A silence fell over the entire World of Death in the face of the fine rain of blood falling. The elder, a spectator to it all, was the most stunned, his mind blank, unable to process the magnitude of the disaster that it represented.

Ruri slumped to the ground in the center of the four factions, causing Sunli’s entire formation to collapse, leaving her faction in a complete state of shock. Breathing irregularly, she slowly returned her katana to its sheath without expressing any emotion. At that moment, a wave of black mist covered the skies.

"HOW DARE YOU!"

High above, Xylos Noctryn roared, his eyes completely black. Immediately, the test, along with all the factions, came to a halt; the world seemed to have turned upside down.

"She is weak! KILL HER!" The dark elf exploded with all his power, and his faction, along with everyone from Sunli’s faction, brandished their weapons and advanced towards a lone cultivator.

Ruri smirked maliciously; a few dozen meters away, the disciples of the three factions watched everything, frightened. Quickly, they turned, preparing for a deadly fight without hesitation. However, upon facing Loeus and Corin, indifferent, they turned back to the young woman who seemed exhausted, worried... But it didn’t take two seconds for the entire world to witness a transformation.

The arid and gloomy land was suddenly covered and replaced. A vibrant violet world took the place of everything, and everyone felt their bodies and souls vibrate instantly.

Whether the elder, the disciples, or the demonic beasts, everything stopped. All turned their gaze to a young woman floating gently in the air like a fairy. Around her, an eight-petaled lotus, dense and tangible, rotated delicately.

Within that lotus, Ruri clasped her hands together, and a new, smaller lotus emerged. The giant lotus represented the complete first level of mental cultivation, while the smaller one was the first stage of the second level of mental cultivation. The second level consisted of three stages, each with three mantras; Ruri had only completed the first stage, but her power was a dozen times greater and more devastating.

"Trying to kill me all by yourself?" Ruri spoke softly, her voice echoing as the only audible thing in that World of Death. "Don’t worry, I’ll send you to her side. A bitch shouldn’t be lonely, or she’ll cause trouble."

Ruri slowly opened her arms, and the small lotus dispersed into particles that spread in all directions. It was like violet magical dust, spreading... and immediately, all the disciples from the two factions who attempted to attack lost control of their bodies. Infinite violet runes enveloped them, leaving their eyes vacant.

Ruri made a motion for another move but stopped abruptly. ’Oops, almost disappointed master. The lives of these disciples are worth much more than those two trash.’ She thought and sighed.

Then, with another gesture, the violet power left their bodies, and all the disciples simply fell unconscious...

But then, she smiled cheerfully. The mental runes covered all living demonic beasts throughout the world of death. Then she unsheathed her katana again with a crisp sound. She looked at Xylos, completely subdued and unable to even breathe, and the glow of the shadow space enveloped her.

Slash!

The sound of a sharp and ruthless cut echoed, splitting the defenseless dark elf. Then, the violet power exploded, destroying from the inside out all the remaining demonic beasts. In just one minute, Ruri eliminated two geniuses from the second and third major clans of the sect. And not satisfied, she wiped out all the other demonic beasts.

The world darkened again... and this time, Corin jumped forward to support Ruri, who landed on the ground staggering. She had completely used up all her reserves.

The voice of the whale sounded softly in Ruri’s mind, making her eyes gleam. ’Good job. Now, just observe.’ The whale obviously wasn’t in the test since he wasn’t part of any of the three factions. He was a forger of the Forger Institute, after all. He only observed everything through his connection with Ruri using the array.

Corin helped Ruri return to her faction calmly, while all the disciples watched them with wide eyes. The level of power demonstrated was indescribable. If she had used that from the beginning, would she have wiped out all the beasts in a minute? Everyone pondered with trembling eyes.

There were no more enemies; however, it took almost two minutes for the elder to regain consciousness from his stupor. He then appeared in the world of death with a pale face... What did this girl do? She brought disaster upon herself.

He looked at the stone with the final scoreboard. In first place, Death Horn. In second, Obsydan, Thalor Obsidian’s clan. In third, the orc faction, Orcish Horde. In fourth, Snow Veil of the Fey. In fifth and sixth, Life Horn and Earthbound Horn, respectively. The elder observed the scoreboard seriously; the leaders of the Nightflare and Noctryn clans were not present... they really died, and the factions were disqualified.

The elder landed near them, sweating profusely as he looked at everyone; how the hell would he explain this to the higher-ups? But... he quickly felt something and looked up. He wouldn’t need to explain.

CRACK!!!

