BOOM!
The majestic gates of the Venomous Demon Clan were destroyed, creating a cloud of dust and destruction and deeply shaking all the demons who peacefully lived within.
Not even two seconds passed before the skies filled with powerful cultivations, and a wave of furious QI swept away the entire dust cloud.
Then, the whale’s eyes met with a demon who observed everyone intently. His stature was similar to that of a human, but his eyes were green, and his entire being exuded a poisonous aura that made the skin tingle just being close.
"You... seem to have survived and escaped. Now you’ve come to surrender to us? Great, great." That demon, who was the clan leader, spoke with a dark smile.
"The Soul Eater Clan challenges your clan to a battle for hegemony! Choose what kind of fight you want!" Calirer declared imperiously, taking a step forward.
Behind the leader, there were hundreds of demons, and in a few seconds, thousands joined him with looks of a mixture of ridicule and strangeness. They observed the half-demons; their leader had a cultivation equal to that of their advisers. Next to her, there were twelve of them at the first level of the Elemental Condensation Realm, they must be the advisers. But in the background, there were thousands who were at most at the end of the Heaven Stage Realm. Even the weakest demon of the Venomous Demon Clan was stronger than most of them. Were they insane?
"My adviser was right; you’ve had some stroke of luck, and now you think you’re invincible. Legitimate frogs at the bottom of the well." The leader of the demons spoke and laughed uncontrollably, then continued. "You can choose whatever you want, don’t even dream of going back alive today."
Calirer nodded, but in her mind, she sighed; this demon couldn’t be more correct about one thing. They had infinite luck to have established a relationship with this round and abnormal being... after a second, Calirer clenched her fists and spoke.
"Great, we’re going for a full-on fight! Summon everyone from your clan!" She roared with her QI for the whole clan to hear.
Laughter echoed everywhere within the clan. In two minutes, a gigantic mass with thousands of demons leaped into the sky, and their green auras merged, creating a dense poisonous pressure.
The leader of the Venomous Demon Clan just put his hands on his back and spoke lightly. "Come, we’ll give you a chance to attack once."
Calirer snorted and, drawing a bone saber, pointed it forward, shouting. "MANIFEST YOUR INNER SELVES, SOUL EATERS!"
A great battle roar echoed behind her, and everyone in front laughed even more, but in less than a second, their eyes petrified. An oppressive feeling, coming from death, fell upon their heads.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
The space began to distort, creating intense phenomena, shocking all the demons.
ROAAAAAR!
Then, thousands of black shadows rose with powerful roars. Some were ten, others twenty meters; then, in a second, their forms condensed — they were demonic beasts!
"That... these are illusions..." A demon murmured bewildered, and the ground trembled violently. The ’illusions’ advanced forward like a bestial avalanche.
The demon leader trembled, feeling pressure on his soul; it was physical and had real power, but at the same time, it had an aura that disturbed the souls of enemies. If these creatures fought someone at the same level, they would have an advantage, but... he felt clearly that those shadows were not as powerful.
"Don’t retreat! Attack!" He roared, and everyone took a step forward, completely forgetting what they had said before. Then, the wave of bestial shadows clashed.
BOOM!
A violent shock followed, making the entire land of the clans tremble. The demon leader saw all the shadows explode rapidly, almost in synchrony. They had attack power but no defenses... it was only in that second that he felt something strange...
’My body...’
All the manifestations were made of soul power as a base, and the whale’s new technique was based on another technique from demonic beasts in another universe. When he learned the technique while still in the body of a cerberus, the demonic beast in the form of a heron spoke its name: ’Beastly Soul Venom, corroding life.’
"ATTACK!!!" Calirer shouted, followed by bloodthirsty war cries from thousands of eager half-demons.
The clan leader was stunned but thought quickly. ’I’ll recover in two seconds, with my cultivation, they won’t be able to kill me, but we’ll lose many demons...’ he lamented.
Then, in the same second, he felt the air from his lungs empty, and the premonition of the cold blade of death cutting his throat. He only had time to look up. Soon, he saw the space shatter before a colossal bone club falling, a round figure smiling maliciously.
BOOM!
The earth cracked, and a gigantic fissure appeared within the once vibrant and perfect clan. As for the leader? Almost nothing remained.
In less than five minutes, half of the demons died, and when the most powerful finally gained freedom of their bodies, black blades cut through space using dozens of Manifestations of Will at the same time.
Within ten minutes, two-thirds of the demons were gone, and the most powerful among them no longer existed. Then, Calirer gave the order suddenly, and all the half-demons sheathed their blood-drenched weapons.
