With Alm leading, as soon as the group stepped inside the tower, he noticed a world of difference from when they entered the other tower in the past. Inside, there was a spatial fluctuation and simple runes of a formation. Clearly, this formation was the entrance to the Abyss, crafted by the cultivators of this planet.

The central energy of this formation inside the tower was Yin. So, in five seconds, Alm mastered the formation, and they were whisked away by spatial power.

The whole world around them twisted with the displacement, feeling the laws of the earth very close. They were passing through with the help of spatial distortion, underground, heading towards a cave directly connected to the Abyss. Alm felt it would take one or two minutes to arrive, so he turned to Bruno excitedly, analyzing the recently used power of faith.

’These laws are quite strange. They don’t seem to have any attacking power but possess a challenging protective and purifying capability,’ Bruno remarked lightly. ’If not for this power of faith, we wouldn’t have been able to escape that situation. It is so resistant that I think we could have resisted Almin’s explosion head-on... although we would have been near death after it. Also, we would be the only ones who survived, while it would certainly kill everyone else in our group, and obviously, Almin’s body would be the first to evaporate. It was definitely a total suicide.’

Alm looked at the unconscious Almin being held by Langrum and nodded in agreement. The full power of a core was used at once, along with potent lightning pills and his refined fire laws. It was something even the patriarch couldn’t ignore, but the cost was the user’s life.

Bruno used the faith power he received and formulated the plan, even though he was unsure of its true capability. In the end, he managed to perfectly protect everyone, even averting the worst fate for Almin. It was a big risk, but even Almin knew the risks when he heard the plan. Before, he learned in the worst way that without taking risks, he couldn’t protect anyone, not even himself. So, he just trusted the whale completely, maybe blindly.

Bruno spoke lightly, sensing Almin’s condition. ’He’s perfectly fine, no internal injuries, just drained of his QI. I don’t know how, but it seems that since everyone is part of this faith power, it amplified the effect. Simply put, this faith power is even stronger when used in our followers.’

’You said it doesn’t seem to have any attacking power. But from that sect and evil cultivators, they use it exactly for that. I can’t imagine those evil cultivators of the Sect of the Infernal God choosing as their central technique a power that doesn’t kill anyone.’ Alm commented thoughtfully.

’Indeed, we have to create an opportunity to get our hands on their technique. Of course, I don’t intend to use their technique, but it’ll help me understand other applications and create something new.’ Bruno replied, agreeing.

At that moment, they felt a strong grip on their hand and turned to Ruri. She was smiling after hitting the patriarch’s sensitive parts for the second time. But suddenly, she looked strange.

"You have to get used to this. After all, you’re getting more beautiful every day, and you’ll hear a lot of these things in the future." The whale spoke gently.

She smiled joyfully again at the compliment but soon murmured, nodding. "It’s not that. I don’t care about others. But... now that my body has changed, anyone more observant can sense that I’m not your dual cultivation partner. It ruined your disguise."

Bruno immediately responded, "Hm? Don’t worry about that. I’ll solve this problem soon."

His words resonated with everyone, and Ruri immediately looked surprised, lowering her head with a slightly red face. At the same time, Langrum let out a strange aura. Both thought the same thing.

"What? You’re going to solve this..." The words simply slipped out of Langrum’s control.

Bruno looked at Langrum and snorted. "Let me guess. You, ONCE AGAIN, had the worst thought possible, didn’t you? I truly can’t understand why you have such a dirty mind after everything you have seen so far."

"Shut up!" Lamgrum bashed back. "That’s just normal. It is you who always use the wrong words!"

Bruno shrugged his shoulders. "Words are only that, words." He then turned to Ruri and patted her head. "Make sure you don’t turn out like that green pervert, okay?"

"Okay!" Ruri nodded with a bright smile, completely hiding the fact she also had the same strange idea.

"Fuck you two!" Langrum was furious and simply didn’t want to talk about that anymore. "So, what the hell do you mean by solving this problem soon?"

Bruno finally continued. "I’ll solve this because when we leave the Abyss, I won’t need this disguise anymore! I won’t be an evil cultivator, and she can simply be someone who travels with me."

Ruri listened, looking at him thoughtfully, then let out a small sigh. Soon after, the space around them began to recompose. They had finally reached the abyss, after so much time among the evil cultivators.

They quickly found themselves in a gigantic cave with dim lighting. The whale looked at the teleport formation behind him and snorted. He could destroy it if he wanted, but there was no need. The patriarch and everyone else would be too scared to go through the formation since the risk of it being destroyed while they went through existed. If the formation was destroyed in that critical moment, death was certain even for the patriarch of the Bloodthirst Light Sect. That gave the whale’s group more than enough time to disappear. Besides, Alm and Bruno needed that patriarch to come.

Following that, the whale turned towards a suffocating darkness and placed the extremely excited Ruri on its shoulders. Bruno and Alm took steps, with everyone following closely, extremely alert. It was a large tunnel, and there was no sign of life anywhere. They walked at a brisk pace and crossed it quickly in three minutes.

Then the group emerged from the cave, and the Abyss stretched before them, a dark and demonic landscape. A deep darkness, imbued with the Yin of death and dense infernal laws, enveloped the surroundings, resembling a black hole that absorbed any trace of life around it. Every breath was suffocated by the intensity of the energies and laws permeating the air.

As the name suggests, the Abyss was a massive hole, and descending into it meant immersing into the depths below the earth. The group was in the outer and higher region, allowing them to glimpse a bit of the Abyss and other areas in the distance. Every few kilometers, a distortion in space became more evident and powerful, clearly indicating the different levels of the Abyss. It was as if they were facing overlapping layers of a dark and mysterious universe.

By using a bit of Qi to see further into the inner regions of the Abyss, an attractive force manifested, distorting space as they delved deeper. It was as if the very fabric of reality was being twisted and warped, making the thought of turning back an extremely challenging task. The conveyed sensation was of being trapped in an inescapable vortex.

The view was stunning, and the feeling was eerie. The Abyss, with its dense and distorted aura, stirred a sense of both fear and excitement. Soon, the whale took the first step, and everyone followed a bit hesitantly.