The skies and space trembled, making all the disciples look up, holding their breath. In a few seconds, everything above was covered by cultivators – humans and dark elves, all with red eyes and furious expressions.

It was a massive army, with their cultivations pushed to the limit. Formed by all the inner elders of the two clans, all were between the eighth and ninth levels of the Heaven Stage Realm. In the center of them, two figures stood out: a human man and a dark elf woman, both at the eighth level of the Elemental Condensation Realm.

"WHO KILLED MY DAUGHTER!" The human roared, looking at the elder of the test.

The elder stood paralyzed, completely suppressed. He was a low-ranking inner elder, doing tasks for the sect in exchange for resources. In less than a second, a cold aura enveloped him, making his meridians throb in pain. He saw the dark elf woman focusing her aura on him.

"My son was killed, tell me who did it. I want to make sure to make them wish for death and never attain it." She spoke dryly, with a deadly aura.

The elder was completely taken aback. However, from behind him, the answer came.

A young man, with an unwavering look radiating seriousness, spoke calmly. "We, the Primal Beast Legion, took care of the sect’s enemies."

Loeus stepped forward, unfazed by the stares, and faced everyone. "This was an extremely important mission for the sect, considered high-level. According to the rules, anyone attempting to hinder the mission’s fulfillment is considered an enemy of the sect. The responsible elder witnessed everything: first, Sunli sneakily attacked our faction; after the danger was eliminated, the dark elf attacked, hindering the mission’s fulfillment. Everything was done perfectly according to the rules."

A tense silence followed, broken by a dry and macabre laugh, followed by echoing words. "You dared to kill my daughter! I will ensure that all of you are exterminated, and then I will go after your families, eradicating everything related to you!"

"Sir!" The elder spoke sharply. "I attest to the truth of the facts, and there is a record of the wristbands. They record all their movements, and in them, we can prove the events. Sunli did act against the rules, and then..."

"Rules?!" He was interrupted by the voice of the dark elf woman. "I don’t care about the rules. Young Thalor!" She said dryly, turning her gaze to the disciple of the number one clan, unable to disrespect the Obsidian clan. "You must understand our hatred. We will clarify everything with the sect and pay for breaking the rules. But now we need to seek revenge."

Thalor heard that and looked up, serious. Then, he turned to Ruri, Corin, and Loeus. They exchanged glances, conveying a clear message: he didn’t need to intervene. Thalor sighed; if that girl held such overwhelming power while still in the Core Formation Realm... then these two... He reflected, and then nodded to the elder dark elf above.

The orc and the fey had no status to speak of; Lokar was just clenching his fists so tightly that blood was dripping. Fyclea had tears that looked like ice crystals covering her eyes. If they said anything, it would implicate their clans.

The dark elf woman, in turn, bowed politely to Thalor and made a gesture. Immediately, all three factions - Obsydan, Orcish Horde, and Snow Veil - were transported out of that place.

In the next second, everyone felt the piercing gazes coming from above. The elder in charge of the test paled, having certainty. ’I... will be silenced.’ He thought dazed.

"A bitch mother and a stupid father. No wonder both turned into that." A voice full of disdain sounded, and the two looked at the young woman, who had a smile on her face.

They snorted dryly and recognized that young woman. "Finish them all, and capture those three." The man spoke coldly. Soon after, all the elders drew their weapons without hesitation, bringing an intense aura of death.

The disciples of the three factions took a deep breath. Their bodies trembled, and the death sensation was so thick over their heads that it was palpable. But... they forcibly pulled out their weapons, and their eyes gleamed coldly; they would not retreat. Ruri, Corin, and Loeus looked at them, satisfied; they had finally built a will to fight even against the heavens if necessary.

The dark elves and humans descended, surrounding everyone. The order was to attack, but everyone looked at Corin and Loeus, both with their hands behind their backs, and paused for a few seconds. Their experience warned them of something wrong. But what could be wrong with these seemingly weak disciples?

"The girl has two wyverns, just focus on the others, we’ll take care of them." The woman shouted, waking everyone up.

Then, the dark elves leaped, being the first to attack. The woman drew a black saber and watched the girl attentively. In that second, Ruri was just looking at the sabers, swords, and spears of the dark elves. Then, she began to smile, trying with all her might to control herself from bursting into laughter. Then, she took a trembling step forward with her hand on her belly.

"Master is truly amazing and thinks of everything, almost as if he reads the future." She murmured, and her eyes gleamed.

AAAAAAAH!