"Retrieve your demon diagrams and get out of here." Calirer shouted to the trembling survivors of Venomous Demon. "If you’re afraid, the third level of the abyss is empty now, and it’s a safe haven. GO!"
They all jumped, spitting out black blood. In ten minutes, that glorious clan had fallen to the lowest tier of demons? Their minds couldn’t believe it.
But soon, a group of survivors rushed to the far reaches of the clan, followed by several powerful half-demons. Then, they opened the formation and took the last symbols that defined them as a clan—their diagram and their defining technique. Finally, they quickly fled with all the survivors.

In a few minutes, everyone was far away. Following that, sounds of falling to the ground sounded in synchrony. Calirer looked around and saw a hundred other half-demons who were half-human like her; they were the only ones who couldn’t use this manifestation alone and remained awake.
All the others used the Inner Manifestation along with their beast bloodlines. Who would have thought that being half-beast, which was once a source of shame and humiliation, would now bring such great advantage and power to everyone.
"As expected. After using the manifestation, all their soul power is consumed; your souls are still very weak. I’ll have to fix that." The whale spoke, taking steps and entering the clan. "As for you half-humans... maybe joining with a wyvern isn’t a bad option. It will benefit both clans... but that’s just a suggestion."
All the half-humans looked at the divine being and nodded; they saw the difference it made when their leader, Calirer, used the manifestation alongside Runula. Soon, they thought about it quickly. Now, the two clans are brothers and followers of the same divine being... the half-wyverns could also change shape into something close and pleasing to them...
Bruno spoke that just thinking aloud, but he didn’t imagine they would actually do it. In the future, he would find out that, because of his casual words, practically all the singles from both clans would unite, even those who had no human blood.
The whale waved to Calirer and her group, who fought alongside everyone else as members of the clan they were. Everyone headed towards the central building of their new home. Then, Ruri fell from the sky, and the whale gently caught her, placing her on his shoulder. Ruri simply observed everything from above, flying joyfully on Deryu’s back.
Inside the main building, Calirer removed the leader’s emblem that belonged to the deceased former owner of the place. She now controlled all the formations in this place; there were no demons familiar with formations, and all the ones that existed in all clans were the same. They were provided by the demon emperor. You just needed to take the leader’s emblem, and the rest was the same for everyone.
Upon reaching the main hall, the whale turned to Calirer and waved, tossing a spatial ring. When she hesitantly took it, they said, "Inside, there’s all the remaining demon blood you absorbed before. Absorb it in this month."
Calirer trembled, and Alm would have spat blood if he could. All the valuable demon blood they obtained on the last level of the prison was handed over to others, and they gained nothing from it. A third remained in the desert city for the women and people to have what they needed for cultivation; another part was given to Calirer in prison, and now the rest was given to her again.
Bruno also lamented, but the two agreed to it. Then, another ring was tossed, and Calirer grabbed it with trembling hands.
"This is the blood of a pure demon. It had a divine cultivation far beyond your imagination. When everyone in your clan awakens, distribute it equally among them. They’ll only get a few drops each, but that will be enough to multiply their demon bloodline. And the power of their souls will no longer be a problem." The whale spoke, turning slowly.
Calirer just used her senses on the rings, unbelieving. When she felt the blood of the divine pure demon, her legs shook, and she almost collapsed. This was valuable to the point of being impossible...
’She may not know, but the other blood she received will absorb another large amount, and it’s much more terrifying.’ Almin spoke with a resentful tone. ’The demon only had pure blood and high cultivation. But the other had many inexplicable things and hidden power involved. That’s like comparing the blood of a powerful wyvern with that of a pure baby dragon.’
Then, Bruno scoffed, trying to come to terms. "Think of it as an experiment; in the future, we’ll see the changes in Calirer because of this blood. We couldn’t use it recklessly because of what happened to the women. She, being a half-demon, shouldn’t be at great risk."
On the same day, the whale isolated itself to study everything gained in prison. By his side was Ruri. The events in the realm of flames seemed to have freed her from the chains of her mind, and now her mental cultivation was rising again.
The other three from the group isolated themselves separately; they had to stabilize their learning and assimilate all the levels they rose in their cultivation. Everything happened very quickly as everyone gained much more than just power.
In a few days, when Calirer went out to distribute the blood, judging that everyone was already recovered, she saw the round monument being erected in the center of the clan and felt a bit strange. These half-demons did it voluntarily in record time, as if they couldn’t wait to thank and worship at the feet of the statue.
But little did she know that, after that day, things would only get worse and more exaggerated, seemingly never-ending.
