"Brother Ximo, good to see you," said Zaimo softly, all the sinister aura surrounding him evaporating as if it had never existed.

Alm spoke dryly. "Lucky bastard. The first clan to come was precisely the dwarves’."

As they traveled, Alm and Bruno asked about the dwarf’s life, just to try to bridge the gap between them. Ximo was Zaimo’s brother and currently led the clan. They always got along very well.

Zaimo received the same treatment and resources as his brother, but only managed to reach the first level of the Body Destruction Realm, and his level of power and competence in all areas was well below average. This generated anger among the clan members, who saw Zaimo as a waste of resources, especially because his brother, the clan leader, favored him. Ximo’s leadership was being severely affected; of his own accord, Zaimo volunteered to take care of an inland city to stop further harming his brother.

"Zaimo, what happened?" Ximo approached, and all the clan dwarves put away their weapons, a little relieved.

The news that Zaimo sent to the emperor had already reached the other two clans, but the dwarves’ clan had so little influence that they knew nothing. The invasion of the inland city and the destruction were recounted. Ximo was extremely stunned to hear his brother say he got lucky and managed to turn the tide somehow, without going into many details.

"That idiot dared to call someone from my clan a traitor! I will demand punishment," said Ximo, but his brother’s look became strange.

"It’s not necessary, he’s already been punished," Zaimo replied, leaving Ximo confused for a moment.

As they talked, an elder from the divine beasts appeared in the sky. "Ximo, are you colluding with a traitor?! You have betrayed the entire sacred empire! Do you have anything to say?"

Meanwhile, numerous experts surrounded them. The dwarves clenched their fists in fury, feeling intimidated, but by order of the clan leader, they couldn’t retaliate in any way. Now, they simply watched coldly, not daring to say anything.

"Who are you calling a traitor? Do you have any evidence?" asked Ximo, trying to keep calm.

"He killed numerous humans and invaded the city amidst innocent bloodshed. Since you seem to want to protect this traitor, there’s nothing more to say! Capture him! Anyone who dares to resist will be executed!" shouted the human-shaped divine beast.

Suddenly, Zaimo’s eyes changed again, and Ximo felt a shiver run down his spine. "Anyone who dares to move won’t see the sun tomorrow. No matter how many people come, I will kill," said the dwarf slowly, crossing his hands behind his back. He cast an indifferent glance at the cultivators, his tattoos glowing intensely on his hands and the kitchen knife ready at his waist.

"Big words! Then show me why you dare to be so arrogant."

The voice echoed from afar. A new group of human elders emerged, each emanating a powerful aura. All of them were in the final stage of Body Destruction. Their leader cast a cold glance towards the dwarf.

Ximo and the others were alarmed. This elder was the vice-leader of the human clan.

"Dwarf, were you the one speaking just now?"

The human approached Zaimo with a group of cultivators far above his level, looking him up and down.

SLAP!

Zaimo slapped the vice-leader straight in the face. "Go ahead! Who do you think you’re talking to?"

Alm spoke, and Bruno sighed mentally. Alm was completely out of control... well, Bruno didn’t care.

The slap was clean, and his movements were absolutely perfect. His speed didn’t seem fast, but it still flowed naturally in an effortless motion.

That simple slap was something the human couldn’t avoid. He just stood there as the hand struck his face, sending him flying and spitting blood uncontrollably. After the slap, people still couldn’t believe what they had seen. At that moment, space seemed to freeze. Everyone remained in a deadly silence.

It wasn’t the Non-Lethal Strike Technique, Beyond Divine Level. They simply used their physical body. All the cultivators of the imperial city had unstable cultivation, and their strengths mainly came from technological devices. They didn’t even bother to study laws or Qi properly. They simply gathered materials with their own elemental laws and used them in armor, weapons, arrows, and the like.

They were in the final stage of the Body Destruction Realm. But Alm and Bruno had never seen so many stupidly weak people gathered, with cultivation as unstable as theirs. It seemed like everyone forced themselves to advance just to gain status and because of the war. They were very, very below average in power for their cultivation.

"You little bastard!"

The vice-leader of the human clan had blood dripping from his mouth, his appearance and face were a mess. After being supported by others, he became absolutely furious. In all his life, no one had ever treated him like this.

SLAP!

In response to his curse, a hand accompanied by a whistling wind once again struck his face, this time on the other cheek.

BOOM!

The astral winds directly swept the other elders away this time. They fell backward, all coughing up blood. They were so weak it was ridiculous. Within the same realm, at most, they possessed 30% of the power of the cultivators from the queen’s world, or maybe even less. In other words, if Alm and Bruno had shown no mercy, their slap could have been fatal for this old man.

"Hahahaha!" Alm laughed villainously, releasing his pent-up frustrations.

"Kill him!"

That elder roared furiously. Half of his face was already caved in, and his head was strangely lolling. That slap nearly crushed his skull. Feeling shocked and enraged, he drew all his weapons for a full-on fight.

The other elders also summoned their armor and weapons. As soon as they had the support of their equipment, their auras instantly grew several times over. The intent to kill filled the air.

Though weak, using their technology, they weren’t exactly easy to deal with. But to be effective, they would have to be prepared and have sharp instincts to sense danger. Something they were far from having.

Seeing this scene, Ximo was struck with fear. He never expected Zaimo to be so tyrannical, daring even to strike that human. Seeing everyone advancing so fiercely, he truly had no idea what to do. Theoretically, as members of the empire, they had to stand by them. But making them enemies was impossible.

"Those who want to die, come forward." The dwarf snorted and slowly reached for the kitchen knife at his waist. His strong killing intent surged.

The elders completely ignored the warning and charged directly towards him. Alm then smiled internally. A smooth movement was seen by everyone.

BOOM!

The kitchen knife cut through a metal armor before everyone’s eyes, followed immediately by an explosion and a mist of blood. With one strike, he destroyed several meticulously crafted runes. The dwarf then leaped into the air, ready to attack another nearby target.

"Stop!"

A deep voice resonated, interrupting him mid-motion. Instantly, the real Zaimo was startled and intervened, forcing Alm to cease his actions.

Internally, Alm cursed but yielded control of the body to Zaimo. The dwarf then turned slowly, speaking calmly. "Greetings, Emperor."

It was a dwarf with completely white hair and beard, whose gaze was piercing and aged. He nodded slightly, assessing Zaimo. "I received your message. It’s great that you managed to save so many."

Zaimo bowed slightly, and the emperor continued. "It seems there have been some misunderstandings here. But first, I need to receive detailed reports of what happened. The war and more importantly, we’ll resolve these issues later. Come." He gestured for the dwarf to accompany him.

The elders looked dryly at the emperor, but they had no way to contradict him. Once the reports were finished, they would address their issues. Soon, Zaimo just nodded lightly to his brother. Alm and Bruno felt Ximo could be useful.

’Bring him,’ the voice sounded in Zaimo’s mind.

The dwarf nodded and waved, calling his brother to follow. Soon, they walked slowly towards a transport platform on the ground. The emperor just waved, and a light swiftly enveloped them. All present saw them disappear with stunned and angry eyes.