Immediately, cries of pain and agony reverberated. The humans paused in the air and turned to the dark elves; soon, terror struck them. Their weapons... began to transform into black tentacles, merging with their bodies!

All the dark elves were wielding well-known weapons. Alm and Bruno forged them a long time ago and sold all of them to evil cultivators. After entering the sect and observing the dark elves, they noticed something. These elves had a very intense Yin Qi, and their auras... were similar to those of evil cultivators on a smaller scale.

After studying the Noctryn clan more thoroughly, the pieces fell into place. This clan of dark elves was known to be stealthy assassins, capable of infiltrating and easily gathering information from any place. All hidden knowledge was in the possession of this clan, and they built their source of income with it. Why would they be interested in destroying evil cultivators? They were certainly closely connected covertly.

Soon, remembering the information about the planet they bought from that old elder in the city of evil cultivators. The hint was given at that time. Both evil cultivators had infiltrators in the sect, and common cultivators had connections in that place. (Chapters 178/179)

The weapons that the whale made for the evil cultivators soon came into the knowledge of the dark elves. Coming from the rich and resourceful sect, they obviously bought everything they could. And now that the house and clans of the evil cultivators were destroyed, everyone who fled would exchange everything they had for resources. The external elders were worthless, but Alm and Bruno were sure. The internal and central ones, almost all of them should have these weapons.

A violet line covered the gaze of all the dark elves, and amid the cries of agony, their weapons invaded their bodies grotesquely, merging with them. Right after, the mental power invaded, symbiotically with the weapon.

Alm and Bruno, as soon as they decided to forge and sell these weapons in the past, created this method along with Ruri. All weapons had the seal of ’Thorns.’ And they sealed Ruri’s mental power inside the runic seal. Of course, at that time, it was just an idea in case they fell into danger against the evil cultivators; being attacked by their own weapon would be very humiliating. But, they destroyed the evil cultivators without needing to use it. And coincidentally, now it proved useful. Ruri could swear that this was planned for a long time. (Chapter 101)

It took less than three seconds for all the dark elves to be completely invaded by the weapon’s seal and the hidden gift. That rune had Ruri’s power, and she didn’t even need to use her Qi. With just a thought, the seal was activated...

Boom!

The dark elves were covered in red fireworks. All the elders of the dark elves exploded with their black blood full of violet runes. But there was a single survivor. The dark elf woman still fought against her weapon, penetrating her body.

"KILL THAT HUMAN QUICK!!" The dark elf roared at the stunned humans just watching.

The human leader nodded; he clearly realized that Ruri had activated something and was connected to it. If he killed her, he would have a chance to save the dark elf. Soon, he roared for everyone to attack with everything.

But...

The world immediately transformed, and everything was illuminated by countless vibrant colors. The humans looked to the horizon and then saw an elf floating slowly with closed eyes as if meditating.

Then, he opened his eyes, and a giant ring like a rainbow eclipsed the world. His long hair danced in the wind, and the color changed, his strands of hair had different and vibrant colors.

Corin looked indifferent at the humans. All the laws and bloodlines of everyone there pulsed violently. Is this a bloodline suppression? All the humans thought, stunned; they had never felt this in their lives.

The rainbow ring spun... then the ’elf’ opened his arms. Runes of the five natural elements covered the world in harmony.

"Primordial Prison!!"

The laws of the world were violently drawn, and then the humans were covered by countless runes shaped like chains. It was something very similar to the Cerberus Chains, an idea that Corin had later when, out of curiosity, he asked them about it in the desert city. He could still only use the basic five elements, and he hadn’t studied Yin and Yang much. But his maximum power could hold anything for five seconds... and it was more than enough.

A white pillar emerged in the center of the humans. Suddenly, a heat that seemed capable of melting absolutely everything surged in the world.

At the base of the pillar, a young man opened his eyes, and then his pupils changed to something resembling snake eyes. Following that, around him, dozens of small runes that looked like eyes similar to his appeared.

Loeus, for the first time in his life, felt the power of his bloodline being ignited. After many hints from the whale, self-effort, and elevated cultivation, his thin bloodline became slightly denser, and he could burn it for a short period.

"Extreme Yangta Immortal."

He spoke slowly, withdrawing his sword, completely focused. The entire white pillar receded into his body, and his sword ignited.

Slash!

This was extreme Yang fire; it could transform into different forms to attack enemies and reduce them to ashes. And Loeus developed a technique that concentrated everything into one slash.

So, all the humans and the elder leader who were trapped by Corin... and even the dark elf who was fighting against her own weapon... vanished forever, transformed into black and burnt dust.
