As the first rays of daylight emerged, the whale summoned Langrum and Loeus. Both were responsible for leading the desert city in their absence, but the whale called them for a specific reason: they were skilled users of Yin and Yang tattoos. Loeus, for having created a body of pure Yang, and Langrum, due to her multiple lineages, faced challenges with the excess of Yin in her body.

Loeus entered the castle slowly, supporting Langrum, who seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed the party from the previous night. The whale observed the couple; Loeus was notably calm, serious, and centered, while Langrum was more intense, explosive, and acted according to how she felt.

’Aren’t they exactly the opposite of the Yin and Yang power each one uses?’ Bruno pondered, uncertainly.

Alm analyzed calmly. ’Perhaps, due to their physical condition, their minds seek balance, behaving oppositely. Life needs both poles, and instinctively they seek harmony...’

After Alm’s words, the two became briefly pensive. Harmony was precisely the focus of the fourth level of the Supreme Yin and Yang Collector Cultivation Technique. Since they were split, they always represented the purest poles of Yin and Yang, and always felt complete in their oppositions. Although, in theory, they knew these two poles were one thing, seeing it happen in practice was a different experience.

These thoughts were interrupted when the couple stopped in front of the whale. They spoke calmly: "From today, gather all the warriors and the eight factions. In less than a month, we will begin the total counterattack. We will avenge all the fallen over the years."

The two clenched their fists and looked at the whale, excited, as it was everything they and everyone in the city desired.

"First, the cultivation of all of you has become very weak currently. You have nearly a million people. Two-thirds are at the end of the Elemental Condensation Realm, but they cultivated crudely just to survive and be able to fight. The rest are at the elemental level of the Body Destruction Realm, but everyone forced themselves to get there, rebuilding the body without resources, inadequately."

The whale spoke slowly, taking a sigh before continuing. "Your battle power is considered abnormal. However, everyone is at a point where they will hardly be able to advance further in cultivation. To defeat the twelve families, even with your experience, the difference in cultivation puts you at a disadvantage."

Langrum and Loeus nodded, lowering their gazes. Indeed, when the war began, they used the training formation together with the tattoos of the two to help everyone progress as quickly as possible. Even the wind and water runes they brought from the abyss were burned to increase the Qi; only the fire and spatial runes could not be used, as Ruri and Almin had already completely fused them into their bodies.

They didn’t worry about anything else but raising their power. As for the reconstruction, it was done quickly and simply. This method was only possible thanks to the tattoos; it saved everyone, but the consequences were clear.

"That being said, you two are crucial to changing this." The whale nodded, and two rings flew in front of them. "Almin is currently working on creating high-level pills to purify everyone’s bodies. Physically, with the pills, cultivation will stabilize, but mentally they will need to slowly comprehend their realms. For those in the Elemental Condensation, you will remove all their Qi with your tattoos; then send them to the training formation. This way, they will only fight against beasts and have the path of either dying or instinctively learning about their realm and body."

"As for those in the Body Destruction, including both of you, gather everyone, remove all the Qi, and use all the electric laws I placed in these rings. They are the purest law from the heavens. This will physically destroy you... slowly... and in the most painful way possible. So you will feel every inch being lost and better understand your bodies and how to improve them. Or die. Let’s see which comes first."

The two nodded extremely confidently. If the whale gave them this, it was because they could do it. They just needed enough willpower. Now that he was back, they were just counting the days eagerly to be able to repay all the suffering they had gone through over the years.

As soon as the two left, Vuard arrived at the castle. His expression was a bit worn out; the night had been quite exhausting for him. Perhaps Almin had exaggerated the power of the pills. But the dwarf immediately perked up when instructed by the whale to make weapons using everything from the warehouse. He also received the second level of the forge god’s dao.

Now everyone would be armed, and their cultivations fixed. Those at the elementary level of the Body Destruction Realm could still be saved, as well as Ruri. They still had nine more reconstructions; they just needed to stack more resources and do a perfect job to make up for the initial mistakes.

’With this, we will indirectly elevate our power through them. Now, they lack the resources to break through levels. If everyone can reach the Body Destruction, and those who are already there rebuild themselves twice as much to fix themselves, any cultivator from the families who isn’t in divine cultivation will be an ant before them,’ Bruno concluded mentally.

