Ding Yang immediately gave an awkward yet polite smile.

The team in charge of producing the Prosthetic Bodies took over the post-implantation calibration and data testing.
Speed and strength—these were the mandatory test parameters.
As the test proceeded, Wang Ziru explained, "Liu Wei’s physical strength is at the Tier One Level, which corresponds to M-Class prosthetic strength."
"But it’s possible to install a Prosthetic Body that’s a higher Level than the user. Even an ordinary person can be fitted with an L-Class Prosthetic Body, although they might not be able to unleash its full performance."
"However, if the gap is only a single tier, the prosthetic’s performance can be almost fully unleashed."

When the report was presented, Ding Yang and Jiang Shangyang both gasped.

Wang Ziru immediately led the way with a smile, taking Ding Yang and Jiang Shangyang back to the first floor and into the conference room Ding Yang was already familiar with.
Once they were settled, Lin Qi stopped keeping Director Ding in suspense and took the initiative to speak.
"Director Ding, let’s not beat around the bush. The reason I showed you the Mo University Camp’s latest research is that I am, of course, willing to give this power to the rescue teams."

Hearing this, Director Ding immediately understood.

Yes, Ding Yang didn’t think for a second that Lin Qi was being wary of Headquarters. He was simply expressing his dissatisfaction.

In other words, Ding Yang felt that Headquarters was in the wrong.
Lin Qi, for his part, hadn’t expected that Ding Yang would unconsciously create such a reasonable justification for his actions.
Ding Yang spoke up, "With the current production capabilities of our various rescue teams, it’s true that we couldn’t produce such high-precision, cutting-edge equipment."
He was agreeing with Lin Qi. Beside him, Jiang Shangyang frowned but offered no rebuttal.
Lin Qi nodded and continued, "But the rate at which the Zombies and monsters are getting stronger is accelerating. Since our Mo University Camp is located in Modu, we naturally don’t want to see the nearby rescue camps fall."
