand, gently touching his. A warmth spread through both of them, as if their auras were intertwining. Even their heartbeats seemed to subtly synchronize.
"I’m fine, master. Now that we’re together again, I’ll be increasingly useful. Count on me for everything," Ruri spoke softly, looking deeply into his eyes.

In both of their eyes, it seemed like they were the only thing that existed. Both felt the desire to physically draw closer, as if a magnetic attraction were pulling them. In his gaze, it was as if he was facing a sacred and untouchable lotus, and he couldn’t let any single scratch or harm come upon it.
It lasted only a moment; then, he blinked, clearly forcing himself to dispel whatever was inside him. "Get ready to rebuild tomorrow. Think about what you’re lacking; sometimes it’s not something useful for fighting, but something that will make you more comfortable." The whale spoke calmly, turned, waved to the two, and silently entered the castle.
Ruri felt a subtle ache, and a sigh escaped her lips. She experienced a burning desire, coming from the depths of her soul, to chase after him and get as close to him as possible. However, maturity made her realize that this wasn’t the right approach. Both of them should be comfortable and move forward together to the next step; forcing things would only push them apart.
Her eyes trembled. She could sense the conflict within her master, his wounds were deep. Although currently he seemed inclined towards her, there was fear in him... fear of the harm he could cause, fear of himself.
Rehvka watched the two in silence, stunned, and immediately her mind grasped something. Ruri, at 5’3", was slim and petite. Her master, on the other hand, stood at over 6’6" and seemed capable of growing even taller; besides being tall, he was massive and heavy.
The disparity between them was evident, and it clearly posed problems. It was like a relationship between a beast and a humanoid; the beast always had to shrink its body down, in the midst of a couple’s frenzy, it was better for both to be compatible to avoid accidents. But in this case, they were two humans.
As her mind wandered, she let slip a few words. "What a complication..."
Ruri heard this and turned to her with a doubtful expression. Rehvka realized what she had said and covered her mouth with her hand. However, upon seeing the pure and genuine expectation in her sister’s eyes, she decided to express what she really thought.
"Our master is the type who pays attention to details, and he really likes you. He wouldn’t bear to see you suffer in any way, whether mentally or physically. Your genetics didn’t favor you... I consider myself of average height when compared to other women. But you, my sister, are very small and delicate... Our master could never allow himself to be too rough, or you would feel great pain... If you understand me..."
Ruri heard this and immediately understood what she meant. She felt a pang in her chest; could the master really suppress what he felt for something like this? Even if not... he would certainly never fully relax... suddenly a lightning bolt passed through her mind and she remembered something recent, and the pieces fell into place. Suddenly, a radiant smile appeared on her face.
Observing Rehvka’s doubtful expression, Ruri calmly explained, "It’s not a problem anymore. My master personally reconstructed my body. I noticed that my hips got wider, and it seems that something internal became much longer and more flexible... now I understand why he did that." Ruri placed her hand on her waist, beaming. "I’ve seen that in him several times... now I’m small and cute the way he likes on the outside. But internally, he shaped me to be much more than I appear. I’ve become the perfect fit for him; my master accepted me and turned me into his woman without me even realizing."
Rehvka heard this and nearly jumped in surprise. He took this initiative silently and resolved this. If it were with her, he would love to have a lot of pain involved; but he couldn’t bear that with Ruri.
Ruri seemed to radiate her own light she was so excited about this conclusion. She then began to murmur thoughtfully about her next reconstructions.
"My master has already made me physically so perfect that I’m not sure... yes!" Ruri exclaimed, placing her hand on her stomach. "Now I need to change this a bit... I have to be more flexible and strong here! If a mountain falls on me, I should come out unscathed!"
Rehvka sighed. It was evident that the master was thinking about Ruri, and she, in turn, was thinking about him. They had a deep connection, but mentally he wasn’t ready to go deeper yet. The trauma with his ex-wife was a significant obstacle, and he hesitated to move forward with Ruri because of it.
"Well, Thea and I can help you improve in these aspects," Rehvka said softly. "He has already accepted you, as evidenced by what he did for you. The challenge now is more mental... but know that you’re not alone. If it’s important to the master, I’ll be by your side to support you."