The cultivators from the families were like flowers in greenhouses; they were easily nurtured and protected. Meanwhile, all the warriors of the city had gone through daily hell and, without resources, survived and thrived. As they reflected on this, two figures emerged beside them softly.

His two disciples were already prepared for a raid alongside him. They now had to seek these resources for everyone. Rehvka looked at the whale and showed her new dagger, saying:

"Vuard managed to put this ’sharpening’ seal, master. But, Ruri has a weapon made by you. There’s clear favoritism there." She finished looking at him discontented with the injustice.

Ruri smiled slightly and puffed her chest in victory. The whale just sighed and replied:

"I taught her everything she knows, and I know her talents. That’s why it’s easy to create something that complements her power. But you and I, we’ve only fought together once. Once I have a better understanding of your capabilities, you’ll receive the same treatment."

Rehvka nodded, satisfied, while Ruri remained silent, slightly dissatisfied. Alm and Bruno were pleased that she didn’t mention the other things he did for her, like clothes and even meticulously rebuilding her body... maybe even too much. She knew that bringing it up wouldn’t help; it would be something just between them.

Although Ruri had grown up, she was naturally jealous and competitive; it had nothing to do with age. Now, at least, she didn’t act aggressively or distortedly. She knew the limit of where she could go and had total respect, even admiration, for Rehvka.

Thea was still in the reconstruction process. She could already work on her body alone, but the materials and technologies in this universe were quite different. Thea was focused on adapting her knowledge, and with the help of the dwarves, she could soon contribute. Meanwhile, Almin was busy working on the pills; after that, he and Corin would join the others to fix their cultivations.

Thus, the whale moved with the two leaving the city and heading towards the desert. Currently, everything in the desert had completely changed. There was no longer that earth energy, sandstorms, or anything resembling the old desert.

With all the Qi sealed for a century and high-level battles happening non-stop everywhere, everything here had transformed. It now looked like a death field, dry and covered with black sand and bones.

As the whale partially controlled the formation, Ruri, after reflecting a bit with the God of Formation Dao, helped him with the Qi that was returning to the place. Now, all elements and a more balanced energy were circulating within. This not only aided in everyone’s cultivation but also meant that in the future, this region would no longer be known as a desert. Vegetation should slowly grow. Of course, this was if they survived and if the formation was maintained.

The trio arrived in a few minutes at a more central region of the "desert." There, nothing caught the eye, or any different fluctuations. But Ruri and the whale knew that place well; it was the old entrance to the world of evil cultivators.

Two tattoos lit up on the whale’s wrists, and the entire formation of the place seemed to vibrate briefly. At that moment, a spatial rift slowly appeared before them. Ruri’s eyes gleamed, and she made a smooth gesture.

Rehvka watched in admiration as Ruri manipulated space. Then, Ruri nodded, and strange runes appeared. There were only four, but they pulsated with multicolored power. They were precisely the Seven-Color Supreme Runes, the foundation of the entire God of Formation Dao.

Ruri had talked about them before, but now, seeing them in person and feeling their power in action, Alm and Bruno were convinced. The God of Formation used the power of Chromaraic as inspiration... or maybe he had known or been one of them, it was impossible to know. But the connection was clear.

The formation that sealed the desert isolated and closed the entrance to that place. The whale simply forced the reopening, and now Ruri used these runes to completely control the entrance.

Alm and Bruno felt proud; Ruri was now very proficient with this Dao. Lower-level formations were easily mastered by her. But if given resources and a clear goal, she could create unique and incredible formations. The problem was that creating formations was the same as burning resources... something they were always desperate to find.

In seconds, everything stabilized. Then, Ruri turned around smiling and held the whale’s hand, while Rehvka did the same from the other side. Then, the two focused, and their powers merged. Their use of the array was very beneficial and revealing. Now, Alm and Bruno learned that it was much easier to connect members in many ways. This could be studied better in the future.

"We’re going back," Ruri said softly.

Now, completely hidden in a way that not even someone much more powerful than them could detect, they took steps and crossed the area.
