Chapter 431: Joy Or Expectation

"Grandmother..." Xuan Xue decided to ask about it.

Bingyin opened her eyes and turned towards Xuan Xue calmly," What is it, Xue’er..." she already had a feeling about what Xuan Xue would ask.

"I hope you won’t leave us after recovering..." 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Xuan Xue didn’t directly ask about it but her intentions were clear.

"Hehehe... my little Xue’er, you don’t have to ask in a roundabout manner, it is true that I want to take revenge but I am also not going to give up on my life which you all have protected in some way..."

Bingyin shook her head, Wang Yuyan might have pulled her from the gloom of death but after she left, it was Xuan Xue and the others who had kept her sane.

"I am still very weak, Xue’er, forget about my recovery, even reaching the peak realm would take me an enormous amount of time... so, you can rest assured that for the time being, even if I want to, it is impossible for me to go and look for revenge..." Bingyin sighed.

"Then that’s good, grandmother, because we won’t let you go alone either way..."

Xuan Xue spoke in a calm yet resolved tone and the others agreed too, there was no way they would leave her when she needed them most.

"Why am I not even surprised... sigh..." This was another reason why Bingyin was a little reluctant overall to even tell them everything but in the end she had decided to tell them. Everything else aside, they were now her only family left in this world," You all should become stronger first, without reaching the peak don’t even think about anything else..."

After saying that Bingyin began walking some more and talked casually with the others.

Lin Feng listened quietly to everything, it seemed that in the future he would have to go to the Beast Realm. The last and only time he had visited there was to find the Pure Yang Stone.

After a few minutes later Bingyin finally returned back to her cave," It is time for me to go rest again, you all should take care and Feng’er, do wake me once you decide to leave... I won’t be in a deep slumber from now on."

Lin Feng gave a slight nod," I will..." Suddenly he thought of something," Grandmother, do you need something to help you heal better? Although the chances are low, I might find something which will be helpful for you in the higher world."

The best way he had thought of previously was to find good yang related spirit herbs and create a pill to suppress the death laws in her wound but even in a higher world like the one he might be visiting for the time being, the yang related resources would be very rare or almost impossible to find.

The only other way he could think of was to make his grandmother stronger, it was the same outcome with a different path as her strength would logically help her suppress the wound.

The resources which could help her become stronger were related to ice or vitality, which at least he might have some chance of acquiring.

"There is no need, Feng’er, although low realm resources can still work on me, the amount needed will be tremendous and as for resources which can really have an impact on me, I doubt you can find them anywhere other than the Heavenly World of this realm...Just focus on your growth, I am not in a hurry to recover or anything."

Lin Feng was already aware of these things, the reason he mentioned it was because of the Eternal Dao Lotus, if his instincts were correct then if he successfully made it take root in his soul sea then he might be able to locate spirit herbs which might be impossible to find otherwise.

This was the reason he was a little hopeful of finding some extraordinary spirit herbs which might be able to help her.

Even lower node worlds had the potential to nurture high realm spirit herbs, it was just that they didn’t get enough time.

Lin Feng sighed inwardly, there was no point in thinking about anything unless he first succeeded in his task with the Eternal Dao Lotus.

"Alright then, I am going now..." Bingyin said and let Mu Yao down," Take care, Yao’er, grandmother loves you..."

Mu Yao became happy and nodded thoroughly," I will, grandmother, please take care of yourself too..."

The others couldn’t help but pout when they heard Bingyin.

"Now grandmother is showing favoritism... I am hurt," Hua Ying said with a tone filled with fake grievance.

"Yes, yes, I love you all, now get lost and stop acting like children..." Bingyin spoke with a fake annoyed tone and went inside the cave.

"Aiyo~ it’s been a while since we made her a little annoyed... hehehe," Hua Ying smiled.

The others smiled in remembrance.

Shortly after, they all left and Lin Feng came back to his cave abode. It was time to let the Eternal Dao Lotus devour chaos qi.

Now that he had become far stronger than the Eternal Dao Lotus, he had to weaken his chaos qi for the Eternal Dao Lotus or it wouldn’t be able to absorb it.

Looking at it swirling made him a little expectant towards his task. He had taken care of the Eternal Dao Lotus for a very long time now and even he had developed a fondness towards it.

"I wonder if your swirl means joy or expectation..."

Lin Feng didn’t really have a clue about that, the sentience of the Eternal Dao Lotus was in its infancy and because of this it might be relying mostly on instincts rather than emotions so there was a chance that it would reject his proposal.

SWIRL!!

The Eternal Dao Lotus swirled again while absorbing the chaos qi, it seemed like it was reacting to his words.

Lin Feng smiled and caressed its petals," Eat as much as you want..."

As he was feeding the Eternal Dao Lotus, he sensed his aunts gathering beside him. Lin Feng thought that they might again show some reluctance towards him doing this but unexpectedly, it didn’t happen.

"Dear, if you are done feeding it then would you mind feeding us too, grandmother wanted us to grow stronger, you know..." Xuan Lian chuckled.
