Chapter 87: Cross-Domain Teleportation Array!

A vein bulged on Chen Xuan’s forehead.

Less than half a day had passed since his return to the mine and his subsequent seclusion.

Yet his disciples had clearly managed to stir up trouble.

For a brief moment, he considered ignoring them and letting them learn a painful lesson through suffering.

However, he ultimately restrained that impulse.

He knew that since the System had gone out of its way to issue a warning, there had to be a reason.

Given their respective System Evaluations, which took into account one’s fortune, it was highly unlikely that either disciple would truly die.

However, they were bound to suffer greatly.

Thinking of this, a stern expression settled across his face as he rose to his feet.

Instantly, the Nascent Soul within his Dantian pointed its finger toward the sky while his divine sense swept outward.

It spread across the Spirit Stone mine.

Ten percent. Fifty percent. Eighty percent.

In the blink of an eye, his perception enveloped the entire mine, granting him a complete overview of everything taking place inside of it.

He watched as the Jade Pure Sect disciples carried out their duties and even observed Duan Feng refining pills.

The other party remained completely oblivious.

Though he was a Core Formation expert and was on the verge of breaking through to a breakthrough, the gap between them was too big for him to notice Chen Xuan’s peeping.

However, Chen Xuan paid little attention to these scenes.

After taking a brief look, he began searching for his disciples, starting from the location where he had left them to fend for themselves.

Almost immediately, he was rendered speechless.

His disciples’ path... was quite astonishing.

Usually, there were proper methods for mining and navigating through Spirit Stone veins.

Most cultivators either dug in a straight line or gradually hollowed out the surrounding area in the shape of a sphere.

Yet his disciples apparently rejected common sense.

Countless winding tunnels twisted through the mine, as if they were not humans, but an ant colony.

Fortunately, Chen Xuan’s divine sense was powerful enough to trace their path.

Shortly after, it arrived at the site of the earlier collapse.

But just as he was about to locate the two women, his vision was blocked.

An invisible force descended and severed his connection with the area, as though another Nascent Soul cultivator had taken action to block his senses.

No. The obstruction he faced was even stronger.

With Chen Xuan’s current cultivation and strength, ordinary Nascent Soul cultivators would not be capable of blocking his sight.

Only peak Nascent Soul experts, or even powerhouses beyond this realm, could achieve this.

Such a realization made Chen Xuan’s expression darken.

He knew that his disciples might have stumbled upon something unusual.

However, he knew that now was not the time to be cautious and conduct a thorough investigation.

Every moment he wasted increased the chances of the two women causing even more trouble for themselves.

With that thought, Chen Xuan pushed the door open and headed for the Spirit Stone mine.

He didn’t inform anyone, neither Su Ying nor Duan Feng.

Although they were both Core Formation cultivators, their strength was hardly enough to provide him any help.

If even Chen Xuan found it troublesome, then these people would be nothing but a burden.

Soon, his figure shot through the mine.

Rather than follow the underground labyrinth his disciples had created, he drew the Common Saber, choosing to carve out a path of his own.

Boom!

A thunderous roar echoed through the tunnels, though it was quickly suppressed by Chen Xuan.

Spirit Stone was extremely durable. Ordinary mortals could not mine it at all, and it required cultivators to take action.

Yet, before Chen Xuan’s attack, the ore put up no resistance.

A single swing formed a tunnel stretching for miles, while a second expanded the opening even further.

With each strike, he rapidly approached the site of collapse.

It didn’t take long. Moments later, Chen Xuan finally arrived.

He remained cautious.

The earlier interference had already proven that there was something weird going on.

Hovering a few inches above the ground, Chen Xuan once again extended his perception.

At the same time, the Heavenly Insight Eye was activated, as he tried to search for his disciples’ luck.

Unfortunately, the results were rather disappointing.

Neither his divine sense nor the Heavenly Insight Eye could locate his disciples.

Still, he managed to uncover a few clues.

’It seems that someone detonated the Spirit Stone in this area. Was it an enemy? Or those two girls?’ he wondered, leaning toward the latter possibility.

Both of his disciples’ cultivations were sealed.

Any enemy they faced had no reason to do such a thing.

Only Chi Yao and Huo Ling’er could.

Realizing this, Chen Xuan’s eyes narrowed.

He swung the saber one more time, targeting everything around him.

The ore in a radius of several miles was completely cleared.

Yet, he found nothing.

Just as he was about to try again, a youthful voice echoed directly within his mind.

"Huh? Where are you? How could you find a teleportation array in a remote Domain like this one?"

The moment the words fell, his Dantian trembled.

Golden light burst from his body, condensing into Honglan’s figure.

She glanced faintly at Chen Xuan before surveying the surroundings with clear curiosity.

She even sniffed the air a couple of times as her eyes lit up.

"Yes! That’s it! I can feel it. The aura is exactly the same," she exclaimed.

"It’s a Cross-Domain Teleportation Array!"

Her words caused Chen Xuan’s eyes to brighten. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

"Do you know where the array is?" he asked.

Honglan had originally intended to tease him a little, finally having a chance to show up.

But upon seeing the seriousness on his face, she quickly realized something was wrong.

She abandoned her thoughts and nodded.

"Of course. My Master was an extremely accomplished Formation Master and forced me to study formations with them for years. I’d recognize this aura anywhere."

As she was speaking, her true form appeared in her hand.

Perhaps due to devouring the Star Essence, most of the cracks covering the sword had faded away.

Though a handful of them remained, the pressure radiating from its body had become significantly more powerful, proving that she had somewhat recovered.

"Over here. Follow me," Honglan said as she pointed her sword downward and swung.

Boom!

The ground exploded apart, leaving behind a colossal crater.

However, she didn’t stop there.

She attacked again and again, as if she were a demolition expert.

Before long, a tunnel stretching for over a hundred miles had been carved into the ground.

Just as Chen Xuan was about to say something, a faint blue glow emerged from its depths.
