Chapter 714: Chapter 714- Lau Awakens his Dormant Inheritance
Han Bo, beside him, his scarred face slack, nodded. "Four Core Formation cultivators in the forest was nothing. He’s fighting twenty. Without a weapon. With his bare hands."
Zhou Wei, the lean young man, stared. "This... this isn’t Core Formation. This isn’t Golden Core. This isn’t Nascent Soul. What is this?"
The purple-black aura intensified. Lau’s body, the thin frame, began to change. The proportions shifted. The shoulders widened. The arms lengthened. The fingers extended. Claws, dark and curved, emerged from the fingertips.
The demon was emerging.
"Elder brother!" Xu Ran shouted. "Your body! You’re..."
Lau’s brown eyes, shifting to purple, turned to his younger brother. The gaze, the void-touched gaze, held a fragment of the boy within. A fragment that was fighting. Fighting the transformation. Fighting the demon.
"I’m fine," Lau said. His voice was different. Deeper. Resonant. The voice of two beings speaking through one mouth. "Stay back."
An armor formed. The void energy, the purple-black aura, condensed. Plates of condensed qi, dark and solid, materialized around his body. Pauldrons on his shoulders. A breastplate on his chest. Greaves on his shins. The armor of a void demon, the battle form of the entity that had shattered ancient pines and killed cultivators with a thought.
The soldiers fell back. The Core Formation guards, their weapons useless, their formation arrays shattered, their comrades scattered across the plateau, retreated. The terror on their faces was absolute.
Lau, armored, his body half-transformed, turned toward the main ship. Toward the closed doors. Toward the immortal who had taken his mother.
"I’m coming, Mother," he said.
He took a step. The ground cracked beneath his foot. The void energy, radiating from his body, began to erode the stone.
Then the punch came.
It came from the side. From the right. A fist, small and pale, wreathed in Soul Formation qi. The strike, aimed at Lau’s temple, carried the force of a being who had transcended every realm the lower world recognized.
The armor shattered.
The void plates, the condensed qi, the demon’s battle form, disintegrated. The pauldrons cracked. The breastplate split. The greaves shattered. The pieces, dark and fragmented, flew. The void energy, dispersed by the Soul Formation strike, scattered.
Lau’s body was thrown. The thin frame, stripped of armor, stripped of the demon’s power, was hurled through the air. He hit the tree line at the edge of the plateau. Not one tree. Several. The pines, their trunks thick, snapped as his body passed through them. Wood splintered. Branches flew. His body, tumbling, crashing, breaking through five trees before stopping, came to rest in a crater of splintered wood and churned earth.
He coughed. Blood, thick and dark, sprayed from his mouth. His brown eyes, the purple fading, the void retreating, were wide. Shocked. His body, thin and broken, lay in the wreckage.
Standing on the plateau, her fist still extended, her Soul Formation qi cycling, was Madam Fengyan.
The Phoenix Tribe sect leader. The thick woman. The woman Tianlong had fucked through a rock. The woman whose cultivation had been elevated to Soul Formation by divine sex. The woman whose enormous tits, barely contained by her dark red and gold robes, heaved with the force of the punch she had just thrown.
She stood. Her beautiful face, composed, held no anger. No malice. The neutral expression of a woman following orders.
Xu Ran’s gang, their faces white, their bodies frozen, stared. At the woman. At the power. At the speed. At the destruction. At their elder brother, lying in a crater of splintered wood, coughing blood.
"ELDER BROTHERHER!" Xu Ran screamed. He ran. Toward the trees. Toward the crater. Toward his broken brother.
Han Bo followed. Zhou Wei followed. The gang, their courage, their righteous fury, their young blood, driving them forward, ran toward the wreckage.
Madam Fengyan raised her hand. One finger. A snap.
The sound was small. The effect was not. A wave of Soul Formation qi, invisible but absolute, pressed outward. The wave hit the five young men. Their bodies, Core Formation cultivators, were driven to the ground. Their knees hit the stone. Their hands hit the stone. Their faces hit the stone. The pressure, the weight of a Soul Formation cultivator’s will, pinned them. Five young men, their bodies pressed flat, their bones groaning, their spiritual energies suppressed.
"You cannot hurt elder brother like that!" Xu Ran yelled. His face, pressed against the stone, was contorted. His handsome features, twisted with fury. "You... you monster! He was trying to save his mother! How could you..."
Madam Fengyan looked at him. At the young man. At his fury. At his loyalty.
"I am the daughter of the clan," she said. Her voice was calm. Composed. The voice of a woman reciting a title. "I am Madam Fengyan of the Phoenix Tribe. Son of the Crimson Flame bloodline."
The name, the title, the bloodline, hit Xu Ran like a second wave. His eyes, wide, found her face.
"How do you know it?" he said. His voice was muffled by the stone. "How do you know that name? The Crimson Flame bloodline... that’s... that’s the branch family of the..."
"Lau," Madam Fengyan said. She turned to one of the Core Formation elders who had arrived, summoned by the commotion. An elder of the Phoenix Tribe, a middle-aged man with sharp features. "Elder Samanda."
The elder, Samanda, bowed. "Yes, Madam."
Madam Fengyan’s voice was cold. Precise. The voice of a woman delivering a verdict.
"The boy who calls this one elder brother," she said, gesturing toward Xu Ran, still pinned to the ground. "His family holds the younger brother’s lineage. The branch family of the Crimson Flame. Summon the patriarch. Tell him to take away his sons. Or we will erase the name of his family from the province."
The words, the threat, the casual, administrative tone of a woman ordering the destruction of a family, fell into the silence.
Elder Samanda bowed. "It will be done."
Xu Ran’s face, pressed against the stone, went white. Not with fear. With shock. The sheer, overwhelming shock of a young man who had just learned that his family, his bloodline, his entire lineage, could be erased by a single word from a woman he had never met.
The gang, pinned to the ground, was silent. Their young blood, their righteous fury, their invincible conviction, was gone. Replaced by the cold, crushing realization that they were nothing. That their power, their Core Formation cultivation, their academy training, was less than nothing in the face of Soul Formation.
Madam Fengyan walked toward the crater. Toward Lau’s body. Her thick body, the formal robes pulling across her enormous tits and thick ass, moved with the composed grace of a woman who had just knocked out a void demon with one punch.
She reached the crater. She looked down. At Lau’s body. At the thin frame, broken, bleeding, the brown hair matted with blood, the plain robes torn. The boy was unconscious. His brown eyes, closed. His mouth, open, blood pooling.
She reached down. Her hands, pale, gripped his shoulder. She lifted.
His body glowed.
The light, purple-black, erupted from his skin. Madam Fengyan’s hands, touching his body, were repelled. The void energy, flaring, pushed her back. She jumped. Three meters. Landing on her feet, her thick body, the enormous tits swaying, the thick hips shifting, was in a defensive stance.
"What?" she said. Her composed face showed the first crack. The first surprise.
